Abstract
【解決手段】雌端子11は、雄端子13を受容する筒状の端子接触部15が、底板35と、底板35の端子幅方向の両端からそれぞれ立ち上がる第1側板37及び第2側板41と、第1側板37に連続して折り曲げ加工された天板39と、天板39の端子長手方向の一端側を弾性片折曲部47として天板39に重ねて折り曲げ加工された弾性片19と、弾性片19の端子幅方向Wの折曲先端側縁部における端子長手方向Lの両端側に突設された一対の係止突起43と、係止突起43に対応して第1側板37に穿設された一対の係止孔45と、を備え、係止突起43が、それぞれ係止孔45に係止される。

Description
図6に示すように、雌端子501は、筒状の雄端子接続部(端子接触部)503が、底板505と、この底板505の一方側の一端側を折曲部507として底板505に重ねて折り曲げ加工されたばね片509と、底板505の他方側に連続して折り曲げ加工された第1側板511と、この第1側板511に連続して折り曲げ加工された天板513と、天板513に連続して折り曲げ加工された第2側板515とにより構成される。ばね片509の基部には位置調整リブ517が設けられ、第1側板511に位置調整リブ517と係合する切欠519が形成される。
(1) 雄端子を受容する筒状の端子接触部が、底板と、前記底板の端子幅方向の両端からそれぞれ立ち上がる第1側板及び第2側板と、前記第1側板に連続して折り曲げ加工された天板と、前記天板の端子長手方向の一端側を弾性片折曲部として前記天板に重ねて折り曲げ加工された弾性片と、前記弾性片の端子幅方向の折曲先端側縁部における端子長手方向の両端側に突設された一対の係止突起と、前記係止突起に対応して前記第1側板に穿設された一対の係止孔と、を備え、前記係止突起が、それぞれ前記係止孔に係止されることを特徴とする雌端子。
図1に示すように、本発明の一実施形態に係る雌端子11は、接続相手となる雄端子13と接触する端子接触部15を有する。端子接触部15の内方は、雄端子13を受容する雄端子受容部17となる。雄端子受容部17の内部には、雄端子13と弾性的に接触して電気接続状態を得るための弾性片19が内蔵される(図2、図3参照)。弾性片19は、片持ち状態に支持されて弾性付勢力を発揮し、自由端側が山形形状に形成されて雄端子13との接触部となっている。
雌端子11は、1枚の導電性を有する金属板21を折り曲げ加工することにより形成される。先ず、導電性の金属板21が、組み立てたときに図1に示す雌端子11の形状となるように図2に示す所定の形状に打ち抜かれる。金属板21は、弾性片19、天板39、第1側板37、底板35、第2側板41、形状保持部59と連続して展開されており、各部分の境界部が折曲部となっている。
本実施形態に係る雌端子11では、図4(a)に示すように、弾性片19に天板39側から離反方向の力が作用し、天板39から弾性片19が所定距離以上離反しようとすると、弾性片19は、折曲先端側縁部51に突設された係止突起43が係止孔45に当たり、その移動が規制される。これにより、弾性片19は、端子長手方向の両端側に設けられた一対の係止突起43によって位置規制がなされ、正規の接触荷重が得られなくなる過剰な変位(暴れ)が阻止される。その結果、弾性片19は、正規の位置で確実に位置決めされ、折り曲げ成形時や、雄端子13の挿入時の端子接触部15内における暴れが防止されて安定接触荷重が確保可能となる。
なお、本発明は、上述した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、適宜、変形、改良、等が可能である。その他、上述した実施形態における各構成要素の材質、形状、寸法、数、配置箇所、等は本発明を達成できるものであれば任意であり、限定されない。

Claims (2)
- 雄端子を受容する筒状の端子接触部が、
底板と、
前記底板の端子幅方向の両端からそれぞれ立ち上がる第1側板及び第2側板と、
前記第1側板に連続して折り曲げ加工された天板と、
前記天板の端子長手方向の一端側を弾性片折曲部として前記天板に重ねて折り曲げ加工された弾性片と、
前記弾性片の端子幅方向の折曲先端側縁部における端子長手方向の両端側に突設された一対の係止突起と、
前記係止突起に対応して前記第1側板に穿設された一対の係止孔と、を備え、
前記係止突起が、それぞれ前記係止孔に係止されることを特徴とする雌端子。 - 前記係止突起が前記係止孔に挿入される挿入長よりも小さいクリアランスが、少なくとも前記第2側板と前記弾性片との間に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の雌端子。
