Abstract
【解決手段】ホームネットワークシステムに新規接続する装置は、システムに製品コードを含むプラグイン要求メッセージの転送後、システムから装置の臨時論理アドレス範囲を含む接続要求メッセージを受信し、臨時論理アドレス範囲内で所定値を臨時論理アドレスとして選択し、初期論理アドレスを臨時論理アドレスに変更・格納し、臨時論理アドレスを含む接続ACK応答メッセージをシステムに転送する。

Claims (8)
- ホームネットワークシステムに新規に接続する装置であって、
前記ホームネットワークシステムに接続するインターフェース手段と、
初期論理アドレスと製品コードを格納するメモリと、
前記インターフェース手段が前記ホームネットワークシステムに接続されると、前記インターフェース手段を通して前記製品コードを含むプラグイン要求メッセージを転送し、前記ホームネットワークシステムから新規論理アドレスを含むアドレス変更要求メッセージを受信し、前記初期論理アドレスを前記受信した新規論理アドレスに変更して前記メモリに格納する制御手段とを含み、
前記制御手段が、前記プラグイン要求メッセージを転送した後、前記ホームネットワークシステムから前記装置の臨時論理アドレス範囲を含む接続要求メッセージを受信すると、前記臨時論理アドレス範囲内で所定の値を臨時論理アドレスとして選択し、前記初期論理アドレスを前記臨時論理アドレスに変更して格納し、前記臨時論理アドレスを含む接続ACK応答メッセージを前記ホームネットワークシステムに前記インターフェース手段を通して転送することを特徴とするホームネットワークシステムに新規に接続する装置。 - 前記臨時論理アドレスを格納する揮発性メモリをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のホームネットワークシステムに新規に接続する装置。
- ホームネットワークシステムに新規装置を設置する構成方法であって、
前記方法は前記新規装置によりなされ、
前記新規装置において、前記ホームネットワークへ前記新規装置の製品コードを含むプラグイン要求メッセージを送信する段階と、
前記新規装置が、前記プラグイン要求メッセージに応答して前記ホームネットワークシステムから論理アドレスを含むアドレス変更要求メッセージを受信すると、前記新規装置に格納された初期論理アドレスを前記アドレス変更要求メッセージに含まれる前記論理アドレスに変更する段階と、
前記新規装置が、前記ホームネットワークシステムから、前記プラグイン要求メッセージに応答して、前記新規装置の臨時論理アドレス範囲を含む、接続要求メッセージを受信すると、前記臨時論理アドレス範囲内で臨時論理アドレスとして所定の値を選択する段階と、
前記新規装置に格納された前記初期論理アドレスを、前記選択された臨時論理アドレスに変更して格納する段階と、
前記臨時論理アドレスを含む接続ACK応答メッセージを前記ホームネットワークシステムに伝送する段階とを含む方法。 - 前記受信アドレス変更要求メッセージに従って、前記変更する段階以後に、前記ホームネットワークシステムにアドレス変更ACK応答メッセージを転送する段階をさらに含む、請求項3に記載のホームネットワークシステムに新規装置を設置する構成方法。
- ホームネットワークシステムに新規に接続された新規装置のアドレスを管理する管理装置であって、
前記ホームネットワークシステムに接続されたインターフェース手段と、
前記インターフェース手段を通して前記新規装置から前記新規装置の製品コードを含むプラグイン要求メッセージを受信し、前記制御手段が単一のプラグイン要求メッセージを受信するときは、前記インターフェース手段を通して、前記新規装置のための新規論理アドレスを含むアドレス変更要求メッセージを前記新規装置に送信する制御手段であって、
前記新規装置は、前記新規装置に格納した初期論理アドレスを、前記アドレス変更要求メッセージに含まれる前記新規論理アドレスに変更し、
前記制御手段が前記インターフェース手段を通して複数の前記プラグイン要求メッセージを受信すると、前記インターフェース手段を通して前記複数の新規装置へ、臨時論理アドレス範囲を含む接続要求メッセージを送信し、
前記新規装置が前記接続要求メッセージを受信すると、前記新規装置は、前記臨時論理アドレス範囲内で、所定の値を臨時論理アドレスとして選択し、前記新規装置に格納した新規論理アドレスを前記臨時論理アドレスに変更して格納し、前記選択された臨時論理アドレスを含む接続ACK応答メッセージを前記管理装置に送信する制御手段とを、含む、管理装置。 - 前記制御手段が、前記複数のプラグイン要求メッセージが所定の時間内に受信されたか否かを決定する、請求項5に記載の管理装置。
- ホームネットワークに新規装置を設置する構成方法であって、
前記方法は管理装置によりなされ、
前記新規装置から前記新規装置の製品コードを含むプラグイン要求メッセージを受信する段階と、
前記管理装置が一つのプラグイン要求メッセージを受信すると、前記受信したプラグイン要求メッセージに応答して、前記新規装置のための新規論理アドレスを含むアドレス変更要求メッセージを前記新規装置に送信する段階であって、
前記新規装置が、前記新規装置に格納された初期論理アドレスを前記アドレス変更要求メッセージに含まれる前記新規論理アドレスに変更する段階と、
前記管理装置が、複数の前記プラグイン要求メッセージを受信すると、臨時論理アドレス範囲を含む接続要求メッセージを前記複数の新規装置に送信する段階であって、
前記新規装置が前記接続要求メッセージを受信すると、前記新規装置は、前記臨時論理アドレス範囲内で所定の値を臨時論理アドレスとして選択し、前記新規装置に格納された初期論理アドレスを前記臨時論理アドレスに変更して格納し、前記選択された臨時論理アドレスを含む接続ACK応答メッセージを前記管理装置に送信する段階とを含む
構成方法。 - 前記複数のプラグイン要求メッセージが所定時間内に受信されたか否かを決定する段階を更に有する、請求項7に記載の構成方法。
