【解決手段】防水通気フィルタ1は、複数の貫通孔21が形成された樹脂フィルム2と、樹脂フィルム2の厚さ方向の両面のうちの少なくとも一方の面上に、貫通孔21と対応する位置に開口31を有するように形成された、疎水性および撥油性を有する処理層3と、樹脂フィルム2の厚さ方向の両面のうちの一方の面の周縁部に処理層3を挟んで貼着された環状の両面テープ4と、を備えている。

Description
樹脂フィルムとして、PETからなる無孔のベースシートに、イオンビーム照射およびエッチングにより直径0.4μmの貫通孔を形成した厚さ23μmのサンプルA(オキシフェン社製Oxydisk)を用いた。
樹脂フィルムとして、PETからなる無孔のベースシートに、イオンビーム照射およびエッチングにより直径0.8μmの貫通孔を形成した厚さ22μmのサンプルB(オキシフェン社製Oxydisk)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして防水通気フィルタを得た。
樹脂フィルムとして、PETからなる無孔のベースシートに、イオンビーム照射およびエッチングにより直径1.0μmの貫通孔を形成した厚さ22μmのサンプルC(オキシフェン社製Oxydisk)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして防水通気フィルタを得た。

樹脂フィルムの代わりに、厚さ15μm、平均孔径0.8μmのPTFE多孔質膜を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして防水通気フィルタを得た。PTFE多孔質膜は、まずPTFE微粉末に液状潤滑剤を混合したものを押し出してシート状に成形し、ついでシート状成形体を圧延するとともに乾燥させた後に、PTFEの融点以下の280℃で縦方向に4.5倍、横方向に15倍に延伸して作製した。
実施例および比較例の防水通気フィルタまたは接着シートに対して、金属板からなる筐体に貼り付けたときの接合力を測定する接合力測定試験を行った。まず、図3に示すように、防水通気フィルタまたは接着シートを、これらの構成要素である両面テープにより、直径3mmの開口が設けられた筐体に筐体の内側から開口を塞ぐように、換言すれば筐体の開口を通じて処理層が筐体の外部に面するように貼り付けた。防水通気フィルタまたは接着シートの筐体への貼り付けは、筐体の上に防水通気フィルタまたは接着シートを乗せた後に、防水通気フィルタまたは接着シートの上から質量2kgのロールを5mm/秒の速度で一往復させて行った。
次に、実施例および比較例の防水通気フィルタに対して、耐水圧試験およびガーレー試験を行った。まず、接合力試験のときと同様に、防水通気フィルタを筐体に接合した。ついで、JIS L1072−B(高水圧法)と同様にして、筐体の外側から100kPa/分で水圧をかけ、防水通気フィルタから水が漏れ出したときの圧力を耐水圧として測定した。

Claims (11)
- 通気を確保しつつ水の浸入を防止するための防水通気フィルタであって、
非多孔質の樹脂フィルムであって該樹脂フィルムを厚さ方向に貫通する、0.01μm以上10μm以下の所定のサイズを有する複数の貫通孔が形成された樹脂フィルムと、
前記樹脂フィルムの厚さ方向の両面のうちの少なくとも一方の面上に、前記複数の貫通孔と対応する位置に開口を有するように形成された、疎水性および撥油性を有する処理層と、
前記樹脂フィルムの厚さ方向の両面のうちの一方の面の周縁部に前記処理層を挟んで貼着された環状の両面テープと、
を備える、防水通気フィルタ。 - 前記複数の貫通孔は、密度が10〜1×108個/mm2の範囲のうちの特定の帯域に収まるように一様に分布している、請求項1に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 前記樹脂フィルムの気孔率が50%以下である、請求項1または2に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 前記所定のサイズに対する前記樹脂フィルムの厚さの比が1以上10000以下である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 前記樹脂フィルムは、アルカリ溶液、酸化剤溶液、または酸化剤を含むアルカリ溶液により分解する樹脂からなる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 前記樹脂は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリカーボネート、ポリイミド、ポリエチレンナフタレートおよびポリフッ化ビニリデンから選ばれる少なくとも1種である、請求項5に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 前記樹脂フィルムにおける前記両面テープが貼着された面と反対側の面に積層された通気性支持材をさらに備える、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 金属板からなる筐体に貼り付けたときの接合力が5N以上である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 開口を有する金属板に前記開口を塞ぐように貼り付けた後に、JIS L1072−A(低水圧法)またはJIS L1072−B(高水圧法)と同様にして測定したときの耐水圧が1kPa以上1000kPa以下である、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 開口を有する金属板に前記開口を塞ぐように貼り付けた後に、JIS P8117と同様にして測定したときの測定値を642mm2の面積に換算して得たガーレー数が0.5秒/100mL以上500秒/100mL以下である、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載された防水通気フィルタを用いて筐体に設けられた開口を塞ぎ、前記防水通気フィルタを介して前記筐体の内部と外部の圧力差を解消する、防水通気フィルタの使用。
