Abstract
【解決手段】燃料噴射ノズル7と、電極棒8,9(点火装置)と、これらの周囲を取り囲む二重円筒型の保炎器10とを備え、該保炎器の内筒11と外筒12との間を先端側でトーラス状の閉塞板13により塞ぐ一方、内筒11と外筒12との間に燃焼空気14を導く燃焼空気導入ライン15を基端側から接続し、内筒11の基端側に複数の燃焼空気流入孔16を穿設し、これよりも先端側にずれた内筒11の周面に燃焼空気14を周方向から導き入れて内筒11内に旋回流を形成し得るよう複数の周面フィン17を半径方向内側に切り起こして形成し、閉塞板13にも燃焼空気14を周方向に吐出して火炎21の周囲に旋回流を形成し得るよう複数の端面フィン18を燃料の噴射方向に切り起こして形成する。

Claims (7)
- 排気管の屈曲部に装備されてバーナ燃焼により排気ガスの昇温を図り得るようにした排気ガス昇温用燃焼器であって、前記排気管の屈曲部にて燃料を排気ガスの流れ方向下流側へ向けて噴射する燃料噴射ノズルと、該燃料噴射ノズルから噴射される燃料噴霧に着火する点火装置と、これら燃料噴射ノズル及び点火装置の周囲を前記燃料噴射ノズルを中心として同心状に取り囲む二重円筒型の保炎器とを備え、該保炎器の内筒と外筒との間を前記保炎器の先端側でトーラス状の閉塞板により塞ぐ一方、前記内筒と外筒との間に燃焼空気を導く燃焼空気導入ラインを前記保炎器の基端側から接続し、前記内筒の基端側の周面に全周に亘り複数の燃焼空気流入孔を穿設すると共に、該燃焼空気流入孔よりも先端側にずれた前記内筒の周面に燃焼空気を周方向から導き入れて前記内筒内に旋回流を形成し得るよう複数の周面フィンを前記内筒の半径方向内側に切り起こして形成し、前記閉塞板にも燃焼空気を周方向に吐出して前記内筒内から噴き出る火炎の周囲に旋回流を形成し得るよう複数の端面フィンを燃料の噴射方向に切り起こして形成したことを特徴とする排気ガス昇温用燃焼器。
- 保炎器の先端側に燃料の噴射方向に向け末広がりに拡径するミキサを備え且つ該ミキサのテーパ面に排気ガスを周方向から導き入れて前記ミキサ内に旋回流を形成し得るよう複数のテーパ面フィンを前記ミキサの半径方向内側に切り起こして形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気ガス昇温用燃焼器。
- 周面フィンによる旋回流に対し、端面フィンによる旋回流を逆方向に形成し得るよう周面フィンと端面フィンとを周方向の逆向きに切り起こしたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の排気ガス昇温用燃焼器。
- 端面フィンによる旋回流に対し、テーパ面フィンによる旋回流を順方向に形成し得るよう端面フィンとテーパ面フィンとを周方向の同じ向きに切り起こしたことを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の排気ガス昇温用燃焼器。
- 燃焼空気流入孔と周面フィンと端面フィンの総開口面積に対し、端面フィンの開口面積を50〜70%として、残りの開口面積を燃焼空気流入孔及び周面フィンの開口面積に割り当てたことを特徴とする請求項1、2、3又は4に記載の排気ガス昇温用燃焼器。
- 燃焼空気流入孔と周面フィンと端面フィンの総開口面積に対し、燃焼空気流入孔の開口面積を10%とし、端面フィンの開口面積を50〜70%として、残りの開口面積を周面フィンの開口面積に割り当てたことを特徴とする請求項1、2、3又は4に記載の排気ガス昇温用燃焼器。
- 周面フィンの内筒の周面に対する切り起こし角度を40〜55゜としたことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の排気ガス昇温用燃焼器。
