Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の実施形態に係る自動車(車両)用の自動変速機1の構成を示す骨子図である。自動変速機1は、変速機ケース2と、この変速機ケース2内に配置された、エンジン側から延びる入力軸3(入力部)と、出力ギヤ4(出力部)と、変速機構としての4つのプラネタリギヤセット(第1、第2、第3、第4プラネタリギヤセット11、12、13、14)、2つのブレーキ(第1、第2ブレーキ21、22)、及び、3つのクラッチ(第1、第2、第3クラッチ31、32、33)と、を備えている。
図3は、本発明の実施形態に係る変速機構の摩擦締結要素の構成を示す概略的な断面図である。変速機構は、入力軸3と出力ギヤ4との変速比を変更する。ここでは、当該摩擦締結要素が第2ブレーキ22に適用される例を示す。図3(及び以下の図4〜図9)において、入力軸3の軸方向をX方向、自動変速機1の径方向をY方向で示す。また、X方向については、便宜上、図面の左方を−X、右方を+Xとする。
図5〜図9は、前記摩擦締結要素の動作を説明するための概略的な断面図である。図5は、ピストン24が解放位置に存在している状態を示している。すなわち、ピストン24の先端面24Aが摩擦板ユニット5から所定距離だけ離間し、ドライブプレート51とドリブンプレート52とが解放状態にある。図5では、先端面24AのX方向の位置を解放位置P0として示している。このとき、油圧制御部75は、締結油圧室25に締結油圧を供給させない(図中、「OFF」と記載)。つまり、油圧制御部75は、第1ソレノイドバルブ73を、出力ポート732とドレンポート733とが連通される状態に制御する。
続いて、自動変速機1において車両の発進時において実行される油圧制御について説明する。図10は、自動変速機1の油圧経路を示すブロック図、図11は、車両の停車時から発進時における、各摩擦締結要素への油圧の供給状況を示す表形式の図である。図3では、油圧回路72を第2ブレーキ22に対応するものとして示したが、図10では全ての摩擦締結要素(第1、第2ブレーキ21、22及び第1〜第3クラッチ31〜33)に対応する油圧回路72として示している。この油圧回路72には、各擦締結要素対して油圧を供給及びその排出を行うためのソレノイドバルブが備えられている。
以上説明した本実施形態に係る摩擦締結要素乃至は自動変速機によれば、次のような作用効果を奏する。本実施形態に係る摩擦締結要素が適用される第2ブレーキ22は、ピストン24を、締結位置P3に至らせることなく、ピストン24が摩擦板ユニット5(ドリブンプレート52)に当接し且つドライブプレート51とドリブンプレート52との間(摩擦板同士の間)のクリアランスCを詰めるように、ピストン24を第2位置P2まで付勢する第1圧縮コイルバネ61を備える。
以上、本発明の一実施形態を説明したが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、次のような変形実施形態を取ることができる。

Claims (7)
- 駆動源で生成された動力が入力される入力部と、駆動力を出力する出力部と、前記入力部と前記出力部との変速比を変更する変速機構とを備え、前記入力部には前記動力が流体伝動装置を介さずに入力される車両用の自動変速機であって、
前記変速機構は、前記車両の発進変速比を実現するための所定の摩擦締結要素を含み、
前記所定の摩擦締結要素は、
クリアランスを置いて配置された複数の摩擦板と、
前記摩擦板を解放状態とする解放位置と、前記摩擦板を押圧して前記摩擦板同士を締結状態とする締結位置との間を移動可能なピストンと、
前記ピストンが前記摩擦板に当接し且つ前記クリアランスを詰めるように、前記ピストンを付勢する付勢手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする自動変速機。 - 請求項1に記載の自動変速機において、
前記付勢手段は圧縮コイルバネからなり、前記ピストンの前記摩擦板と対向する面とは反対側の面に配置されている、自動変速機。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の自動変速機において、さらに、
前記ピストンを前記締結位置に向かう方向に移動させるための締結油圧室と、
前記締結油圧室に供給する油圧を制御する油圧制御部と、を備え、
前記油圧制御部は、前記車両の停車中において締結油圧室を、前記締結状態を形成するための締結油圧よりも低い油圧が供給された状態とする、自動変速機。 - 請求項3に記載の自動変速機において、
前記発進変速比は、前記所定の摩擦締結要素と、他の摩擦締結要素とによって実現されるものであり、
前記油圧制御部は、前記車両の停車中において、前記他の摩擦締結要素に対しては締結油圧が供給された状態とする、自動変速機。 - 請求項3又は4に記載の自動変速機において、
前記油圧制御部は、前記車両の停車から発進時において、前記締結油圧室に前記締結油圧を供給する、自動変速機。 - 請求項4又は5に記載の自動変速機において、
前記変速機構は、前記発進変速比を作る第1段から最高速の変速比を作るN段までの有段式であって、
前記所定の摩擦締結要素は、前記第1段からN−A段まで連続して締結状態とされ、
前記他の摩擦締結要素は、前記第1段から前記N−B段(但し、B>A)まで締結状態とされる、自動変速機。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の自動変速機において、さらに
前記ピストンを前記解放位置に向かう方向に移動させるための解放油圧室と、
前記解放油圧室に供給する油圧を制御する油圧制御部と、を備え、
前記油圧制御部は、前記ピストンを前記解放位置に向かわせる際、少なくとも前記付勢手段の付勢力よりも大きい油圧を前記解放油圧室に供給する、自動変速機。
