【解決手段】本発明の電池用粘着テープは、基材の少なくとも一方の面に粘着剤層を積層して得られる粘着テープであって、前記粘着剤層が基材の両側端縁部から0.5mm以上内側に積層されていること、前記粘着テープの23℃における180°引き剥がし粘着力が0.1N/10mm以上であること、及び前記粘着テープの粘着剤層面をベークライト板に貼付(貼付面積:10mm×20mm)し、40℃において、500gの荷重を1時間かけた後のズレ距離が0.2mm以下であることを特徴とする。

Description
本発明における粘着剤層を形成する粘着剤に含有するポリマー成分としては、特に限定されることがなく、例えば、ゴム系ポリマー、アクリル系ポリマー、シリコーン系ポリマー等の公知のポリマーを挙げることができる。
基材としては、特に限定されず、各種基材を用いることが可能であり、例えば、布、不織布、フェルト、ネット等の繊維系基材;各種の紙等の紙系基材;金属箔、金属板等の金属系基材;各種樹脂によるフィルムやシート等のプラスチック系基材;ゴムシート等のゴム系基材;発泡シート等の発泡体や、これらの積層体等の適宜な薄葉体を用いることができる。上記プラスチック系基材の材質又は素材としては、例えば、ポリエステル(ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンナフタレート等)、ポリオレフィン(ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、エチレン−プロピレン共重合体等)、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリ塩化ビニリデン、ポリ塩化ビニル、塩化ビニル−酢酸ビニル共重合体、ポリ酢酸ビニル、ポリアミド、ポリイミド、セルロース類、フッ素系樹脂、ポリエーテル、ポリエーテルアミド、ポリフェニレンサルファイド、ポリスチレン系樹脂(ポリスチレン等)、ポリカーボネート、ポリエーテルスルホン等が挙げられる。これらは単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。また、基材は単層の形態を有していてもよく、また、複層の形態を有していてもよい。
本発明に係る電池用粘着テープは、基材の少なくとも一方の面に粘着剤層を積層して得られる粘着テープであって、上記粘着剤層が、基材の両側端縁部から0.5mm以上(例えば、0.5〜10mm程度、好ましくは1〜7mm程度、特に好ましくは3〜6mm程度)内側に積層されていることを特徴し、基材に粘着剤層が、該基材両側端縁部に0.5mm幅以上(例えば0.5〜10mm幅程度、好ましくは1〜7mm幅程度、特に好ましくは3〜6mm幅程度)の粘着剤層非積層部分(粘着剤層非塗布領域)を形成して積層(塗布)されている。それにより、本発明に係る電池用粘着テープは、接着性と糊のはみ出し防止性とを兼ね備えることができる。粘着剤層非積層部分の幅が上記範囲を下回ると、糊のはみ出しを防止することが困難となる。
アクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル/アクリル酸(100重量部/5重量部)を構成モノマーとするアクリル系ポリマー100重量部に、イソシアネート系架橋剤(商品名「コロネートL」、日本ポリウレタン(株)製)を2重量部添加し、トルエンで希釈して粘着剤(1)を得た。
得られた粘着剤(1)を、厚さ20μmの二軸延伸ポリプロピレンフィルム(OPP)上の両側端縁部から0.5mm内側に、乾燥後の厚みが15μmとなるように塗布、乾燥して、粘着テープ(1)を得た。
粘着剤層の乾燥後の厚みを15μmから2μmへ変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(2)を得た。
粘着剤層の乾燥後の厚みを15μmから45μmへ変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(3)を得た。
イソシアネート系架橋剤(商品名「コロネートL」、日本ポリウレタン(株)製)の使用量を2重量部から0.5重量部に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(4)を得た。
イソシアネート系架橋剤(商品名「コロネートL」、日本ポリウレタン(株)製)の使用量を2重量部から10重量部に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(5)を得た。
基材を厚さ20μmの二軸延伸ポリプロピレンフィルム(OPP)から、厚さ25μmのポリイミドフィルム(PI)に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(6)を得た。
アクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル/アクリル酸(100重量部/5重量部)からアクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル/アクリル酸ブチル/メタクリル酸メチル/ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート(25重量部/75重量部/5重量部/4重量部)に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(7)を得た。
アクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル/アクリル酸(100重量部/5重量部)からアクリル酸ブチル/アクリル酸(100重量部/5重量部)に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(8)を得た。
架橋剤としてイソシアネート系架橋剤(商品名「コロネートL」、日本ポリウレタン(株)製)を2重量部と、エポキシ系架橋剤(商品名「TETRAD−C」、三菱瓦斯化学(株)製)0.05重量部を添加した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(9)を得た。
粘着剤層の乾燥後の厚みを15μmから60μmへ変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(10)を得た。
粘着剤層の乾燥後の厚みを15μmから25μmへ変更した以外は実施例4と同様にして粘着テープ(11)を得た。
イソシアネート系架橋剤(商品名「コロネートL」、日本ポリウレタン(株)製)を使用しなかった以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(12)を得た。
粘着剤層を基材全面に設けた以外は実施例2と同様にして粘着テープ(13)を得た。
粘着剤層の乾燥後の厚みを15μmから0.5μmへ変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(14)を得た。
イソシアネート系架橋剤(商品名「コロネートL」、日本ポリウレタン(株)製)の使用量を2重量部から15重量部に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(15)を得た。
金属SUS板に、ヒートプレス機(商品名「TP−701−B ヒートシールテスター上下温調TYPE」、テスター産業(株)製)を用いて、下記条件にて実施例及び比較例で得られた粘着テープの圧着を行い、光学顕微鏡(商品名「デジタルマイクロスコープ VHX−100」、キーエンス(株)製)を用いて、粘着テープ端部から糊のはみ出しの有無を観察し、糊のはみ出し防止性を下記基準で評価した。

