Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の電池用粘着テープは、基材の少なくとも一方の面に粘着剤層を積層して得られる粘着テープであって、下記に規定する粘着剤層が、基材の両側端縁部から0.5mm以上内側に積層されていることを特徴とする。
粘着剤層:ゴム成分を70重量%以上含有し、該ゴム成分の重量平均分子量が30万〜500万であり、厚みが1〜25μmである

尚、本発明において重量平均分子量は標準ポリスチレン換算重量平均分子量を使用した。

本発明における粘着剤層は、ゴム成分を70重量%以上含有する。ゴム成分の含有量が上記範囲を下回ると、粘着剤層を構成する成分が電解液へ溶出し易くなり、電解液の劣化を抑制することが困難となるため好ましくない。
基材としては、特に限定されず、各種基材を用いることが可能であり、例えば、布、不織布、フェルト、ネットなどの繊維系基材;各種の紙などの紙系基材;金属箔、金属板などの金属系基材;各種樹脂によるフィルムやシートなどのプラスチック系基材;ゴムシートなどのゴム系基材;発泡シートなどの発泡体や、これらの積層体等の適宜な薄葉体を用いることができる。上記プラスチック系基材の材質又は素材としては、例えば、ポリエステル(ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンナフタレートなど)、ポリオレフィン(ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、エチレン−プロピレン共重合体など)、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリ塩化ビニリデン、ポリ塩化ビニル、塩化ビニル−酢酸ビニル共重合体、ポリ酢酸ビニル、ポリアミド、ポリイミド、セルロース類、フッ素系樹脂、ポリエーテル、ポリエーテルアミド、ポリフェニレンサルファイド、ポリスチレン系樹脂(ポリスチレンなど)、ポリカーボネート、ポリエーテルスルホンなどが挙げられる。本発明においては、なかでも、電解液に対して分解、劣化しにくいものが好ましく、ポリイミド、ポリフェニレンサルファイド、ポリオレフィン(特に、ポリプロピレン)等のプラスチック系基材を使用することが好ましい。なお、基材は単層の形態を有していてもよく、また、複層の形態を有していてもよい。
本発明に係る電池用粘着テープは、基材の少なくとも一方の面に粘着剤層を積層して得られる粘着テープであって、上記粘着剤層が、基材の両側端縁部から0.5mm以上内側に積層されていることを特徴し、基材に粘着剤層が、該基材両側端縁部に0.5mm幅以上の粘着剤層非積層部分(粘着剤層非塗布領域)を形成して積層(塗布)されている。粘着剤層非積層部分の幅が上記範囲を下回ると、糊のはみ出しを防止することが困難となる。本発明においては、なかでも、基材の両側端縁部から0.5〜2.0mm内側に粘着剤層を積層すること、すなわち、基材両側端縁部に粘着剤層非積層部分が0.5〜2.0mm幅で形成されていることが、接着性と、糊のはみ出し防止性とを兼ね備えることができる点で好ましい。
重量平均分子量200万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB200」、BASFジャパン(株)製)100重量部をトルエンで希釈してコーティング液(1)を得た。
得られたコーティング液(1)を、厚さ30μmのポリプロピレンフィルム上の両側端縁部から0.5mm内側に、乾燥後の厚みが15μmとなるように塗布、乾燥して、粘着テープ(1)を得た。
粘着剤層の乾燥後の厚みを15μmから10μmへ変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(2)を得た。
粘着剤層の乾燥後の厚みを15μmから2μmへ変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(3)を得た。
重量平均分子量200万のポリイソブチレンゴムに代えて、重量平均分子量150万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB150」、BASFジャパン(株)製)を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(4)を得た。
重量平均分子量200万のポリイソブチレンゴムに代えて、重量平均分子量150万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB150」、BASFジャパン(株)製)を使用した以外は実施例2と同様にして粘着テープ(5)を得た。
重量平均分子量200万のポリイソブチレンゴムに代えて、重量平均分子量150万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB150」、BASFジャパン(株)製)を使用した以外は実施例3と同様にして粘着テープ(6)を得た。
重量平均分子量200万のポリイソブチレンゴムに代えて、重量平均分子量50万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB50」、BASFジャパン(株)製)を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(7)を得た。
