Abstract
Description
正極、負極及び正極と負極の間に挟まれている第1分離膜を含む電極群;及び前記電極群の間に挟まれている第2分離膜;を含み、
電極群は平面を基準に高さ方向に積層されており、
一部または全部の電極群は、積層境界で対向する積層面の面積が互いに異なり、
下記式1を満たす電極群を含んでいることを特徴とする。

前記式で、
Tは任意の電極群の厚さ、T sumは電極群積層体を構成するそれぞれの電極群の厚さの総和である。
Ta=n×Tb (2)
前記式で、
Ta、Tbは積層面の面積が最大の電極群上に積層されている電極群の中で選ばれた任意の電極群であり、nは自然数である。
前記固定部材は、これに限定されず、第1単位セルまたは第2単位セルを固定させることができる機能が可能な部材のいずれも含むことができる。

Claims (30)
- 正極、負極及び正極と負極の間に挟まれている第1分離膜を含む電極群;及び前記電極群の間に挟まれている第2分離膜;を含み、
電極群は平面を基準に高さ方向に積層されており、
一部または全部の電極群は、積層境界で対向する積層面の面積が互いに異なり、
下記式1を満たす電極群を含んでいることを特徴とする、電極群積層体。

前記式で、
Tは任意の電極群の厚さ、T sumは電極群積層体を構成するそれぞれの電極群の厚さの総和である。 - 前記電極群は、正極板、負極板、及び正極板と負極板の間に挟まれている板状の第1分離膜を含み、正極板と負極板が分離板を挟んで平面を基準に高さ方向に積層されているスタック(stack)型電極群であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極群積層体。
- スタック型電極群の間に挟まれている第2分離膜は一単位の分離シートであり、前記分離シートは電極端子非形成部位であるスタック型電極群の側面を包んでいることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記分離シートはスタック型電極群の側面に密着していることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電極群積層体。
- 積層面の面積が最大のスタック型電極群は、最上端に積層された電極と最下端に積層された電極の極性が同一であるSスタック型電極群であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記Sスタック型電極群は、最上端に積層された電極と最下端に積層された電極の極性がいずれも負極であるSAスタック型電極群であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記Sスタック型電極群は、最上端に積層された電極と最下端に積層された電極の極性がいずれも正極であるSCスタック型電極群であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電極群積層体。
- 積層面の面積が最大のスタック型電極群は、最上端に積層された電極と最下端に積層された電極の極性が異なるDスタック型電極群であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記Dスタック型電極群の最小厚さは0.3mmであることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記任意の電極群は積層面の面積が最大の電極群であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記積層面の面積が最大の電極群上に積層されている電極群は下記式2を満たすことを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の電極群積層体。

前記式で、
Ta、Tbは積層面の面積が最大の電極群上に積層されている電極群の中で選ばれた任意の電極群であり、
nは自然数である。 - 前記任意の電極群は、Sスタック型電極群、Dスタック型電極群またはこれらの組合せであることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記正極は負極と対面する面積にだけ正極スラリー層が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記負極は正極と対面する面積にだけ負極スラリー層が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極群積層体。
- 最大厚さが5.5mmであるのを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極群積層体。
- 電極群の境界で対向する正極と負極の中で、対向面積の大きな電極が負極であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極群積層体。
- 電極群の境界で対向する正極と負極の中で、対向面積の大きな電極が正極であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記スタック型電極群は、正極板と負極板のいずれか一つと分離板が最外層を構成するように、正極板、負極板、分離板は積層された状態で接合(laminate)されている構造の第1単位セルを含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記スタック型電極群は、分離板が最外層を構成するように、正極板、負極板、分離板が積層された状態で接合(laminate)されている構造の第2単位セルを含むことを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記分離板の一つは第2分離膜を構成することを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記分離板の一つは第2分離膜を構成することを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記電極群は、積層面の面積が最大の電極群を基準に高さ方向及び高さ反対方向に積層されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記電極群の個数は偶数であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極群積層体。
- 前記電極群の個数は奇数であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極群積層体。
- 請求項1〜24のいずれか一項の電極群積層体が電池ケースに内蔵されていることを特徴とする、リチウム二次電池。
- 前記電池ケースは、樹脂層と金属層を含むラミネートシートの電池ケース、または金属カンであることを特徴とする、請求項25に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記電池ケースには前記電極群積層体の外面形状に対応する内面構造を持つ収納部が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項25に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リチウム二次電池はリチウムイオン電池であることを特徴とする、請求項25に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リチウム二次電池はリチウムポリマー電池であることを特徴とする、請求項25に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リチウム二次電池はリチウムイオンポリマー電池であることを特徴とする、請求項25に記載のリチウム二次電池。
