Abstract
【解決手段】縦方向に延在する端子ユニットが縦方向と直交する横方向に複数並んだ端子ユニットアセンブリと、端子ユニットアセンブリを収容するアセンブリ収容凹部を含む枠部材とを備え、端子ユニットは、縦方向に延在する端子保持部と、端子保持部に保持される本体部、端子ユニットの上面よりも上方又は下面よりも下方に突出する接触部及び本体部と接触部とを連結する接触腕部を含む複数の端子と、縦方向に延在する側壁部であって、接触腕部と当接可能な複数の当接部を有し、端子保持部の横方向に隣接して配設された側壁部とを含み、接触部が横方向及び縦方向と直交する上下方向の力を受けると、側壁部は縦方向の一方へ向いた力を受ける。

Claims (7)
- (a)縦方向に延在する端子ユニットが前記縦方向と直交する横方向に複数並んだ端子ユニットアセンブリと、該端子ユニットアセンブリを収容するアセンブリ収容凹部を含む枠部材とを備え、
(b)前記端子ユニットは、前記縦方向に延在する端子保持部と、該端子保持部に保持される本体部、前記端子ユニットの上面よりも上方又は下面よりも下方に突出する接触部及び前記本体部と接触部とを連結する接触腕部を含む複数の端子と、前記縦方向に延在する側壁部であって、前記接触腕部と当接可能な複数の当接部を有し、前記端子保持部の横方向に隣接して配設された側壁部とを含み、
(c)前記接触部が前記横方向及び縦方向と直交する上下方向の力を受けると、前記側壁部は前記縦方向の一方へ向いた力を受けることを特徴とするソケット。 - 前記横方向に隣接して並んだ一対の端子ユニットにおいて、第1の端子ユニットの側壁部が前記縦方向の一方へ向いた力を受けると、第2の端子ユニットの側壁部は前記縦方向の他方へ向いた力を受ける請求項1に記載のソケット。
- 前記横方向に隣接して並んだ一対の端子ユニットにおいて、第1の端子ユニットの端子保持部が前記縦方向の他方へ向いた力を受けると、第2の端子ユニットの端子保持部は前記縦方向の一方へ向いた力を受ける請求項1に記載のソケット。
- 前記端子保持部の両端には、前記枠部材に係止される係止部が形成され、前記側壁部の両端には、前記枠部材に当接する当接面が形成され、前記端子保持部が受ける縦方向の力、及び、前記側壁部が受ける縦方向の力は、前記枠部材によって受止められる請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のソケット。
- 前記枠部材は、上枠部材及び下枠部材を含み、前記端子保持部が受ける縦方向の力は下枠部材によって受止められ、前記側壁部が受ける縦方向の力は上枠部材によって受止められる請求項4に記載のソケット。
- 前記接触腕部は、前記縦方向の一方へ斜めに向って本体部から延出する内腕部と、該内腕部の先端に接続された曲部と、前記縦方向の他方へ斜めに向って前記曲部から接触部まで延出する外腕部とを含み、前記接触部が前記横方向及び縦方向と直交する上下方向の力を受けると、前記曲部が対応する当接部に当接する請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のソケット。
- 前記曲部の前記対応する当接部と反対側には、前記内腕部、曲部及び外腕部に周囲を画定された腕曲空間部が形成され、該腕曲空間部内に前記縦方向の他方側に隣接する接触腕部の曲部に対応する当接部が収容される請求項6に記載のソケット。