重量平均分子量200万のポリイソブチレンゴムに代えて、重量平均分子量50万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB50」、BASFジャパン(株)製)を使用した以外は実施例2と同様にして粘着テープ(8)を得た。
重量平均分子量200万のポリイソブチレンゴムに代えて、重量平均分子量50万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB50」、BASFジャパン(株)製)を使用した以外は実施例3と同様にして粘着テープ(9)を得た。
重量平均分子量200万のポリイソブチレンゴム 100重量部に代えて、重量平均分子量100万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB100」、BASFジャパン(株)製)100重量部、重量平均分子量12万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB12SF」、BASFジャパン(株)製)30重量部を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(10)を得た。
重量平均分子量200万のポリイソブチレンゴム 100重量部に代えて、重量平均分子量100万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB100」、BASFジャパン(株)製)100重量部、重量平均分子量12万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB12SF」、BASFジャパン(株)製)30重量部を使用した以外は実施例2と同様にして粘着テープ(11)を得た。
重量平均分子量200万のポリイソブチレンゴム 100重量部に代えて、重量平均分子量100万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB100」、BASFジャパン(株)製)100重量部、重量平均分子量12万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB12SF」、BASFジャパン(株)製)30重量部を使用した以外は実施例3と同様にして粘着テープ(12)を得た。
厚さ30μmのポリプロピレンフィルムに代えて、厚さ25μmのポリイミドフィルムを使用した以外は実施例9と同様にして粘着テープ(13)を得た。
粘着剤層の乾燥後の厚みを15μmから30μmへ変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着テープ(14)を得た。
粘着剤層の乾燥後の厚みを15μmから30μmへ変更した以外は実施例7と同様にして粘着テープ(15)を得た。
重量平均分子量200万のポリイソブチレンゴムに代えて、重量平均分子量12万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB12」、BASFジャパン(株)製)を使用した以外は実施例2と同様にして粘着テープ(16)を得た。
重量平均分子量200万のポリイソブチレンゴムに代えて、重量平均分子量12万のポリイソブチレンゴム(商品名「オパノールB12」、BASFジャパン(株)製)を使用した以外は実施例3と同様にして粘着テープ(17)を得た。
粘着剤層を基材全面に設けた以外は実施例3と同様にして粘着テープ(18)を得た。
粘着剤層を基材全面に設けた以外は実施例12と同様にして粘着テープ(19)を得た。
金属SUS板にヒートプレス機(商品名「TP‐701‐B ヒートシールテスター上下温調TYPE」、テスター産業(株)製)を用いて、下記条件下にて実施例及び比較例で得られた粘着テープ(幅10mm、長さ100mm)の圧着を行い、光学顕微鏡(商品名「デジタルマイクロスコープ VHX‐100」、キーエンス(株)製)を用いて、粘着テープ端部から糊のはみ出しの有無を観察し、糊のはみ出しがない場合は「○」、糊のはみ出しがある場合は「×」と判定した。また、糊のはみ出しがある場合は、はみ出し距離を測定し、その最大値をテープの糊はみ出し距離(mm)とした。
測定条件
温度:150℃
圧力:0.5MPa
圧縮時間:3分間
実施例及び比較例で得られた粘着テープ(幅10mm、長さ100mm)の保持力を、クリープ試験機(商品名「テープクリープ試験機」、今田製作所(株)製)を用い、下記条件下でズレ距離(mm)を測定することにより評価した。ズレ距離が少ないほど保持力が優れることになる。

Claims (4)
- 基材の少なくとも一方の面に粘着剤層を積層して得られる粘着テープであって、下記に規定する粘着剤層が、基材の両側端縁部から0.5mm以上内側に積層されていることを特徴とする電池用粘着テープ。
粘着剤層:ゴム成分を70重量%以上含有し、該ゴム成分の重量平均分子量が30万〜500万であり、厚みが1〜25μmである - ゴム成分がポリイソブチレンゴムを含有する請求項1に記載の電池用粘着テープ。
- 短絡防止用として電極端子及び/又は極板端部に貼付して使用する請求項1に記載の電池用粘着テープ。
- 短絡防止用としてセパレータにおける極板端部が接触する部分に貼付して使用する請求項1に記載の電池用粘着テープ。
