Abstract

Claims (51)
- 装着者の利き目を基準として配置された表示画面と、
前記表示画面に接続されたハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに接続され、前記装着者の前記利き目を基準として前記表示画面を支持する支持部材とを備えた頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器であって、
前記表示画面は、前記装着者の周辺視野に入るように、前記装着者の前記利き目を基準とする位置に配置され、前記装着者の前記利き目の前方を遮らず前記装着者の平常の周辺視野を塞がない、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。 - 請求項1において、前記表示画面が、前記装着者の前記利き目から離間されており、前記装着者の目から水平方向に所定量、および前記装着者の目から垂直方向に所定量離間されて配置されている、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。
- 請求項1において、前記表示画面が、前記ハウジングを通る前記ハウジングの長手方向軸心に対してある角度で傾いて配置および位置決めされており、前記装着者の顔に対してほぼ平行である、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。
- 請求項3において、前記角度が約45°から約90°である、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。
- 請求項1において、前記表示画面がない場合の前記装着者の全体の平常の視野は水平方向において約180°であって垂直方向において約120°であり、
前記平常の視野の約10から20パーセント以下を塞ぐように前記表示画面が支持されている、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。 - 請求項5において、前記ハウジングが、前記表示画面を少なくとも2つの位置の間で移動させるように前記表示画面に接続されており、
少なくとも第1の位置は、前記表示画面が、前記装着者の目を基準として支持され、前記平常の視野の約10から約20パーセント以下を塞ぐ位置であり、
少なくとも第2の位置は、前記表示画面が、前記第1の位置よりも前記装着者の前記利き目の近傍に配置され、前記装着者の前記利き目の前方において前記表示画面を用いて近くで画像を見るための位置である、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。 - 請求項6において、前記ハウジングが、関節接続型の結合機構、入れ子式のアーム、またはスライド式のアームのうち少なくとも1つによって前記表示画面に結合されている、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。
- 請求項6において、前記ハウジングが、さらに、
(i)前記支持部材および当該ハウジングを前記装着者に取外し自在に接続する構造物、または(ii)前記支持部材および当該ハウジングを、前記装着者に支持されている第2の部材に取外し自在に接続する構造物を備えた、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。 - 請求項8において、前記構造物がクリップである、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。
- 請求項8において、前記構造物が、前記支持部材および前記ハウジングを、
(i)眼鏡のフレーム、または(ii)前記装着者が身に付けた衣類に、取外し自在に接続する、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。 - 請求項1において、さらに、
画像を取り込み、この画像を、当該画像を前記装着者に表示する回路に伝達するカメラを備えた、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。 - 請求項11において、さらに、
前記カメラとは異なる位置において前記装着者によって支持された第2のカメラを備え、前記第2のカメラが、前記装着者に表示するための第2の投影画像を取り込む、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。 - 請求項1において、さらに、
前記表示画面に動作可能に接続された再充電可能な電源を備えた、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。 - 請求項13において、前記電源は、無線周波数エネルギを取り込むことによって再充電可能である、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。
- 請求項14において、前記電源が、当該頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器とは無関係に生成された無線周波数エネルギを取り込むコイルを備えた、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。
- 請求項1において、さらに、
前記回路に動作可能に接続された騒音打消マイクロフォンを備えた、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。 - 請求項1において、さらに、
前記装着者の周辺のパラメータを検出し、この検出したパラメータに応じて信号をコントローラに出力するセンサを備えた、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。 - 請求項1において、さらに、
前記装着者に音声を出力する音声変換器を備えた、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示器。 - 頭部装着型の表示器を装着者によって支持する方法であって、
弾性を有するハウジングを準備する工程と、
前記弾性を有するハウジングに前記頭部装着型の表示器を接続する工程と、
前記表示器が前記装着者の周辺視野に入るように、かつ、前記装着者の平常の視野の約10から約20パーセント以下を塞ぐようにして、前記表示器が装着者の頭部を基準として支持されるように、前記ハウジングを前記装着者によって支持する工程とを備え、
前記装着者の前記平常の視野は、水平方向において約180°であって垂直方向において約120°として定義される、頭部装着型の表示器支持方法。 - 請求項19において、さらに、
前記表示器を、前記ハウジングに対して少なくとも2つの異なる位置の間で調整する工程を備えた、頭部装着型の表示器支持方法。 - 装着者の目を基準として配置された表示画面と、
前記表示画面に接続されたハウジングと、
電源と、
前記表示画面および前記電源に動作可能に接続された回路と、
前記ハウジングに接続され、前記表示画面を前記装着者の目を基準として支持する支持部材と、
前記表示画面、前記ハウジングまたは前記支持部材に関係付けられ、少なくとも1つのさらなる機能性コンポーネントを前記回路に取外し自在に接続するように前記回路に動作可能に接続されたポートとを備えた、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示装置。 - 請求項21において、さらに、
取外し自在に前記ポートに連結し、取外し可能なメモリを構成する、さらなる機能性コンポーネントであって、前記回路に動作可能に接続する、さらなる機能性コンポーネントを備えた、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示装置。 - 請求項21において、さらに、
取外し自在に前記ポートに連結する取外し可能な電源を備えた、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示装置。 - 請求項21において、前記ポートが、前記装着者が操作できる前記表示画面の位置に配置されている、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示装置。
- 請求項21において、さらに、
前記ポートに取外し自在に接続するワイヤレストランシーバアセンブリを備えた、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示装置。 - 請求項21において、前記支持部材が、耳掛けまたはクリップのうち少なくとも1つを備え、前記ポートが前記支持部材に配置されている、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示装置。

内部空間を画定するハウジングを有し、前記装着者の頭部のほぼ周囲における後部で支持され、前記ポートを内蔵するランヤードであって、前記ポートは、前記回路に動作可能に接続され、少なくとも1つのさらなる機能性コンポーネントを取外し自在に前記回路に接続するランヤードを備えた、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示装置。 - 請求項27において、前記ランヤードが、前記装着者に支えられた眼鏡に接続されている、頭部装着型の単眼式の表示装置。
