Abstract
種類以上の配線が層間絶縁膜を介して基板上に配置される表示装置において、配線が高密度化する場合やプローブの先端が摩耗する場合であっても、接触式配線検査を常に正確に実施することが可能な表示装置を提供すること。
【解決手段】
2種類以上の配線(L1,L2)が層間絶縁膜(IL)を介して基板(SUB1)上に配置される表示装置において、該基板の表示領域外の少なくとも一部領域では、該層間絶縁膜(IL)の上側に並列に配置される複数の上層配線(L2)を有し、該層間絶縁膜の下側に配置される下層配線(L1)が該上層配線の間又は該上層配線に隣接して配置され、該上層配線の表面が該基板上の最も高い位置に位置するように、該上層配線の下方に高さを調整するための調整層(D)を配置することを特徴とする。

Claims (7)
- 2種類以上の配線が層間絶縁膜を介して基板上に配置される表示装置において、
該基板の表示領域外の少なくとも一部領域では、該層間絶縁膜の上側に並列に配置される複数の上層配線を有し、該層間絶縁膜の下側に配置される下層配線が該上層配線の間又は該上層配線に隣接して配置され、該上層配線の表面が該基板上の最も高い位置に位置するように、該上層配線の下方に高さを調整するための調整層を配置することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の表示装置において、該一部領域は、接触式配線検査時のプローブが接触する領域であることを特徴とする表示装置。
- 請求項2に記載の表示装置において、該調整層は、該下層配線と同時に形成されることを特徴とする表示装置。
- 請求項2に記載の表示装置において、該調整層は、電気的に孤立していることを特徴とする表示装置。
- 請求項3に記載の表示装置において、該調整層は、該下層配線同士を接続する接続部分であることを特徴とする表示装置。
- 請求項2に記載の表示装置において、該一部領域では、該上層配線の線幅及び該調整層の幅は、該表示領域内にある該上層配線の線幅より太いことを特徴とする表示装置。
- 請求項2に記載の表示装置において、該表示装置は、液晶表示装置であり、該基板は、薄膜トランジスタが形成される基板であり、該下層配線は共通配線を構成し、該上層配線はドレイン線又はゲート線のいずれかであることを特徴とする表示装置。
