Abstract
Description
(A)溶融指数(300℃、1.2kg)が22g/10分以上のポリカーボネート50〜75重量%と;
(B)ゴム変性スチレン系グラフト共重合体3〜15重量%と;
(C)芳香族ビニル化合物とビニルシアン化合物の塊状共重合体3〜10重量%と;
(D)エチレンアクリレート系共重合体1〜10重量%と;
(E)ガラス繊維10〜25重量%と;
(F)芳香族リン酸エステル系化合物5〜20重量%と;を含むガラス繊維強化ポリカーボネート難燃性樹脂組成物を提供する。
ポリカーボネートは、ビスフェノールAの重合体であって、溶融指数が22g/10分以上、或いは、22g/10分〜80g/10分である。22g/10分未満の場合には加工性に問題が生じ得る。
ゴム変性スチレン系グラフト共重合体は、共役ジエン系ゴム重合体に芳香族ビニル化合物とビニルシアン化合物がグラフトされたものであって、前記共役ジエン系ゴム重合体は、まず、平均粒径が比較的小さい小口径のゴム重合体を製造し、これを、酸(acid)融着によって平均粒径が比較的大きい大口径のゴム重合体を製造する方法を使用して製造することができる。
芳香族ビニル化合物とビニルシアン化合物の塊状共重合体は、当業界で通常使用される塊状重合条件を用いて製造することができ、具体的には、芳香族ビニル化合物20〜90重量%或いは40〜80重量%、及びビニルシアン化合物10〜80重量%或いは20〜60重量%を連続塊状重合の方法を使用して製造される。
エチレンアクリレート系共重合体は、プラスチックの靭性を強化させ、流動性向上の特性を付加的に有するもので、一例として、エチレンアクリレート共重合体またはエチレンメタクリレート共重合体を使用することができる。前記共重合体内に(メタ)アクリレート系単量体を15〜50重量%、或いは20〜40重量%含むことができる。ここで、前記(メタ)アクリレート系単量体が15重量%未満である場合には、エチレンの含量が高いため、ポリカーボネートとの相溶性に問題があり、50重量%を超える場合には、エチレンの含量が低すぎるため、衝撃補強の効果が低下することがある。
ガラス繊維は、ポリカーボネート樹脂組成物の剛性の補完のために添加することができ、高分子間に非常に強い結合力を維持して剛性を向上させ、プラスチック成形時に収縮を最小化させることができる。一例として、長さが2〜5μm、2〜4μm、或いは略3μmであり、直径が1〜100μm、1〜50μm、10〜30μm、或いは10〜13μmであるガラス繊維を使用することができる。
芳香族リン酸エステル系化合物は、難燃性を付与する役割を果たすもので、液状または粉末状であってもよい。一例として、芳香族モノホスフェート系、芳香族ジホスフェート系、または芳香族トリホスフェート系化合物を使用することができる。
下記表1に提示した各成分を含量比によって、250℃、二軸押出機で溶融/混練し、ペレットを製造した後、射出機を用いて物性測定のための試片を作製し、各試片を前記試験方法によって試験した後、その結果を表1に共に整理した。

(F)芳香族リン酸エステル系化合物5〜20重量%と、を含む、ガラス繊維強化ポリカーボネート難燃性樹脂組成物。 - 前記ゴム変性スチレン系グラフト共重合体は、共役ジエン系ゴム重合体に前記芳香族ビニル化合物と前記ビニルシアン化合物をグラフトさせることにより得られたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のガラス繊維強化ポリカーボネート難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記芳香族ビニル化合物と前記ビニルシアン化合物の前記塊状共重合体は、前記芳香族ビニル化合物20〜90重量%及び前記ビニルシアン化合物10〜80重量%を連続塊状重合することにより得られたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のガラス繊維強化ポリカーボネート難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記芳香族ビニル化合物は、スチレン、α−メチルスチレン、パラ−メチルスチレン、o−エチルスチレン、パラ−エチルスチレン、及びビニルトルエンの中から選択された1種以上を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のガラス繊維強化ポリカーボネート難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記ビニルシアン化合物は、アクリロニトリル、メタクリロニトリル、及びエタクリロニトリルの中から選択された1種以上を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のガラス繊維強化ポリカーボネート難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記エチレンアクリレート系共重合体は、(メタ)アクリレート系単量体を15〜50重量%含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のガラス繊維強化ポリカーボネート難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記ガラス繊維は、長さが2〜5μmで、直径が1〜100μmである切断された(Chop)ガラス繊維であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のガラス繊維強化ポリカーボネート難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記芳香族リン酸エステル系化合物は、トリフェニルホスフェート、トリクレシルホスフェート、トリキシレニルホスフェート、クレシルジフェニルホスフェート、オクチルジフェニルホスフェート、ビスフェノールAジホスフェート、及び下記の化学式1の構造を有する芳香族ジホスフェートの中から選択された1種以上を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のガラス繊維強化ポリカーボネート難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記組成物は、大型の電子製品及び電気製品のハウジングに適用されるガラス繊維強化樹脂を提供することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のガラス繊維強化ポリカーボネート難燃性樹脂組成物。
