Abstract
Description
炭酸エチレンおよび炭酸ジエチルの50/50(体積による)混合物中、1.0MのLiPF6溶液からなる対照電池用電解質溶液を、LiCoO2のカソード、メソカーボンマイクロビーズ(Mesocarbon Microbead(MCMB))グラファイトのアノード、およびポリオレフィンセパレータを有する2025ボタン電池に導入する。ボタン電池は比較電池Aと呼ばれる。比較電池Aについての4C放電曲線を、Maccor 4000電池試験機を用い、周囲温度で、2回のC/10サイクルと、その後の5回の4Cサイクルを用いて作成する。その試験による代表的放電曲線を、図1〜4のそれぞれにおいて、曲線「A」として示す。
電池実施例1の再現物に、100回の1C充電/放電サイクルにかける。電池の比容量を各サイクルで測定する。100回の充電/放電サイクルの終了時に、電池実施例1の比容量は、開始時の容量の約58%に低下した。
電池用電解質溶液が6重量%のAPC1を含むこと以外は、電池実施例1に関して記載したものと同じである電池(実施例10)を製造し、形成サイクル(formation cycle)にかける。次いで、電池を、1Cの速度で4.2Vまで定電流で充電し、その後、4.2Vの定電位で放電し、その間に、電流はC/10未満に低下する。電池を、短絡を生じない様に、アルゴン雰囲気下で分解する。電極を、炭酸ジエチル溶媒で洗って、残留する塩および電解質溶液を除去し、真空下に乾燥させる。ほぼ等しい重量の電極および回収した電解質溶液を、アルゴンの下で、DSCパンに充填し、密封する。この試料をDSCにかける。実施例1と同様に、材料は、約250℃まで発熱を示さず、主な発熱ピークは、約290℃に現れる。

- アノード、カソード、該アノードとカソードの間に配置されたセパレータ、ならびに該アノードおよびカソードに接触している電解質溶液を含む電池であって、該電解質溶液が請求項1から19のいずれかに記載の電池用電解質溶液である、電池。
- 2次電池である、請求項20に記載の電池。
- リチウムイオン電池、リチウム硫黄電池、リチウム金属電池、またはリチウムポリマー電池である、請求項20または21に記載の電池。
