Abstract
液体塞栓を塞栓領域以外で凝固することが防止されるように、注入される液体塞栓組成物を捕捉するための閉じ込め部材の提供。
【解決手段】
送込みシステムは、液体塞栓組成物をキャビティへ送り込むための管腔を有するカテーテルと、カテーテルの遠位端に位置する閉じ込め部材であって、カテーテルの管腔を介して送り込まれる液体塞栓組成物を捕捉するように形作られた閉じ込め部材とを備える。閉じ込め部材は、ブラシ、巣、スポンジ、綿棒、フレキシブル袋等の液体塞栓組成物が注入される形状に形成されている。液体塞栓組成物は、凝固中に閉じ込め部材を用いて捕捉され若しくは網で捕えられ、液体塞栓を包み、液体塞栓組成物が血液中に流れていくのが防止されている。

Claims (19)
- 液体塞栓組成物をキャビティへ送り込むための管腔を有するカテーテルと;
カテーテルの遠位端に位置する閉じ込め部材であって、カテーテルの管腔を介して送り込まれる液体塞栓組成物を捕捉するように形作られた閉じ込め部材と;
凝固した塞栓組成物の塊からカテーテルを分離するために、液体塞栓組成物の凝固の後に、カテーテルから閉じ込め部材を完全に引き離す引き離し部材と;
を備えた液体塞栓送込みシステム。 - 閉じ込め部材は、液体塞栓組成物で充填されるフレキシブル袋である請求項1に記載の液体塞栓送込みシステム。
- フレキシブル袋は管腔の遠位出口全体にわたって位置し、フレキシブル袋のネックはカテーテル管腔の開口の回りのカテーテルの遠位端に接続され、引き離し機構によってカテーテルの遠位端からフレキシブル袋を引き離される請求項2に記載の液体塞栓送込みシステム。
- フレキシブル袋は溶剤が袋を通過することができる網材料から成り、網材料は凝固する液体塞栓組成物を含んでいる請求項2に記載の液体塞栓送込みシステム。
- フレキシブル袋はカテーテルの遠位端全体にわたって弾性バルーンとして形成されている請求項2に記載の液体塞栓送込みシステム。
- 閉じ込め部材はカテーテルの遠位端から延びる巣状部材であり、液体塞栓組成物が凝固する際に液体塞栓組成物を捕捉するように配置した請求項1に記載の液体塞栓送込みシステム。
- 巣状部材は、カテーテル管腔を介して送られるワイヤから成り、管腔の遠位端を出る際にコイルを形成する請求項6に記載の液体塞栓送込みシステム。
- 巣状部材はワイヤブラシ状である請求項6に記載の液体塞栓送込みシステム。
- 巣状部材は綿棒状である請求項6に記載の液体塞栓送込みシステム。
- 巣状部材はスポンジ状である請求項6に記載の液体塞栓送込みシステム。
- 巣状部材はフレキシブル袋の形をしている請求項6に記載の液体塞栓送込みシステム。
- 巣状部材は、カテーテル管腔を介して送られるワイヤから成り、管腔の遠位端を出る際にランダムに形成された巣を形成する請求項6に記載の液体塞栓送込みシステム。
- 引き離し機構は、閉じ込め部材をカテーテルから引き離すために、閉じ込め部材とカテーテルとの間の点に電荷を送り込む手段を含む請求項1に記載の液体塞栓送込みシステム。
- 引き離し機構は、化学剤に溶解する、閉じ込め部材とカテーテルとの間の化学的引き離し部分を含む請求項1に記載の液体塞栓送込みシステム。
- 体内の塞栓サイトに液体塞栓組成物を閉じ込める方法であって:
カテーテルを用いて体内の塞栓サイトに液体塞栓組成物を送り込む段階と;
閉じ込め部材を用いて凝固の間に液体塞栓組成物を閉じ込める段階と;
凝固した塞栓組成物の塊からカテーテルを離すために、液体塞栓組成物の凝固の後にカテーテルから閉じ込め部材を引き離す段階と;
を備えた方法。 - 液体塞栓組成物が、凝固中に、巣状部材に塞栓組成物を捕捉することによって閉じ込められる請求項15に記載の方法。
- 液体塞栓組成物がフレキシブル袋で閉じ込められ、溶剤が液体塞栓組成物の凝固中に袋を介して放散していく請求項15に記載の方法。
- カテーテルの管腔から閉じ込め部材を移動することによって、液体塞栓組成物を送り込む前に、閉じ込め部材を塞栓サイトに配置する請求項15に記載の方法。
- 閉じ込め部材とカテーテルとが、導入カテーテルを介して塞栓サイトに送り込まれる請求項15に記載の方法。
