Abstract
Description
自車両の周辺の外界状態を認識する外界認識部と、
自車両の走行位置を認識する位置認識部と、
位置認識部により自車両の走行位置が停止禁止領域の内部であることが認識され、且つ、外界認識部により自車両の前方に進入しようとする他車両が認識される場合に、他車両が自車両の前方に進入したと仮定して他車両と停止禁止領域との間に自車両が進入可能な進入スペースが形成されるか否かを推定するスペース推定部と、
スペース推定部により進入スペースが形成されないと推定される場合に、他車両が自車両の前方に進入することを防止するための進入阻止行動を自車両に行わせる車両制御部と、を備える。
行動設定部は、スペース推定部により進入スペースが形成されないと推定される場合に、自車両が停止禁止領域に進入する前に設定した自車両がとるべき行動に比べて、自車両が停止禁止領域の外側へ速やかに移動することができるよう、自車両がとるべき行動を変更することが好ましい。
図1に示されるように、自車両10は、車両制御装置12と、該車両制御装置12に入力される各種情報を取得又は記憶する入力系装置群14と、車両制御装置12が出力する各種指示に応じて動作する出力系装置群16と、を備える。自車両10は、車両制御装置12により運転操作が行われる自動運転車両(完全自動運転車両を含む。)、又は、一部の運転操作を支援する運転支援車両である。
入力系装置群14には、自車両10の周囲(外界)の状態を検出する外界センサ18と、自車両10の外部にある各種通信機器と情報の送受信を行う通信装置19と、位置精度がセンチメートル単位以下であるMPU(高精度地図)22と、目的地までの走行経路を生成すると共に自車両10の走行位置を計測するナビゲーション装置24と、自車両10の走行状態を検出する車両センサ26と、が含まれる。
出力系装置群16には、駆動力出力装置40と操舵装置42と制動装置44と報知装置46と警笛装置(クラクション)47とヘッドライト(前照灯)48とが含まれる。
車両制御装置12はECUにより構成され、プロセッサ等の演算装置50と、ROMやRAM等の記憶装置52と、を備える。車両制御装置12は、演算装置50が記憶装置52に記憶されるプログラムを実行することにより各種機能を実現する。
図5のフローチャートを参照して、踏切内140inや交差点内160inを走行中の自車両10の車両制御装置12の動作(処理)を説明する。この処理は、自車両10の電源が投入されている間に繰り返し実行される。
自車両10の運転制御を行う車両制御装置12は、自車両10の周辺の外界状態を認識する外界認識部60と、自車両10の走行位置を認識する自車位置認識部70と、自車位置認識部70により自車両10の走行位置が特定領域(停止禁止領域)としての踏切140や交差点160の内部であることが認識され、且つ、外界認識部60により自車両10の前方に進入しようとする側道車両20S(他車両20)が認識される場合に、側道車両20Sが自車両10の前方に進入したと仮定して側道車両20Sと特定領域との間に自車両10が進入可能なスペース130(進入スペース)が形成されるか否かを推定するスペース推定部84と、スペース推定部84によりスペース130が形成されないと推定される場合、側道車両20Sが自車両10の前方に進入することを防止するための進入阻止行動を自車両10に行わせる車両制御部90と、を備える。

Claims (5)
- 自車両の運転制御を行う車両制御装置であって、
前記自車両の周辺の外界状態を認識する外界認識部と、
前記自車両の走行位置を認識する位置認識部と、
前記位置認識部により前記自車両の前記走行位置が停止禁止領域の内部であることが認識され、且つ、前記外界認識部により前記自車両の前方に進入しようとする他車両が認識される場合に、前記他車両が前記自車両の前方に進入したと仮定して前記他車両と前記停止禁止領域との間に前記自車両が進入可能な進入スペースが形成されるか否かを推定するスペース推定部と、
前記スペース推定部により前記進入スペースが形成されないと推定される場合に、前記他車両が前記自車両の前方に進入することを防止するための進入阻止行動を前記自車両に行わせる車両制御部と、を備える
ことを特徴とする車両制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の車両制御装置において、
前記車両制御部は、前記進入阻止行動として、前記他車両に対して前記自車両の存在を報知する
ことを特徴とする車両制御装置。 - 請求項2に記載の車両制御装置において、
前記車両制御部は、前記他車両に対して前記自車両の存在を報知するための行動として、音出力装置を作動させる
ことを特徴とする車両制御装置。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の車両制御装置において、
さらに、前記外界認識部及び前記位置認識部の認識結果に基づいて、前記自車両の走行状況を判断し、前記自車両がとるべき行動を策定する行動設定部を備え、
前記行動設定部は、前記スペース推定部により前記進入スペースが形成されないと推定される場合に、前記自車両が前記停止禁止領域に進入する前に設定した前記自車両がとるべき行動に比べて、前記自車両が前記停止禁止領域の外側へ速やかに移動することができるよう、前記自車両がとるべき前記行動を変更する
ことを特徴とする車両制御装置。 - 請求項4に記載の車両制御装置において、
前記車両制御部は、前記進入阻止行動として、変更後の前記行動に基づき、駆動力出力装置を制御して前記自車両を加速させる
ことを特徴とする車両制御装置。
