Abstract
【解決手段】フィルタ支持部材41の下面と積層体37に含まれるプレート42の対向表面42cとの間には、対向表面42cと接触するように2つのヒータ34、35が挟まれて配置されている。積層体37内の流路を流れるインクは、2つのヒータ34、35によって効果的に暖められ、アクチュエータユニット21が固定された流路ユニット9に供給される。

Claims (10)
- 液体が外部から供給される第1液体供給流路が形成された第1流路体と、
前記第1液体供給流路に接続された第2液体供給流路、及び、前記第2液体供給流路に接続された複数の流入流路が形成された第2流路体と、
前記複数の流入流路に接続された一又は複数の共通液体流路、及び、前記一又は複数の共通液体流路の出口から圧力室を経て吐出口に到る複数の個別液体流路が形成された第3流路体と、
複数の前記圧力室内の液体に吐出エネルギーを付与する複数のエネルギー付与部材とを備えており、
前記第1流路体と前記第2流路体と前記第3流路体とが、前記複数の流入流路から前記一又は複数の共通液体流路への液体の流入方向に積層された積層体となっており、
前記第1流路体の一表面と前記一表面に対向した前記第2流路体の対向表面とに挟まれた一又は複数のヒータをさらに備えていることを特徴とする液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記第2液体供給流路が、前記対向表面に沿って延在する第1延在領域を有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記第2液体供給流路が、前記第1延在領域よりも下流に、前記対向表面に沿って延在し且つ前記積層体の積層方向に沿って前記第1延在領域と重なり合った第2延在領域をさらに有していることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記対向表面に2つの前記ヒータが配置されており、
前記第2液体供給流路が、それぞれ異なる前記ヒータに対向する2つの前記第1延在領域を有していることを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記第2流路体内において、前記2つの第1延在領域の下流領域同士が合流しており、さらに前記合流した位置よりも下流において前記複数の流入流路が前記第2液体供給流路に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記2つの第1延在領域のうちの一方の前記第1延在領域の入口から前記合流した位置までの流路抵抗が、他方の前記第1延在領域の入口から前記合流した位置までの流路抵抗に等しいことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 各ヒータが、前記第2流路体の長手方向に細長い形状を有しており、
前記2つのヒータは、その長手方向が前記第2流路体の前記長手方向と一致するように、前記第2流路体の前記長手方向に沿って配列されており、
前記2つのヒータを結ぶ線分の中間点が前記第2流路体の中心と一致していることを特徴とする請求項4〜6のいずれか1項に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記第2延在領域の入口から出口までの長さが、前記第1延在領域の入口から出口までの長さと同じであることを特徴とする請求項3〜7のいずれか1項に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記第2流路体が、前記第1流路体よりも熱伝導率の高い材料からなり、前記一又は複数のヒータが前記第2流路体と接触していることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記第1流路体と前記第2流路体との間には、間隙が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
