Abstract
オフセット枚葉印刷において、印刷物表面に裏付きやブロッキング防止する手段として印刷物表面にパウダーを噴霧する方法が長い間使われてきたが、その量が多すぎても機械に堆積した粉の塊が印刷物に落ちるトラブルを招いたり、それを懸念して噴霧量を少なくしてしまうとトラブルを誘発してしまう。本発明では、樹脂粒子(A)を酸化重合型平版印刷インキに含有させることで、印刷物表面にパウダーを噴霧することなく印刷物の裏付きやブロッキングを防止できる印刷インキ組成物を提供する。
【解決手段】
樹脂粒子(A)、バインダー樹脂(B)、植物油類(C)および石油系溶剤(D)を含有する平版印刷インキ組成物において、樹脂粒子(A)が、ベンゾグアナミン(a1)および/またはメラミン(a2)と、およびホルムアルデヒド(a3)とを縮合重合して得られる樹脂粒子であることを特徴とする平版印刷インキ組成物。

Description
しかし、いずれのインキも印刷機の改造が必要になったり、材料コストやランニングコストも高く、また色再現性や光沢などの面でも印刷品質は劣っているのが実情である。
特許文献4には、インキ用添加剤として高性能なポリエチレン系ワックス及びその使用方法が開示されている。
特許文献5には、こすれ汚れ防止などを可能にするコート剤および作業性が良好な印刷物が開示されている。
しかしながら、いずれの文献においてもパウダーを散布しない方式は開示されておらず、一般的なパウダーを散布する枚葉印刷方式が前提となっていることが条件であり、その中でこすれ防止やブロッキング性の向上はあっても、パウダー散布を必要としない状況には至っていない。

樹脂粒子(A2):エポスターM05(日本触媒社製)、平均粒子径5.7(μm)

樹脂粒子(A5):エポスターS12(日本触媒社製)、平均粒子径2.0(μm)
実施例1〜12および比較例1〜3で得られた平版印刷インキ組成物を用いてオフセット枚葉印刷機で、おもて面を以下の条件でパウダーを散布することなく印刷した。この時の印刷機へのブランケットパイリング状態を目視にて評価した。その後紙面上の平版印刷インキ組成物を完全に乾燥させる為に一晩以上放置し裏返して同機にて印刷した。裏面への印刷前に裏付き状態を目視にて評価を行った。裏面印刷後に圧胴へのインキ組成物の付着を目視にて評価した。印刷物の4色重ね部分の光沢値を、村上色彩研究所製光沢計GM−26Dにて評価した。同4色重ね部分同士が接触するようにし、温度40℃湿度50%の恒温恒湿室で1kg/cm2の荷重で24時間静置した後、印刷物を引き剥がしたブロッキング状態を評価した。なお、全ての評価結果を表2,3に示す。

Claims (3)
- 樹脂粒子(A)、バインダー樹脂(B)、植物油類(C)および石油系溶剤(D)を含有する平版印刷インキ組成物。
ただし、樹脂粒子(A)は、ベンゾグアナミン(a1)および/またはメラミン(a2)と、ホルムアルデヒド(a3)とを縮合重合して得られる樹脂粒子である。 - 樹脂粒子(A)の平均粒径が2〜20μmであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の平版印刷インキ組成物。
- 請求項1または2記載の平版印刷インキ組成物を基材に印刷してなる印刷物。
