Abstract
【解決手段】下記の(A)〜(C)成分を含有し、その(A)成分と(B)成分との含有割合が、重量比で、(A)/(B)=95/5〜45/55である耐熱ホース用アクリル系ゴム組成物を用い、耐熱ホースの最内層を形成する。
(A)エチレンアクリルゴム(AEM)。
(B)(A)成分を除くアクリルゴム(ACM)。
(C)ヨウ素吸着量(mg/g)×DBP吸収量(cm3/100g)の値が1500〜7200の、カーボンブラック。

(A)エチレンアクリルゴム(AEM)。
(B)(A)成分を除くアクリルゴム(ACM)。
(C)ヨウ素吸着量(mg/g)×DBP吸収量(cm3/100g)の値が1500〜7200の、カーボンブラック。

(C)ヨウ素吸着量(mg/g)×DBP吸収量(cm3/100g)の値が1500〜7200の、カーボンブラック。
上記A成分のエチレンアクリルゴム(AEM)は、(メタ)アクリルモノマーの1種または2種以上を主成分とし、これにエチレンモノマーを導入したものである。また、上記B成分のアクリルゴム(ACM)は、上記A成分を除くものであるから、エチレンモノマーを導入せず、あるいは特性に影響を与えない程度に導入(すなわち、5重量%未満で導入)した、(メタ)アクリルモノマーの1種または2種以上を主成分とするものである。なお、本発明において、(メタ)アクリルモノマーとは、アクリルモノマーあるいはメタクリルモノマーを意味する。
本発明の耐熱ホース用アクリル系ゴム組成物に用いられるカーボンブラックには、ヨウ素吸着量(mg/g)×DBP吸収量(cm3/100g)の値が1500〜7200のカーボンブラックが用いられる。好ましくは、ヨウ素吸着量(mg/g)×DBP吸収量(cm3/100g)の値が1700〜4000のカーボンブラックが用いられる。すなわち、ヨウ素吸着量×DBP吸収量の値が大きすぎると、所望の高電気抵抗性を得ることができず、ホース破壊やホース口金に錆を発生させるおそれがあるからであり、逆に小さすぎると、ホース内周面に凹凸状の気泡痕(アバタ)が発生し、ゴム層の成形加工性の面で劣るようになるからである。

上記各成分を後記の表1および表2に示す割合で配合し、5Lニーダーを用いて混練することにより、アクリル系ゴム組成物を調製した。
ゴムホースを任意の箇所で切り出して得られた直方体状のサンプル対し、そのサンプル表面の体積抵抗率ρv(Ω・cm)を、二重リング電極法(JIS K6271)に基づき測定した。
ゴムホース内周面を目視観察し、その内周面に気泡痕(アバタ)がみられなかったものを○、気泡痕(アバタ)がみられたものを×と評価した。
ゴムホースを任意の箇所でカットし、そのカット面を目視観察した結果、発泡による気泡が確認されなかったものを○、発泡による気泡が確認されたものを×と評価した。
ゴムホースにアルミパイプを挿入し、塩水噴霧試験法(JIS Z2371)に基づいた塩水噴霧を168時間施した後、ゴムホース内周面と接触したアルミパイプ表面において、赤錆がみられなかったものを○、赤錆がみられたものを×と評価した。
Claims (4)
- 下記の(A)〜(C)成分を含有し、その(A)成分と(B)成分との含有割合が、重量比で、(A)/(B)=95/5〜45/55であることを特徴とする耐熱ホース用アクリル系ゴム組成物。
(A)エチレンアクリルゴム(AEM)。
(B)(A)成分を除くアクリルゴム(ACM)。
(C)ヨウ素吸着量(mg/g)×DBP吸収量(cm3/100g)の値が1500〜7200の、カーボンブラック。 - 上記(C)成分の含有量が、(A)成分と(B)成分との含有量の合計100重量部に対して40〜90重量部である、請求項1記載の耐熱ホース用アクリル系ゴム組成物。
- 少なくとも1つの構成層を備えた耐熱ホースであって、その最内層が、請求項1または2記載のアクリル系ゴム組成物からなることを特徴とする耐熱ホース。
- 請求項3記載の耐熱ホースの製法であって、マンドレル上に、請求項1または2記載のアクリル系ゴム組成物をホース状に押出成形する工程と、上記押出成形された未加硫ゴムホースを加圧スチームにより加硫させる工程と、加硫成形されたゴムホースをマンドレルから抜き取る工程とを備えていることを特徴とする耐熱ホースの製法。
