Abstract
Description
本開示の車両は、駆動輪と、駆動輪に機械的に接続されるモータジェネレータと、モータジェネレータにより発電された回生電力により充電されるリチウムイオン二次電池と、リチウムイオン二次電池への充電電流を制御する制御装置とを備える。そして、制御装置は、充電電流が充電制限値を超えないように回生電力を制限する制御部と、Li析出限界値を用いて充電制限値を設定する設定部とを含む。また、制御部は、所定の許容条件が成立する場合には、所定の許容期間において充電制限値がLi析出限界値よりも大きくなることを許容することによって、充電停止後に溶解が見込まれるリチウムがリチウムイオン二次電池の負極に析出することを許容する。
図9は、ECU300により実行される充電制限値設定処理の手順を示すフローチャートである。このフローチャートに示される処理は、所定時間経過毎又は所定条件の成立時にメインルーチンから呼び出されて繰り返し実行される。
Claims (8)
- リチウムイオン二次電池への充電電流を制御するリチウムイオン二次電池の制御装置であって、
前記充電電流は、充電停止後に溶解が見込まれるリチウムが前記リチウムイオン二次電池の負極に析出することを許容するように制御される、リチウムイオン二次電池の制御装置。 - 前記充電電流が所定の上限値を超えないように前記充電電流を制御する制御部と、
前記リチウムイオン二次電池の負極にリチウムが析出しない前記充電電流の最大値を示すLi析出限界値を用いて前記上限値を設定する設定部とを備え、
前記制御部は、所定の許容条件が成立する場合には、所定の許容期間において前記上限値が前記Li析出限界値よりも大きくなることを許容することによって、充電停止後に溶解が見込まれるリチウムが前記リチウムイオン二次電池の負極に析出することを許容する、請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池の制御装置。 - 前記許容条件は、前記リチウムイオン二次電池のSOCが所定SOC値よりも低い場合に成立し、
前記所定SOC値は90%以上100%以下である、請求項2に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池の制御装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記許容期間が終了したタイミングで充電を停止させて、この充電停止後に所定時間が経過するまでは充電を行なわない、請求項2又は3に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池の制御装置。
- 前記許容期間は、前記充電電流が前記Li析出限界値に一致したタイミングである許容開始点から所定時間が経過するまでの期間である、請求項2〜4のいずれか1項に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池の制御装置。
- 前記許容期間においては、前記上限値が前記許容開始点の前記Li析出限界値に維持される、請求項5に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池の制御装置。
- 前記許容期間の長さを定める前記所定時間は、前記許容開始点における前記リチウムイオン二次電池の環境温度、SOC、及び前記充電電流の少なくとも1つを用いて決定される、請求項5又は6に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池の制御装置。
- 駆動輪と、
前記駆動輪に機械的に接続されるモータジェネレータと、
前記モータジェネレータにより発電された回生電力により充電されるリチウムイオン二次電池と、
前記リチウムイオン二次電池への充電電流を制御する制御装置とを備え、
前記制御装置は、

前記リチウムイオン二次電池の負極にリチウムが析出しない前記充電電流の最大値を示すLi析出限界値を用いて前記上限値を設定する設定部とを含み、
前記制御部は、所定の許容条件が成立する場合には、所定の許容期間において前記上限値が前記Li析出限界値よりも大きくなることを許容することによって、充電停止後に溶解が見込まれるリチウムが前記リチウムイオン二次電池の負極に析出することを許容する、車両。
