Claims (4)
- 端部にて芯線が剥き出しとなった電線と、
前記電線の前記端部に圧着させることで前記芯線に対して物理的且つ電気的に接続された圧着端子と、
を備え、
前記圧着端子は、底部に載置された前記電線の前記端部に対して一対のバレル片部を互いに重ねて巻き付けた電線接続部を有し、
前記電線接続部は、前記底部及び前記一対のバレル片部が前記電線の前記端部の前記芯線に圧着された芯線圧着部と、前記底部及び前記一対のバレル片部が前記電線の前記端部の被覆に圧着された被覆圧着部と、を有し、
前記電線接続部は、前記芯線圧着部における前記芯線の挟み方向での前記底部と前記一対のバレル片部との間隔よりも、前記被覆圧着部における前記被覆の挟み方向での前記底部と前記一対のバレル片部との間隔を拡げた状態で、前記電線の前記端部に圧着し、
前記芯線圧着部は、前記芯線の先端側に圧着された第1芯線圧着部と、前記第1芯線圧着部と前記被覆圧着部との間で、前記第1芯線圧着部側から前記被覆圧着部側に向かうに連れて、前記芯線の挟み方向での前記底部との間隔を拡げながら前記一対のバレル片部が前記芯線に巻き付けられた第2芯線圧着部と、を有し、
前記芯線圧着部と前記被覆圧着部は、一方の前記バレル片部と他方の前記バレル片部とが重なるオーバラップ領域を有し、
前記第2芯線圧着部と前記被覆圧着部との境界部分に配置された境界圧着領域は、少なくとも前記オーバラップ領域に、前記電線の前記圧着端子からの引き出し方向に対する角度が前記第2芯線圧着部側と前記被覆圧着部側とで異なる2つの圧着部を繋ぐ連結圧着部を複数備えることを特徴とした端子付き電線。 - 前記連結圧着部は、一方の前記圧着部から他方の前記圧着部に向けて徐変させた弧状に形成することを特徴とした請求項1に記載の端子付き電線。
- 底部及び一対のバレル片部を有する圧着端子の前記底部を支持面で支持する第1金型と、
前記底部及び前記一対のバレル片部で囲まれた空間部に電線の端部を入り込ませた状態で前記第1金型との間隔を縮めていきながら前記電線の前記端部に対して前記一対のバレル片部を互いに重ねて巻き付ける第2金型と、
を備え、
前記第2金型は、前記電線の前記端部の剥き出しとなった芯線に前記一対のバレル片部を圧着させる芯線加圧部と、前記電線の前記端部の被覆に前記一対のバレル片部を圧着させる被覆加圧部と、を有し、
前記芯線加圧部と前記被覆加圧部は、前記第1金型と前記第2金型との間の相対移動方向における前記芯線加圧部と前記支持面との間隔が、前記相対移動方向における前記被覆加圧部と前記支持面との間隔よりも狭まるように配置し、
前記芯線加圧部は、前記芯線の先端側に前記一対のバレル片部を圧着させる第1芯線加圧部と、前記第1芯線加圧部と前記被覆加圧部との間で、前記第1芯線加圧部側から前記被覆加圧部側に向かうに連れて、前記芯線の挟み方向での前記底部と前記一対のバレル片部との間隔を拡げながら前記芯線に前記一対のバレル片部を圧着させる第2芯線加圧部と、を有し、
前記芯線加圧部と前記被覆加圧部は、一方の前記バレル片部と他方の前記バレル片部とが重なるオーバラップ領域を形成する接合加圧領域を有し、
前記第2芯線加圧部と前記被覆加圧部との境界部分に配置された境界加圧領域は、少なくとも前記接合加圧領域に、前記電線の前記圧着端子からの引き出し方向に対する角度が前記第2芯線加圧部側と前記被覆加圧部側とで異なる2つの加圧部を繋ぐ連結加圧部を複数備えることを特徴とした端子圧着装置。 - 底部及び一対のバレル片部を有する圧着端子の前記底部を第1金型の支持面で支持する端子支持工程と、
前記底部及び前記一対のバレル片部で囲まれた空間部に電線の端部を入り込ませた状態で前記第1金型と第2金型との間隔を縮めていきながら前記電線の前記端部に対して前記一対のバレル片部を互いに重ねて巻き付けることで、前記電線の前記端部の剥き出しとなった芯線に圧着された芯線圧着部及び前記電線の前記端部の被覆に圧着された被覆圧着部を形成する圧着工程と、
を有し、
前記圧着工程では、前記支持面に対向配置された前記第2金型の第1芯線加圧部で前記電線の前記端部の前記芯線の先端側に前記一対のバレル片部を圧着させ、かつ、前記支持面に対向配置された前記第2金型の被覆加圧部で前記電線の前記端部の前記被覆に前記一対のバレル片部を圧着させ、かつ、前記第1芯線加圧部と前記被覆加圧部との間にて前記支持面に対向配置された前記第2金型の第2芯線加圧部で、前記第1芯線加圧部側から前記被覆加圧部側に向かうに連れて、前記芯線の挟み方向での前記底部と前記一対のバレル片部との間隔を拡げながら前記芯線に前記一対のバレル片部を圧着させ、これにより、一方の前記バレル片部と他方の前記バレル片部とが重なるオーバラップ領域を形成し、
前記圧着工程では、前記第1芯線加圧部と前記被覆加圧部と前記第2芯線加圧部とで前記一対のバレル片部を圧着する際に、前記第2芯線加圧部と前記被覆加圧部との境界部分に配置された境界加圧領域の内の前記オーバラップ領域を形成する接合加圧領域に少なくとも設けた複数の加圧部であり、前記電線の前記圧着端子からの引き出し方向に対する角度が前記第2芯線加圧部側と前記被覆加圧部側とで異なる2つの加圧部を繋ぐ連結加圧部で、前記電線の前記端部に前記一対のバレル片部を圧着させることを特徴とした端子付き電線の製造方法。
