Abstract
【解決手段】軟水化装置52により硬度が5mgCaCO3/L以下に制御された給水を給水経路41を通じて蒸気ボイラ20へ供給しながら、かつ、ボイラ水の一部をブロー経路26から適宜廃棄しながら、蒸気ボイラ20においてボイラ水を加熱し、蒸気を生成する。また、薬剤供給装置60から給水に対し、アルカリ金属ケイ酸塩、アルカリ金属水酸化物およびスケール抑制剤としてのエチレンジアミン四酢酸を含む薬剤水溶液を、スケール抑制剤の濃度が給水の硬度に対して少なくとも1.5モル当量倍になるよう供給する。ボイラ水は、ブロー経路26からのボイラ水の廃棄を制御することで、スケール抑制剤の濃度が40mgEDTA/L以下になるよう濃縮倍率を制御する。

Description
蒸気ボイラ装置1の運転では、先ず、原水タンクから注水路51を通じて給水タンク40へ補給水を供給し、この補給水をボイラ給水として給水タンク40に貯留する。
(2)高温のボイラ水中においてスケール抑制剤が熱分解し、ボイラ水におけるスケール抑制剤の濃度が想定よりも減少している可能性がある。
(3)高温、高アルカリ性のボイラ水中においては、硬度成分とスケール抑制剤とによる錯体の形成が抑えられる可能性がある。
(調合水1の調製)
愛媛県松山市の水道水を混床式純水装置に供給し、電気伝導率が0.2mS/m以下のイオン交換水を得た。このイオン交換水に対し、塩化ナトリウム(試薬特級)、炭酸水素ナトリウム(試薬特級)、硫酸ナトリウム(試薬特級)、ケイ酸ナトリウム(Practical Grade)および塩化カルシウム(試薬特級)を添加し、下記の水質の調合水1を調製した。なお、イオン交換水に対してこれらの試薬のみを添加すると、調合水のpHがアルカリ性になるため、塩化ナトリウムおよび硫酸ナトリウムの一部をそれぞれ塩酸(試薬特級)および硫酸(試薬特級)に置き換え、調合水1のpHが中性付近になるよう調整した。各試薬は、和光純薬工業株式会社の製品をそのまま用いた。

調合水1の調製時にエチレンジアミン四酢酸−2ナトリウム塩(EDTA−2Na:和光純薬工業株式会社の試薬特級)をさらに添加し、エチレンジアミン四酢酸換算での濃度(以下、「EDTA換算濃度」という)が7.5mg/Lに調整された調合水2を調製した。
(調合水3の調製)
調合水1の調製時にエチレンジアミン四酢酸−2ナトリウム塩(EDTA−2Na:和光純薬工業株式会社の試薬特級)をさらに添加し、EDTA換算濃度が15mg/Lに調整された調合水3を調製した。
図3に示す模擬蒸気ボイラ装置を製作した。図において、模擬蒸気ボイラ装置100は、給水タンク110、給水路120および模擬蒸気ボイラ130を主に備えている。給水タンク110は、SUS304製のものであり、調合水を貯留するためのものである。給水路120は、給水タンク110に貯留された調合水を模擬蒸気ボイラ130へ供給するための経路であり、調合水を送水するためのダイヤフラム式ポンプ(株式会社イワキの型番「EHC−15VC」)121と脱気装置122とをこの順に備えている。脱気装置122は、三浦工業株式会社製の脱気装置(型式「DOR」)と同等の性能の小型機であり、調合水中の溶存酸素を除去するためのものである。給水路120の配管部分は、ダイヤフラム式ポンプ121の前後を軟質塩化ビニルホースで形成した点を除き、内径4mmで外径6mmのステンレス管(SUS304製)を用いて形成した。
給水タンク110に調合水1を200Lを貯留し、以下の条件になるよう間欠的にブローしながら模擬蒸気ボイラ装置100を48時間運転した。

Claims (3)
- ボイラ水を加熱することで蒸気を生成する蒸気ボイラの運転方法であって、
前記ボイラ水として用いられる硬度が5mgCaCO3/L以下の給水を前記蒸気ボイラへ供給しながら、かつ、前記ボイラ水の一部を適宜廃棄しながら、前記蒸気ボイラにおいて前記ボイラ水を加熱する工程と、
アルカリ金属ケイ酸塩、アルカリ金属水酸化物並びにエチレンジアミン四酢酸およびそのアルカリ金属塩のうちの少なくとも1種のスケール抑制剤を含む薬剤水溶液を、前記スケール抑制剤の濃度が前記給水の硬度に対して少なくとも1.5モル当量倍になるよう前記給水に対して供給する工程とを含み、
前記蒸気ボイラにおいて、前記ボイラ水における前記スケール抑制剤の濃度が40mgEDTA/L以下になるよう前記ボイラ水の濃縮倍率を設定する、
蒸気ボイラの運転方法。 - 前記給水は、水道水、工業用水または地下水を陽イオン交換樹脂を用いて処理した軟化水である、請求項1に記載の蒸気ボイラの運転方法。
- 前記アルカリ金属ケイ酸塩は、ケイ酸および二酸化ケイ素のうちの少なくとも1種とアルカリ金属水酸化物との反応生成物である、請求項1または2に記載の蒸気ボイラの運転方法。
