Abstract
【解決手段】貫通及び圧壊安全性が向上した二次電池は、電極組立体、電極組立体が収容されるケース、第1電極端子、第2電極端子、蓋板及び短絡回路誘導部材を含む。電極組立体は、第1電極、セパレータ及び第2電極を含む。ケースは電極組立体を収容する。第1電極端子及び第2電極端子は第1電極及び第2電極にそれぞれ電気的に連結される。短絡回路誘導部材は電極組立体とケースの間に位置し、二次電池が貫通または圧壊された時に二次電池を短絡させる。

Claims (20)
- 第1電極、第2電極及び前記第1電極と前記第2電極の間のセパレータを含む電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体を収容するケースと、
前記ケースに結合された蓋板と、
前記第1電極及び前記第2電極から分離され、前記電極組立体に巻回され、前記第1電極または前記第2電極の少なくとも何れか一つに電気的に連結された短絡回路誘導部材とを含むことを特徴とする、二次電池。 - 前記短絡回路誘導部材の第1端は前記短絡回路誘導部材の第2端に重畳することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記短絡回路誘導部材は7回まで前記電極組立体に巻回されることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ケースの内部に他の電極組立体をさらに含み、前記短絡回路誘導部材は前記電極組立体に巻回された第1短絡回路誘導部材と、前記他の電極組立体に巻回された第2短絡回路誘導部材とを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ケースの内部に他の電極組立体をさらに含み、前記短絡回路誘導部材は前記すべての電極組立体に一体に巻回されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 第1電極、第2電極及び前記第1電極と前記第2電極の間のセパレータを含む電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体を収容するケースと、
前記ケースに結合された蓋板と、
前記電極組立体に巻回され、前記電極組立体に電気的に連結され、第1金属板、第2金属板及び前記第1金属板と前記第2金属板の間の第1フィルムからなる短絡回路誘導部材とを含むことを特徴とする、二次電池。 - 前記短絡回路誘導部材は、
前記二次電池が貫通または圧壊された時に前記第1金属板と前記第2金属板が電気的に連結され、前記電極組立体が短絡されるようにすることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。 - 前記第1金属板は前記電極組立体に密着し、前記第2金属板は前記ケースに密着し、前記短絡回路誘導部材は前記第2金属板と前記ケースの間に位置した第2フィルムをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1金属板は前記第1電極に電気的に連結され、前記第2金属板は前記第2電極に電気的に連結されたことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1電極は金属箔を含み、前記第1金属板及び前記第2金属板は前記金属箔と同一材料からなることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 第1金属板の抵抗と前記第2金属板の抵抗は、第1電極の活物質の抵抗または第2電極の活物質の抵抗より小さいことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1金属板及び前記第2金属板は銅を含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1金属板はアルミニウムを含み、前記第2金属板は銅を含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1金属板及び前記第2金属板は前記ケースの材質と異なる材質を含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1金属板と前記第2金属板はそれぞれ100μm〜200μmの厚さに形成されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1金属板と前記第2金属板は単層または複層構造からなることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1電極は第1金属箔を含み、
前記第2電極は第2金属箔を含み、
前記それぞれの第1金属板及び第2金属板は前記第1金属箔または前記第2金属箔の厚さより厚いことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。 - 前記第1電極は前記電極組立体の第1側部に延びる第1無地部を含み、
前記第2電極は前記電極組立体の第2側分に延びる第2無地部を含み、
前記第1金属板は前記第1無地部に電気的に連結され、
前記第2金属板は前記第2無地部に電気的に連結されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。 - 前記第1金属板及び前記第1無地部は互いに溶接され、
前記第2金属板及び前記第2無地部も互いに溶接されたことを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の二次電池。 - 第1電極端子及び第2電極端子をさらに含み、
前記第1電極は前記電極組立体の第1側部に延びた第1無地部を含み、
前記第2電極は前記電極組立体の第2側部に延びた第2無地部を含み、
前記第1金属板、前記第1無地部及び前記第1電極端子は電気的に連結され、
前記第2金属板、前記第2無地部及び前記第2電極端子は電気的に連結されたことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
