Claims (15)

  1. 反応槽にオキシ塩化ジルコニウム溶液とリン酸溶液とを同時に加えることにより、ゾルゲル沈殿によってリン酸ジルコニウム粒子を得るステップを含む、リン酸ジルコニウム粒子の作製方法。
  2. 少なくとも一個のスプレーヘッドを通して、反応槽にオキシ塩化ジルコニウム溶液を加える、請求項1に記載の方法。
  3. リン酸溶液と混合する前は、オキシ塩化ジルコニウム溶液が液滴形である、請求項2に記載の方法。
  4. 前記反応槽が撹拌器を具備する、請求項1に記載の方法。
  5. 前記撹拌器が、異なるレベルでシャフトに取り付けた複数のブレードを有するシャフトを具備する、請求項4に記載の方法。
  6. 粒径が制御されているリン酸ジルコニウム粒子の作製方法であって、
    請求項1に記載の方法によるゾルゲル沈殿によってリン酸ジルコニウム粒子を形成するステップを含み、
    該リン酸ジルコニウム粒子が、以下のパラメーター:反応槽にオキシ塩化ジルコニウム溶液を加える速度、反応槽にリン酸またはリン酸塩の溶液を加える速度、リン酸またはリン酸塩の溶液のpH、反応槽中のオキシ塩化ジルコニウムおよびリン酸もしくはリン酸塩の濃度、または撹拌器の速度、あるいはそれらの組合せ、の少なくとも一つを制御することによって得られる粒径および粒径分布を有する作製方法。
  7. 水性溶液中に水溶性ジルコニウム含有ポリマーを含む組成物であって、該ポリマーが、水性溶媒中で、ジルコニウムイオンと錯体を形成することができる少なくとも一種の含酸素添加物と、オキシ塩化ジルコニウムとを混合することによって形成される組成物。
  8. 前記含酸素添加物が、無機硫酸塩、無機炭酸塩、アルコール、カルボン酸塩、ケトン、アルデヒド、有機硫酸塩、またはそれらの組合せである、請求項7に記載の組成物。
  9. 前記含酸素添加物が、硫酸ナトリウムとグリセロールの組合せ、硫酸ナトリウムとラウリル硫酸ナトリウムの組合せ、硫酸ナトリウムと酒石酸の組合せ、または硫酸ナトリウムとN−(1,2−ジカルボキシエチル)−N−オクタデシルスルホサクシナメート四ナトリウムの組合せ、あるいはそれらの組合せである、請求項7に記載の組成物。
  10. 粒径分布の20%未満が60〜120ミクロンの範囲にあり、80%超が30〜60ミクロンの範囲にあり、かつ10%未満が30ミクロン未満の範囲にあり、
    アンモニア吸着能が15〜20mg NH4−N/ZP(gm)であり、かつ
    リン酸ジルコニウム粒子の重量に対するNa+含有量が3.8〜6.2wt%であるという特性を有するリン酸ジルコニウム粒子。
  11. アンモニア吸着能が、16〜17mg NH4−N/ZP(gm)である、請求項10に記載のリン酸ジルコニウム粒子。
  12. 請求項10に記載のリン酸ジルコニウム粒子を含むカートリッジを含む、透析カートリッジ。
  13. 前記リン酸ジルコニウム粒子が一層として存在し、前記透析カートリッジが少なくとも一層の他の吸収物質層をさらに含む、請求項12に記載の透析カートリッジ。
  14. 前記透析カートリッジが、任意の順序で、活性炭区分、固定酵素区分、粉末アルミナ区分、リン酸ジルコニウム区分、ならびに炭酸ジルコニウムナトリウム区分または酢酸塩体の含水酸化ジルコニウムと炭酸ジルコニウムナトリウムとの混合物区分を含む複数のろ過材区分を有する、請求項12に記載の透析カートリッジ。
  15. 前記透析カートリッジが、第1端から出発して第2端で終了する、活性炭区分、固定酵素区分、粉末アルミナ区分、リン酸ジルコニウム区分、ならびに炭酸ジルコニウムナトリウム区分または酢酸塩体の含水酸化ジルコニウムと炭酸ジルコニウムナトリウムとの混合物区分の配列を含む複数のろ過材区分を有する、請求項12に記載の透析カートリッジ。
