Description
本開示におけるバーナーの他の態様によれば、第1の筒部と第4の筒部との隙間を流れる空気は、第1の筒部の周りを旋回しながら噴出し口とは反対側に向かって流れる。そのため、上記案内部が形成されていない場合に比べて、第1の筒部と第4の筒部との隙間を空気が流れるうえでの流通経路が長くなることから、第1の筒部を介した空気の加熱が効率よく行なわれる。その結果、混合気の温度がより高められることから、混合気の燃焼性がさらに向上する。
本開示におけるバーナーの他の態様によれば、予混合室には、長尺状の伝熱部が挿入されるので、予混合室において、気化燃料の液化を抑制するとともに、液状の燃料の気化を促進することができる。
本開示におけるバーナーの他の態様によれば、狭小部を介して、燃焼ガス及び予混合気が邪魔板の後方に勢いよく流れ込むため、邪魔板の下流側を減圧し、未燃燃料の拡散を促すことができる。
本開示におけるバーナーの他の態様によれば、邪魔板の外径が、第1の筒部の内径に対し上記範囲の比率を有するため、邪魔板の上流側圧力を適切に調整するとともに、混合効率を高めてバーナーからの未燃燃料の排出量を低減することができる。
以下、本開示におけるバーナーを具体化した第1実施形態について、図1〜図6を参照して説明する。
DPF12の再生処理が開始されると、空気弁65が開状態に制御されるとともに、燃料供給部37及び着火部62が駆動される。空気弁65が開状態になると、吸気通路13を流れる吸気の一部が燃焼用空気として空気流通室67に流入する。この燃焼用空気は、案内部68に案内されることで、筒部30の周りを旋回しながら噴出し口32とは反対側に向かって流れる。
(1)バーナー20の予混合室70では、混合気の流路が折り返されている。そのため、こうした折返しのない予混合室を備えたバーナーに比べて、予混合室70における混合気の流路が長くなる。その結果、混合気の混合が促進されて該混合気の燃焼性が向上することから、燃焼ガスに含まれる未燃燃料が低減される。
(8)空気流通室67を流れる燃焼用空気は、案内部68に案内されることで筒部50の周りを旋回している。そのため、空気流通室67において燃焼用空気が旋回しない場合に比べて、空気流通室67における燃焼用空気の流通経路が長くなることから、より高い温度まで燃焼用空気が加熱される。
(10)切り起こし片35による旋回方向と案内部68による旋回方向とが同じである。そのため、切り起こし片35による旋回方向と案内部68による旋回方向とが互いに異なる場合に比べて、混合室71への燃焼用空気の流入が円滑に行なわれる。
・空気流通室67に燃焼用空気の旋回流を生成する案内部は、空気供給通路64の出口を覆うように配設されるものに限らず、筒部30の外側面30bに形成されるフィンであってもよいし、筒部60の内側面60aに形成されるフィンであってもよい。
・また、筒部30には、筒部30の外側への切り起こし片と筒部30の内側への切り起こし片とが形成されていてもよい。
・混合室71に燃焼用空気の旋回流を生成する旋回流生成部は、筒部30の周壁の一部を切り起こした切り起こし片35に限らず、案内部68のように、導入口34の開口を覆うような部材を筒部30に接合したものであってもよい。
・仕切壁55における連通路56の配列、開口面積、形状は、未燃燃料や火炎長に関する各種シミュレーションや実験によって適宜変更可能である。
・燃焼ガスによって加熱される筒部50の閉塞板51側の端部は、例えば筒部30に対して固定された固定端であってもよい。
・バーナー20においては、噴出し口32の反対側から筒部40に混合気が流入すればよい。そのため、バーナー20には、例えば、筒部40に内挿される第1の内側筒部、第1の内側筒部と連結壁部41との隙間を閉塞する連結壁部、第1の内側筒部が内挿された状態で筒部40に固定され、噴出し口32側の開口が閉塞された第2の内側筒部、これらが追加されてもよい。こうした構成によれば、予混合室における混合気の流通経路がさらに長くなることから、混合気の混合がさらに促進される。
・燃料供給部37から噴射される燃料は、燃料ポンプではなく、コモンレールから供給されてもよい。また、燃料供給部37のみに燃料を供給する燃料ポンプが搭載されてもよい。
(第2実施形態)
以下、本開示におけるバーナーを具体化した第2実施形態について、図7〜図9を参照して説明する。なお、第2実施形態のバーナーは、第1実施形態におけるバーナーと主要な構成が同じである。そのため、第2実施形態においては、第1実施形態と異なる部分について詳細に説明し、第1実施形態と同様の部分については同様の符号を付すことによりその詳細な説明は省略する。
(第3実施形態)
以下、本開示におけるバーナーを具体化した第3実施形態について、図10を参照して説明する。なお、第3実施形態のバーナーは、第1実施形態におけるバーナーと主要な構成が同じである。そのため、第3実施形態においては、第1実施形態と異なる部分について詳細に説明し、第1実施形態と同様の部分については同様の符号を付すことによりその詳細な説明は省略する。
