Abstract
Description
本国際出願は、2006年4月11日に出願された米国特許出願第11/401,633号の一部継続である2006年8月1日に出願された米国特許一部継続出願第11/461,680号に対する優先権を主張する。これらの出願は、その全体が本明細書中に援用される。

実施例3は、上記に記載され、図3に関連して説明されたパッケージ200の好ましい実施形態である。パッケージは、上記および好ましくは実施例1および/または2に関連して記載されたフィルム構造体で製造され得る。特に、パッケージ200は、医療機器のためのものであり得る。各パッケージは、長さ約5.25インチおよび幅約2.25インチでよい。パッケージの周囲に作られるヒートシールは、幅約0.25インチである。ヒートシールを考慮に入れると、各パッケージは、約16.6平方インチの全露出内部表面を有するであろう。
以下の表3は、単層フィルムとして押出されるかあるいは結合または接着層などの第2の層と共押出されて、次にバリア層、別の結合または接着層、任意的な印刷またはプライマー層、および酷使層などの他のフィルム層に積層されるシーラントフィルム層のための好ましいフィルム構造体およびゲージを説明する。シーラントフィルムのそれぞれはインフレーション押出法によって製造されるが、成型押出などの他の方法も利用可能である。
表4は本発明の実施形態を説明しており、実施例4のような上記のシーラントフィルム層は他のフィルム層に積層され、シーラントフィルム構造体を形成する。
表5は本発明の実施形態を説明しており、実施例5の上記のシーラントフィルム層は他のフィルム層に積層され、シーラントフィルム構造体を形成する。
表6は本発明の実施形態を説明しており、実施例6の上記のシーラントフィルム層は他のフィルム層に積層され、シーラントフィルム構造体を形成する。
あるいは、実施例7〜9に関連して上記で記載したシーラントフィルム構造体のそれぞれは同一のフィルム構造体へヒートシールされて、医薬品または栄養補助食品などの感湿性の製品のための空間を内部に有するパッケージを提供することができる。
表7は、実施例7〜9に関連して上記で記載したシーラントフィルム構造体へヒートシールされ得る代替のフィルム構造体を説明する。シーラントフィルム構造体は、ある量の乾燥材料を含むヒートシーラント層を有するベース構造体にヒートシールすることができる。
本発明の実施形態では、医療システムは、約90%よりも高い相対湿度環境下で水分捕捉性ポーチ内に包装された薬剤溶出ステントを含む。TAXUSTM(マサチューセッツ州ナティックのBoston Scientific)パクリタキセル溶出ステントは、折り畳まれて3辺に沿って密封された表8に記載される材料を含む2枚の多層フィルムを含む水分捕捉性ポーチに入れられる。ポーチは、図4に示されるパッケージ200と同様に構想され得る。表8は、印刷層を除く各層に対応する参照番号を含む。剥離性HDPE層は製品接触層110である。
本発明の実施形態は、表8に記載される実施例15の水分捕捉性ポーチなどの多層フィルムパッケージ内の薬剤溶出ステントの殺菌を増大する方法である。この方法は、開放ポーチ内の薬剤溶出ステント、シロリムス溶出CYPHERTMステント(フロリダ州マイアミレイクスのCordis Corporation)を、少なくとも約60%の相対湿度の雰囲気中において約125°Fの温度で約1時間、少なくとも約500mg/Lの濃度のETOに暴露することを含む。ETOガスは実質的に排出され、次に水分捕捉性ポーチは密封され、最初は、ポーチ内の薬剤溶出ステントのまわりに約60%の雰囲気の相対湿度が提供される。水分は剥離性HDPE層110を通って拡散し、第1の水分捕捉層112内のモレキュラーシーブ乾燥剤によって迅速に吸収される。
Claims (11)
- 第1のフィルム構造体および第2のフィルム構造体を含むパッケージであって、
前記第1のフィルム構造体が、
第1のバリア層、
第1の乾燥剤層、
第1の製品接触層、および
第1の非水系接着剤を含み、
前記第2のフィルム構造体が、
第2のバリア層、
第2の乾燥剤層、
第2の製品接触層、および
第2の非水系接着剤製品接触層を含み、
前記第1のバリア層が、ポリ塩化ビニリデンアクリル酸メチルコポリマー、高密度フルオロカーボンポリマー、シクロオレフィンコポリマー、金属箔、ナイロン、高密度ポリエチレン、配向ポリプロピレン、成型ポリプロピレン、金属化配向ポリプロピレン、および金属化ポリエステルからなる群から選択される1つまたは複数の材料を含み、
前記第1の乾燥剤層が化学的乾燥剤を含み、
前記第1の乾燥剤層および前記第2の乾燥剤層が合わせて、約36時間未満の期間内に、前記パッケージの内部の相対湿度を約50%よりも高い値から約10%よりも低い値に変更する容量を有するパッケージ。 - 前記第1の乾燥剤層が約20〜40重量%の乾燥剤および約60〜80重量%の高分子材料を含む、請求項1に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記第2の乾燥剤層が約20〜40重量%の乾燥剤および約60〜80重量%の高分子材料を含む、請求項1または2に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記第1のバリア層が約75ミクロン以下の厚さを有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記第1の乾燥剤層がさらにモレキュラーシーブ乾燥剤を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記第2の乾燥剤層が化学的乾燥剤およびモレキュラーシーブ乾燥剤を含む、請求項5に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記製品接触層が、ポリ塩化ビニル、シクロオレフィンコポリマー、高密度ポリエチレン、またはシクロオレフィンコポリマーおよび高密度ポリエチレンとの混合物からなる群から選択される1つまたは複数の材料を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記第1のフィルム構造体が前記第2のフィルム構造体に密封される、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記第1の乾燥剤層の前記化学的乾燥剤が、酸化カルシウム、酸化マグネシウム、酸化バリウム、水酸化バリウム、酸化ストロンチウムおよび酸化アルミニウムからなる群から選択される1つまたは複数の材料を含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記第1の乾燥剤層の前記モレキュラーシーブ乾燥剤が、約4オングストローム以下の細孔径を有する結晶性アルミノシリケートを含む、請求項5に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記パッケージが感湿性の薬剤溶出ステントを前記パッケージの内部に含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のパッケージ。
