Abstract
Description
以下では、本発明を詳細に説明する。
本発明の一具体例に係るポリカーボネート樹脂としては、通常の熱可塑性樹脂組成物に使用されるポリカーボネート樹脂を使用できる。例えば、ジフェノール類(芳香族ジオール化合物)をホスゲン、ハロゲンホルメート、炭酸ジエステルなどの前駆体と反応させることによって製造される芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂を使用してもよい。
本発明の第1ゴム変性ビニル系グラフト共重合体は、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の耐衝撃性などを向上できるものであって、ゴム質重合体に芳香族ビニル系単量体およびシアン化ビニル系単量体を含む単量体混合物がグラフト重合されたグラフト共重合体である。例えば、前記第1ゴム変性ビニル系グラフト共重合体は、ゴム質重合体に芳香族ビニル系単量体およびシアン化ビニル系単量体を含む単量体混合物をグラフト重合して得ることができ、必要に応じて、上記単量体混合物に加工性および耐熱性を付与する単量体をさらに含ませてグラフト重合してもよい。上記重合は、乳化重合、懸濁重合などの公知の重合方法によって行われ得る。また、前記第1ゴム変性ビニル系グラフト共重合体は、コア(ゴム質重合体)−シェル(単量体混合物の共重合体)構造を形成することができる。
本発明の第2ゴム変性ビニル系グラフト共重合体は、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の耐衝撃性、外観特性などを向上できるものであって、ゴム質重合体にアルキル(メタ)アクリレート系単量体、またはアルキル(メタ)アクリレート系単量体および芳香族ビニル系単量体がグラフト重合されたグラフト共重合体である。例えば、前記第2ゴム変性ビニル系グラフト共重合体は、ゴム質重合体にアルキル(メタ)アクリレート系単量体、またはアルキル(メタ)アクリレート系単量体および芳香族ビニル系単量体を含む単量体混合物をグラフト重合して得ることができる。上記重合は、乳化重合、懸濁重合などの公知の重合方法によって行われ得る。また、前記第2ゴム変性ビニル系グラフト共重合体は、コア(ゴム質重合体)−シェル(アルキル(メタ)アクリレート系単量体または単量体混合物の重合体)構造を形成することができる。
本発明の一具体例に係るリン系難燃剤は、通常の熱可塑性樹脂組成物に使用されるリン系難燃剤であってもよい。例えば、リン系難燃剤としては、ホスフェート化合物、ホスホネート化合物、ホスフィネート化合物、ホスフィンオキシド化合物、ホスファゼン化合物、これらの金属塩などのリン系難燃剤を使用してもよい。これらは、単独で使用してもよく、2種以上を混合して使用してもよい。
本発明の一具体例に係るカプセル化されたフッ素重合体は、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の薄膜難燃性、5V難燃性などを向上できるものであって、カプセル化されたフッ素重合体としては、TSANと知られているスチレンおよびアクリロニトリルの重合体(SAN)でカプセル化されたポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)などを使用してもよい。
以下では、実施例および比較例で使用された各成分の仕様を説明する。
(A1)重量平均分子量(Mw)が18,000g/molであるビスフェノール−A型ポリカーボネート樹脂を使用した。
45重量%のブタジエンゴム(平均粒径:310nm)に55重量%のスチレンおよびアクリロニトリル(重量比:75/25)がグラフト重合されたg−ABSを使用した。
ブタジエン/エチルアクリレートゴム(コア、平均粒径:310nm)にメチルメタクリレートがグラフト重合されることによってシェルを形成したコア−シェル構造のゴム変性ビニル系グラフト共重合体(製造社:呉羽化学工業株式会社、製品名:EXL−2602)を使用した。
ヒドロキノンビス(ジフェニルホスフェート)(製造社:ICL−IP、製品名:Sol−DP)を使用した。
スチレンおよびアクリロニトリルの重合体(SAN)でカプセル化されたポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)であるTSAN(製造社:Hannanotech Co.,Ltd.、製品名:FS−200)を使用した。
ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE、メーカー:旭硝子株式会社、製品名:G350)を使用した。
上記各構成成分を下記の表1に記載した含有量で添加した後、230℃で押出しを行うことによってペレットを製造した。押出しは、L/D=36、直径45mmである二軸押出機を用いて行い、製造されたペレットは、80℃で2時間以上乾燥した後、6Oz射出機(成形温度:230℃、金型温度:60℃)で射出することによって試験片を製造した。製造された試験片に対して下記の方法で物性を評価し、その結果を下記の表1に示した。
(1)耐衝撃性評価:ASTM D256に基づいて、1/8”厚の試験片のノッチ付きアイゾット衝撃強度(単位:kgf・cm/cm)を測定した。
Claims (12)
- ポリカーボネート樹脂約100重量部;
ゴム質重合体に芳香族ビニル系単量体およびシアン化ビニル系単量体を含む単量体混合物がグラフト重合された第1ゴム変性ビニル系グラフト共重合体約1重量部〜約10重量部;
ゴム質重合体にアルキル(メタ)アクリレート系単量体がグラフト重合された第2ゴム変性ビニル系グラフト共重合体約1重量部〜約10重量部;
リン系難燃剤約1重量部〜約30重量部;ならびに
カプセル化されたフッ素重合体約0.1重量部〜約5重量部;を含むことを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂組成物。 - 前記第1ゴム変性ビニル系グラフト共重合体と第2ゴム変性ビニル系グラフト共重合体の重量比は、約1:約1〜約1:約3であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記第2ゴム変性ビニル系グラフト共重合体は、前記ゴム質重合体に前記アルキル(メタ)アクリレート系単量体および芳香族ビニル系単量体を含む単量体混合物がグラフト重合されたものであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記リン系難燃剤は、ホスフェート化合物、ホスホネート化合物、ホスフィネート化合物、ホスフィンオキシド化合物、およびホスファゼン化合物のうち1種以上を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記リン系難燃剤は、ヒドロキノンビス(ジフェニルホスフェート)であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記カプセル化されたフッ素重合体は、スチレンおよびアクリロニトリルの重合体でカプセル化されたポリテトラフルオロエチレンであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、ASTM D256に基づいて測定した1/8”厚の試験片のノッチ付きアイゾット衝撃強度が約45kgf・cm/cm〜約80kgf・cm/cmであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、UL−94垂直試験方法で測定した1.2mm厚の試験片の難燃度がV−0以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、UL−94垂直試験方法で測定した2.5mm厚の試験片の難燃度が5VAであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、ISO R306に基づいて5kgの荷重、50℃/hrの条件で測定したビカット軟化温度が約90℃〜約120℃であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、ASTM D1238に規定された評価方法に基づいて220℃、10kgfの条件で測定したメルトフローインデックス(MI)が約20g/10分〜約50g/10分であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれか1項による熱可塑性樹脂組成物から形成されることを特徴とする成形品。
