Abstract
【解決手段】保持器付き針状ころの保持器14は径Dに対して幅Bを大きくし、保持器の柱部18は、軸方向の中央部にころピッチ円径PCDよりも内径側のころ止め18aを有し、軸方向の両端部にころピッチ円径PCDよりも外径側のころ止め18bを有し、内径側のころ止め18aと外径側のころ止め18bは斜行部18cを介して連続し、斜行部18cに針状ころ12との干渉を避けるための第一のぬすみ22が形成してあり、隣り合った柱部18間に矩形状のポケット20が形成され、ポケット20の四隅に第二のぬすみ24が形成され、第二のぬすみ24はポケット20の短辺を円周方向に延長した位置から外径側のころ止め18bの外端まで、保持器軸方向に延在している。

Description
柱部18は、軸方向の中央部にころピッチ円径PCDよりも内径側のころ止め18aを有し、軸方向の両端部にころピッチ円径PCDよりも外径側のころ止め18bを有し、これらの内径側のころ止め18aと外径側のころ止め18bは斜行部18cを介して連続している。斜行部18cには針状ころ12との干渉を避けるための第一のぬすみ22が形成してある。
隣り合った柱部18間に針状ころ12を収容するためのポケット20が形成され、各ポケット20は短辺が環状部16と平行な矩形状で、各ポケット20の四隅に柱部18を部分的に切り欠くことにより第二のぬすみ24が形成してある。第二のぬすみ24は、ポケット20の短辺を円周方向に延長した位置から外径側のころ止め18bの外端まで、保持器軸方向に延在している。
図1(B)b寸法(斜線部)領域は外径案内面となる。また、第一のぬすみ22の外端は外径側のころ止め18bの内端に相当する。ここで、外端とは保持器の軸方向における端面側の端を意味し、内端とは保持器の軸方向における反端面側の端を意味する。したがって、第二のぬすみ24の軸方向寸法L2を変更することにより、外径側のころ止め18bの外端の位置が変わり、それゆえにまた外径側のころ止め18bの軸方向寸法が変わる。
(a)素材として、成形性の良好なSPC等の冷間圧延鋼板をスリッターで所定幅にせん断した帯状鋼材を使用する。
(b)帯状鋼材にプレス加工を施して保持器の基本断面形状(M形またはV形)を形成する。
(c)帯状鋼材の長さ方向に所定ピッチでポケットを打ち抜き形成する。その後、両端に溶接代を考慮して所定の長さに帯状鋼材を切断する。
(d)帯状鋼材を環状に曲げる。
(e)両端部を突き合わせ溶接して製品を得る。
このようにして得られた製品たる保持器に軟窒化処理あるいは浸炭焼入れ等の熱処理を施し、溶接によって生じたひずみを除去するとともに、保持器の表面に硬化層を形成し、耐摩耗性および機械的強度を向上させる。

Claims (6)
- 単列に配置した多数の針状ころと保持器とからなる保持器付き針状ころにおいて、
前記保持器は、径に対して幅寸法が大きく、軸方向に離間した一対の環状部と、軸方向に延在して前記環状部どうしを連結する複数の柱部とを有し、
前記柱部は、軸方向の中央部にころピッチ円径よりも内径側のころ止めを有し、軸方向の両端部にころピッチ円径よりも外径側のころ止めを有し、前記内径側のころ止めと前記外径側のころ止めは斜行部を介して連続し、前記斜行部に前記針状ころとの干渉を避けるための第一のぬすみが形成してあり、
隣り合った前記柱部間に前記針状ころを収容するためのポケットが形成され、各ポケットは短辺が前記環状部と平行な矩形状で、前記ポケットの四隅に前記柱部を部分的に切り欠くことにより第二のぬすみが形成してあり、前記第二のぬすみは、前記ポケットの短辺を円周方向に延長した位置から前記外径側のころ止めの外端まで、保持器軸方向に延在している、
保持器付き針状ころ。 - 前記保持器の断面形状はM形またはV形である請求項1の保持器付き針状ころ。
- 前記第二のぬすみの軸方向寸法を前記ポケットの短辺から外径側のころ止めの内端までの軸方向寸法の40%以上70%以下とした請求項1または2の保持器付き針状ころ。
- 前記保持器の外径案内面の軸方向寸法を前記保持器の総幅の35%以上60%以下とした請求項1、2、または3の保持器付き針状ころ。
- 前記針状ころは端面が丸面である請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項の保持器付き針状ころ。
- 遊星歯車機構におけるピニオンの支持用である請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項の保持器付き針状ころ。