・第2実施形態では、バッフル部80の邪魔板82と閉塞板51との間に第1の循環流生成空間83を設けたが、これを省略してもよい。例えば図11に示されるように、第3の筒部50の蓋部を邪魔板82で構成し、その邪魔板82から伝熱部81が第3の筒部50内に延びるようにしてもよい。換言すれば、第3実施形態の邪魔板90に対して、予混合室70内に配設される伝熱部81が連結されていてもよい。
・第2実施形態では、バッフル部80の伝熱部81を棒状に形成した。これ以外には図12(a)に示されるように、伝熱部81の断面形状を、星型の形状にしてもよく、図12(b)に示されるように伝熱板41aを突出させた形状にしてもよい。このようにすると、伝熱部81の比表面積を大きくすることができる。
Claims (11)
- 混合気を燃焼させた燃焼ガスの噴き出る噴出し口が形成された筒端を有する第1の筒部と、
前記第1の筒部内を前記噴出し口に向かって延びる第2の筒部であって、該第2の筒部には前記噴出し口とは反対側から前記混合気が流入する、前記第2の筒部と、
前記第1の筒部内に配設されるとともに前記第2の筒部が内挿される第3の筒部であって、該第3の筒部は前記噴出し口側に位置する開口端を有する、前記第3の筒部と、
前記開口端を閉塞する閉塞部と、
前記第1の筒部の内側面と前記第2の筒部の外側面とに連結されて当該第1の筒部と当該第2の筒部との隙間を閉塞する第1の壁部と、
前記第1の筒部の内側面と前記第3の筒部の外側面とに連結される第2の壁部であって、該第2の壁部には当該壁部に対する前記噴出し口の反対側と前記噴出し口側とを連通する連通路が形成された、前記第2の壁部と、
前記第2の壁部に対する前記噴出し口側に配設されて前記混合気に着火する着火部と、を備え、
前記第1の筒部は、当該第1の筒部と前記第1の壁部との連結部分よりも前記噴出し口の反対側へ延びる延出部を備え、
当該延出部で囲まれる空間に燃料と空気とが供給されるとともに、
前記延出部には、当該延出部内に空気を導入するための第1の導入口と当該延出部内に該空気の旋回流を生成する旋回流生成部とが形成されているバーナー。 - 前記第1の筒部には、
前記着火部に対する前記噴出し口側の部位に位置し、前記第1の筒部と前記第3の筒部との隙間に空気を導入するための第2の導入口が形成されている
請求項1に記載のバーナー。 - 前記第1の筒部が内挿されるように設けられる第4の筒部であって、該第4の筒部は前記第1の筒部との隙間を閉塞する前記噴出し口側の端部を有している、前記第4の筒部と、
前記第4の筒部の前記噴出し口側の部位に接続され、前記第1の筒部と前記第4の筒部との隙間に空気を供給する空気供給通路と、をさらに備える
請求項1または2に記載のバーナー。 - 前記空気供給通路からの空気が前記第1の筒部の周りを旋回するように該空気を案内する案内部をさらに備える
請求項3に記載のバーナー。 - 前記第1の筒部の内部空間は、前記第3の筒部、前記閉塞部、及び前記第2の壁部によって予混合室と燃焼室とに区画され、
前記閉塞部は、
前記着火部側から前記噴出し口に向かう前記燃焼ガスの流れと衝突して該流れの一部に上流側と下流側との間で循環する循環流を生成する面と、前記予混合室内の予混合気に曝される部位と、を有する循環流生成部を含む
請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のバーナー。 - 前記閉塞部は、前記第3の筒部の前記開口端を閉塞する閉塞板を備え、
前記循環流生成部は、前記閉塞板よりも前記噴出し口側に配設されて、前記着火部側から前記噴出し口に向かう前記燃焼ガスが衝突する邪魔板を備え、
前記燃焼室のうち、前記邪魔板と前記閉塞板との間には、該邪魔板の上流側に循環流を生成する第1の循環流生成空間が設けられ、前記邪魔板の下流側には第2の循環流生成空間が設けられている
請求項5に記載のバーナー。 - 前記循環流生成部は、前記予混合室内に挿入される長尺状の伝熱部を備える
請求項5に記載のバーナー。 - 前記循環流生成部は、前記第3の筒部の前記開口端を閉塞する邪魔板を有しており、該邪魔板は前記第3の筒部の外側面から突出する部位を有している
請求項5に記載のバーナー。 - 前記邪魔板と前記第1の筒部との間には、狭小部が設けられる請求項6又は8に記載のバーナー。
- 前記邪魔板の外径は、前記第1の筒部の内径に対し、0.6以上0.8以下の比率を有する
請求項9に記載のバーナー。 - 前記第1の筒部は、当該第1の筒部と前記第1の壁部との連結部分よりも前記噴出し口の反対側へ延びる延出部を備え、
当該延出部で囲まれる空間に燃料と空気とが供給されるとともに、
前記延出部には、当該延出部内に空気を導入するための第1の導入口と当該延出部内に該空気の旋回流を生成する旋回流生成部とが形成され、
前記旋回流生成部は、前記循環流生成部による前記燃焼ガスの循環方向とは異なる方向に前記空気を旋回させる
請求項5〜10のいずれか1つに記載のバーナー。
