Abstract
Description
本出願は、2006年10月27日に出願された「Energy Conversion System」という名称の米国特許仮出願第60/863,233号、2006年11月8日に出願された「Energy Conversion Systemという名称の米国特許仮出願第60/864,882号、2007年3月15日に出願された「High−Speed,Sleeved Rotor for Permanent Magnet Electric Machines」という名称の米国特許仮出願第60/895,025号、および2007年5月21日に出願された「Electromechanical Energy Conversion Systems」という名称の米国特許出願第11/751,450号の優先権を主張するものである。優先権出願の各々の図および詳細な説明の部分の開示は参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
N=ステータ・スロットの数/(M、極の数)

Claims (21)
- ステータの表面の端から端まで実質的に均等に分配された複数の巻線場所をもつステータと、
前記複数の巻線場所の中に実質的に対称に配置され、いくつか(N)の組のマルチプル(M)相巻線を形成するように接続された複数のコイル中に形成された複数の導体であって、前記巻線の各々に対して、前記コイルの各々が全節巻を形成するように単一極にまたがり、前記N組の巻線の各々が、動作中第1の周波数範囲内の磁束の高調波含有量を実質的に低減するように互いに対して実質的にオフセットされる複数の導体と
を含む電気機械と、
前記N組の巻線の各々に対応する実質的に独立したNモジュールを含む処理ステージであって、前記Nモジュールの各々が前記対応するM巻線の各々に接続するためのM入力ポートを有し、第1および第2の出力ポートを有し、前記Nモジュールの各々に対する前記第1および第2の出力ポートが、電圧バスの第1のノードおよび第2のノードに接続可能である処理ステージと
を備えるエネルギー処理システム。 - 前記電気機械がリニア機械を備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電気機械が回転機械を備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電圧バスと電気分配システムとの間のエネルギー移送を可能にするインターフェイスをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電気分配システムが船舶搭載電気分配システムを含む、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記船舶搭載電気分配システムがDC(直流)分配システムを含む、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記モジュールの各々がフィルタを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記モジュールの各々がブリッジ整流器を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。

- 前記電圧バスがDC(直流)電圧バスを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。

- 前記複数の巻線場所の各々がスロットを含み、前記スロットの各々が実質的に同じ幅を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の周波数範囲が、前記機械の基本電気周波数の高調波よりも実質的に低い周波数を含み、前記基本電気周波数の前記高調波数が2×M×(N−1)である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電気機械が、ギャップによって前記ステータから分離された永久磁石ロータをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ギャップが、動作中、流体で少なくとも部分的に充填される、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記ギャップ中の前記流体の実質的な部分が可燃性流体を含む、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記Nモジュールの各々のための前記第1および第2の出力ポートが、電圧バスの前記第1のノードと第2のノードとの間に直列に接続される、請求項1に記載のシステム。

- 電気機械エネルギー変換を可能にする方法であって、
対応する複数のスロットによって分離された一連の歯状構造体をもつステータと、
前記複数のスロット中に実質的に対称に配置され、いくつか(N)の組のマルチプル(M)相巻線を形成するように接続された複数のコイル中に形成された複数の導体であって、前記巻線の各々に対して、前記コイルの各々が全節巻を形成するように単一極にまたがり、前記N組の巻線の各々が、動作中第1の周波数範囲内の磁束の高調波含有量を実質的に低減するように互いに対して実質的にオフセットされる複数の導体と
を含む電気機械を供給するステップと、
前記N組の巻線の各々に対応する実質的に独立したNモジュールを含む処理ステージを使用して、前記電気機械と電圧バスとの間のエネルギーを処理するステップであって、前記Nモジュールの各々が前記対応するM巻線の各々に接続するためのM入力ポートを有し、第1および第2の出力ポートを有し、前記Nモジュールの各々に対する前記第1および第2の出力ポートが、前記電圧バスの第1のノードおよび第2のノードに接続可能であるステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記電気機械を、第2の数(N2)の組のマルチプル(M)相巻線をもつ第2の電気機械と取り替えるステップをさらに含み、前記巻線の各々に対して、前記コイルの各々が全節巻を形成するように単一極にまたがり、前記N2組の巻線の各々が、動作中第2の周波数範囲内の第2の磁束の高調波含有量を実質的に低減するように互いに対して実質的にオフセットされる、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記処理ステージを、前記対応するM巻線の各々に接続するためのM入力ポートを有し、第1および第2の出力ポートを有するN2モジュールを含む第2の処理ステージと取り替えるステップをさらに含み、前記N2モジュールの各々に対する前記第1および第2の出力ポートが、前記電圧バスの前記第1のノードおよび前記第2のノードに接続可能である、請求項20に記載の方法。