温度:150℃
圧力:0.5MPa
圧縮時間:3分間
(糊のはみ出し防止性評価基準)
糊のはみ出しがない場合:「○」
糊のはみ出しがある場合:「×」
また、糊のはみ出しがある場合は、はみ出し距離を測定し、その最大値を糊のはみ出し距離(mm)とした。
実施例及び比較例で得られた粘着テープの保持力を、クリープ試験機(商品名「テープクリープ試験機」、今田製作所(株)製)を用い、下記条件でズレ距離(mm)を測定することにより評価した。ズレ距離が少ないほどせん断保持力が優れていることを示す。
測定条件(JIS Z 0237準拠)
温度:40℃
荷重:500gf
保持面積:幅10mm×長さ20mm
実施例及び比較例で得られた粘着テープ(幅10mm)の粘着力を下記条件で測定した。
測定条件(JIS Z 0237:2000準拠)
貼付条件:2kgローラーで1往復圧着後、室温で30分放置
測定環境:貼付後、室温にて測定
剥離角度:180°
剥離速度:300mm/分

Claims (7)
- 基材の少なくとも一方の面に粘着剤層を積層して得られる粘着テープであって、前記粘着剤層が基材の両側端縁部から0.5mm以上内側に積層されていること、前記粘着テープの23℃における180°引き剥がし粘着力が0.1N/10mm以上であること、及び前記粘着テープの粘着剤層面をベークライト板に貼付(貼付面積:10mm×20mm)し、40℃において、500gの荷重を1時間かけた後のズレ距離が0.2mm以下であることを特徴とする電池用粘着テープ。
- 粘着剤層の厚みが1〜45μmである請求項1に記載の電池用粘着テープ。
- 粘着剤層を形成する粘着剤がアクリル系ポリマーを含有する請求項1または2に記載の電池用粘着テープ。
- 粘着剤層を形成する粘着剤が、更に架橋剤を含有する請求項3に記載の電池用粘着テープ。
- 架橋剤の含有量が、アクリル系ポリマー100重量部に対して0.4〜14重量部である請求項4に記載の電池用粘着テープ。
- 短絡防止用として電極端子及び/又は極板端部に貼付して使用する請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の電池用粘着テープ。
- 短絡防止用としてセパレータにおける極板端部が接触する部分に貼付して使用する請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の電池用粘着テープ。
