Abstract
【解決手段】自動二輪車10の液晶表示装置28は、液晶パネル78及びバックライト光源116を制御する表示装置制御手段114を有する。表示装置制御手段114は、自動二輪車10に備わる操作子に対して運転者による操作入力がなかった場合には、バックライト光源116の出力を下げた状態である低出力状態にして、液晶パネル78の明るさを低下させる減光表示を行う。また、バックライト光源116の出力が低出力状態のときに、運転者が操作子を操作した場合には、バックライト光源116の出力を復帰させる。

- 液晶パネル(78)と、該液晶パネル(78)の表示面(118)の裏側に配置されるバックライト光源(116)とを備えた液晶表示装置(28)を有する鞍乗型車両(10)において、
前記鞍乗型車両(10)は、前記液晶パネル(78)及び前記バックライト光源(116)を制御する液晶表示装置制御手段(114)をさらに有し、
前記液晶表示装置制御手段(114)は、
少なくとも所定時間の間、前記鞍乗型車両(10)に備わる所定の操作子(24R、44、81、86、88、90、92、99、107)に対して操作入力がなかった場合には、前記バックライト光源(116)の出力を下げた状態である低出力状態とし、
前記バックライト光源(116)の出力が低出力状態のときに、前記所定の操作子(24R、44、81、86、88、90、92、99、107)に対して操作入力があった際には、前記バックライト光源(116)の出力を復帰させ、
前記所定の操作子(24R、44、81、86、88、90、92、99、107)は、前記鞍乗型車両(10)の運転の際に使用される操作子である
ことを特徴とする鞍乗型車両(10)。 - 請求項1記載の鞍乗型車両(10)において、
前記所定の操作子(24R、81、86、88、90、92、99、107)は、前記液晶パネル(78)の表示面(118)での表示内容に直接関係する操作子である
ことを特徴とする鞍乗型車両(10)。 - 請求項1又は2記載の鞍乗型車両(10)において、
前記鞍乗型車両(10)は、加速度センサ(104)をさらに有し、
前記液晶表示装置制御手段(114)は、前記バックライト光源(116)の出力が低出力状態のときに、所定値以上の加速度変化が前記加速度センサ(104)に入力された際には、前記バックライト光源(116)の出力を復帰させる
ことを特徴とする鞍乗型車両(10)。 - 請求項3記載の鞍乗型車両(10)において、
前記液晶表示装置制御手段(114)は、前記バックライト光源(116)の出力が低出力状態のときに、前記加速度センサ(104)が少なくとも前記鞍乗型車両(10)の左右方向の加速度又はロール軸方向の回転加速度を検知した際には、前記バックライト光源(116)の出力を復帰させる
ことを特徴とする鞍乗型車両(10)。 - 請求項4記載の鞍乗型車両(10)において、
前記鞍乗型車両(10)は、車幅方向に指向する主軸(30)を備える原動機(32)をさらに有する
ことを特徴とする鞍乗型車両(10)。 - 請求項3〜5のいずれか1項に記載の鞍乗型車両(10)において、
前記加速度センサ(104)は、前記鞍乗型車両(10)の盗難防止又はスリップ率制御に用いられる加速度センサである
