Abstract
【解決手段】吸気弁は、可変駆動型であり、油圧手段を介して各タペットに連結され、ばね手段に抗してタペットにより油圧手段を介して作動される。油圧手段の圧力流体室は、各タペットから吸気弁への動力を切断してばね手段により吸気弁を急速に閉じるために、電磁弁を介して放出路に接続され、吸気弁(7)の開弁及び開弁期間を変更させるように電磁弁を制御する電子制御手段を備えている。カム軸のカムは、略一定のリフトのブート部分(C2)を含む弁リフトプロファイルが生成され、ブート部分(C2)は、下死点の後であって、吸気弁リフトサイクルの最終部分に設定され、電子制御手段は、高圧縮比で作動させることが必要な時に、電磁弁を開き、前記ブート部分(C2)を減少させる。

Description
ガソリン機関の参考例において、従来型機関でもすでに得ることができている前記「掃気」効果は、上述の形式の可変弁駆動系統を図4の線図形式で示されるプロファイルを有する吸気弁を制御するカムの利用と組み合わせることで得られる。図4において、プロファイルはカムの表示の左回りで示される。ここで示されるように、吸気弁リフトを生成するカムのプロファイルの部分C1は、弁リフトサイクルの初期部分において略一定のリフトのブート部分C2を有するプロファイルである。
ディーゼル機関に適用される本発明の実施形態において、吸気弁を制御するカムは図6で示される線図形式で示されるプロファイルを示し(カム軸の右回りの回転を参照)、図7で示さるタイプの吸気弁リフトプロファイルを生成する。

Claims (4)
- 吸気通路を制御する少なくとも一つの吸気弁(7)と排気通路を制御する少なくとも一つの排気弁とを各気筒に備えると共に、前記吸気弁(7)及び排気弁をそれぞれ閉位置に付勢する付勢ばね手段(9)を備え、
前記吸気弁(7)と前記排気弁とをそれぞれタペット(15)を介して作動させる少なくとも一つのカム軸を備え、
少なくとも各吸気弁(7)は、油圧手段を介して前記各タペット(15)に連結されると共に、前記付勢ばね手段(9)の付勢力に抗して各タペット(15)により前記油圧手段を介して作動される可変駆動型であり、前記油圧手段は、前記タペット(15)に連結されたポンピングピストン(16)に対向する圧力流体室(C)を含んでおり、
該圧力流体室(C)は、前記各タペット(15)から前記可変駆動型の吸気弁(7)への動力伝達を切断して前記各付勢ばね手段(9)の付勢作用により前記吸気弁(7)を急速に閉じるために、電磁弁(24)を介して放出路に接続されており、
前記内燃機関の1つ以上の作動パラメータの関数として前記可変駆動型の吸気弁(7)の開弁時期および開弁期間(リフト)を変更させるように前記各電磁弁(24)を制御する電子制御手段(25)を備えており、
各吸気弁(7)を作動させる前記カム軸のカムは、略一定のリフト(H)のブート部分(C2)を含む弁リフトプロファイルを生成するように形成されている、多気筒ディーゼル機関において、
略一定のリフト(H)の前記ブート部分(C2)は、下死点(BDC)の後であって、吸気弁リフトサイクルの最終部分に設定されており、
前記電子制御手段は、より高い圧縮比で作動させることが必要な時に、電磁弁を開くことによって、一定リフトの前記ブート部分(C2)が減少するように、電磁弁(24)を制御する、ことを特徴とする多気筒ディーゼル機関。 - 請求項1に記載の多気筒ディーゼル機関において、
前記ブート部分(C2)は、下死点(BDC)の後、駆動軸の回転角度で40°以上かつ100°以下の範囲に設定されていることを特徴とする多気筒ディーゼル機関。 - 請求項1に記載の多気筒ディーゼル機関において、
前記ブート部分(C2)の前記略一定のリフト(H)は、前記吸気弁の最大リフトの3分の1以下であることを特徴とする多気筒ディーゼル機関。 - 請求項1に記載の多気筒ディーゼル機関において、
前記ブート部分(C2)のリフト変動範囲は、0.2mm/rad以下であることを特徴とする多気筒ディーゼル機関。
