Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明の頭部保護エアバッグ23は、袋織りして製造されるとともに、車内側壁部26aと車外側壁部26bとを重ねるように平らに展開した形状を、略長方形板状として、膨張完了時に窓の車内側を覆う構成とされる遮蔽本体部24と、遮蔽本体部24の上縁側から上方に突出するとともに遮蔽本体部24の上縁を窓の上縁側に取り付ける複数の取付部41と、遮蔽本体部24の上縁側から上方に突出するとともに遮蔽本体部24内に膨脹用ガスを流入させる略筒状の接続口部50と、を備える。取付部41及び接続口部50が、袋織りされた遮蔽本体部24と別体とされて、遮蔽本体部24に連結されて構成されている。

Description
車内側壁部と車外側壁部との間に膨張用ガスを流入させて膨張する膨張部と、内部に膨張用ガスを流入させない非膨張部と、を有して、袋織りして製造されるとともに、車内側壁部と車外側壁部とを重ねるように平らに展開した形状を、略長方形板状として、膨張完了時に窓の車内側を覆う構成とされる遮蔽本体部と、
遮蔽本体部の上縁側から上方に突出するとともに、遮蔽本体部の上縁を窓の上縁側に取り付ける複数の取付部と、
遮蔽本体部の上縁側から上方に突出するとともに、上端側に、インフレーターに接続させるための挿入用開口を有して、遮蔽本体部の膨張部内に膨張用ガスを流入させる略筒状の接続口部と、
を備え、
取付部及び接続口部が、袋織りされた遮蔽本体部と別体とされて、遮蔽本体部に連結されて構成されていることを特徴とする。
接続口部を、遮蔽本体部と連通される下縁側を上側に向けるように反転させて、開口の周縁に縫着させて、遮蔽本体部に連結させた構成とすることが好ましい。
遮蔽本体部の上縁側に、取付部を結合させ、
接続口部を構成する接続口部用素材を、
挿入用開口を構成する上縁を下方に位置させるように、反転させた状態で、開口から、遮蔽本体部内部に挿入させて、遮蔽本体部と接続される下縁を、遮蔽本体部における開口周縁に、縫合糸を用いて縫着させ、
その後、反転状態を解除するように、遮蔽本体部から突出させ、前後方向側の縁部相互を結合させ、かつ、遮蔽本体部の開口の残部を相互に結合させて、接続口部を、形成するとともに、遮蔽本体部に対して連結させている。

Claims (6)
- 車両の車内側における窓の上縁側に折り畳まれて収納され、上縁側を前記車両のボディ側に取付固定させて、インフレーターからの膨張用ガスを流入させて収納部位から下方に突出しつつ、前記窓の車内側を覆うように展開膨張する構成の頭部保護エアバッグであって、
車内側壁部と車外側壁部との間に膨張用ガスを流入させて膨張する膨張部と、内部に膨張用ガスを流入させない非膨張部と、を有して、袋織りして製造されるとともに、前記車内側壁部と前記車外側壁部とを重ねるように平らに展開した形状を、略長方形板状として、膨張完了時に前記窓の車内側を覆う構成とされる遮蔽本体部と、
該遮蔽本体部の上縁側から上方に突出するとともに、前記遮蔽本体部の上縁を前記窓の上縁側に取り付ける複数の取付部と、
前記遮蔽本体部の上縁側から上方に突出するとともに、上端側に、前記インフレーターに接続させるための挿入用開口を有して、前記遮蔽本体部の前記膨張部内に膨脹用ガスを流入させる略筒状の接続口部と、
を備え、
前記取付部及び前記接続口部が、袋織りされた前記遮蔽本体部と別体とされて、前記遮蔽本体部に連結されて構成されていることを特徴とする頭部保護エアバッグ。 - 前記遮蔽本体部の上縁側に、前記接続口部連結用の開口が、形成され、
前記接続口部が、前記遮蔽本体部と連通される下縁側を、上側に向けるように反転させて、前記開口の周縁に縫着されて、前記遮蔽本体部に連結されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の頭部保護エアバッグ。 - 前記接続口部を構成する接続口部用素材が、前記遮蔽本体部における非膨張部の部位から切り抜かれて、形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の頭部保護エアバッグ。
- 前記非膨張部において、前記接続口部用素材を切り抜いて形成される開口が、別体の閉塞部材により、閉塞されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の頭部保護エアバッグ。
- 車両の車内側における窓の上縁側に折り畳まれて収納され、上縁側を前記車両のボディ側に取付固定させて、インフレーターからの膨脹用ガスを流入させて収納部位から下方に突出しつつ、前記窓の車内側を覆うように展開膨張する構成の頭部保護エアバッグの製造方法であって、
該エアバッグが、
車内側壁部と車外側壁部との間に膨張用ガスを流入させて膨張する膨張部と、前記車内側壁部と前記車外側壁部とを結合させるように構成されて内部に膨張用ガスを流入させない非膨張部と、を有して、袋織りして製造されるとともに、前記車内側壁部と前記車外側壁部とを重ねるように平らに展開した形状を、略長方形板状として、膨張完了時に前記窓の車内側を覆う構成とされる遮蔽本体部と、
該遮蔽本体部の上縁側から突出するように形成されて前記遮蔽本体部を前記窓の上縁側に取り付けるとともに、前記遮蔽本体部と別体とされて前記遮蔽本体部に結合される複数の取付部と、
前記遮蔽本体部の上縁側から上方に突出するとともに、上端側に前記インフレーターに接続させるための挿入用開口を有して、前記遮蔽本体部の前記膨張部内に膨脹用ガスを流入させる略筒状とされる接続口部と、
を備える構成とされ、
前記遮蔽本体部が、遮蔽本体部素材を、直列的に連続させ、かつ、複数個並設させるように織成させたエアバッグ用素材を裁断して、製造されるとともに、上縁側の一部を開口させるようにして、製造され、
前記遮蔽本体部の上縁側に、前記取付部を結合させ、
前記接続口部を構成する接続口部用素材を、
前記挿入用開口を構成する上縁を下方に位置させるように、反転させた状態で、前記開口から、前記遮蔽本体部内部に挿入させて、前記遮蔽本体部と接続される下縁を、前記遮蔽本体部における開口周縁に、縫合糸を用いて縫着させ、
その後、反転状態を解除するように、前記遮蔽本体部から突出させ、前後方向側の縁部相互を結合させ、かつ、前記遮蔽本体部の開口の残部を相互に結合させて、前記接続口部を、形成するとともに、前記遮蔽本体部に対して連結させていることを特徴とする頭部保護エアバッグの製造方法。 - 前記接続口部用素材が、前記遮蔽本体部における非膨張部の部位から切り抜かれて、形成されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の頭部保護エアバッグの製造方法。
