Abstract
Description
本特許出願は、2005年10月27日に出願され、本願の譲受人に譲渡された「METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING MOBILE BROADBAND WIRELESS LOWER MAC」と題する米国仮特許出願第60/731126号明細書の優先権を主張し、これを明示的に参照により本明細書に援用する。

本開示は、包括的には無線通信に関し、特に、アクティブ状態(Active state)においてSectorParametersメッセージを送受信する方法及び装置に関する。
無線通信システムは広く普及した手段になっており、無線通信システムによって世界中の大多数の人々が通信するようになっている。無線通信装置は、消費者のニーズを満たし、可搬性及び利便性を向上させるために、より小型且つより強力になっている。携帯電話のような移動装置の処理能力の増大は、無線ネットワーク伝送システムに対する需要の増大に繋がっている。通常、このようなシステムは、そのシステムを介して通信するセルラ装置ほど容易には更新されない。移動装置の能力が拡大するにつれて、無線装置の新規の能力及び改良された能力の十分な利用を促進するように旧式の無線ネットワークシステムを維持することが難しくなる可能性がある。

Claims (10)
- アクティブ状態においてSectorParametersメッセージを送信する方法であって、
NOMPSectorParametersで割り切れるスーパーフレーム番号において、順方向トラフィックチャネル媒体アクセス制御(MAC)を介してSectorParametersメッセージを送信することと、
ExtendedChannelInfoメッセージのSectorSignatureフィールドを次のSectorParametersメッセージのSectorSignatureフィールドにセットすることと、
マルチキャリアモードがMultiCarrierOnであるか否かを判断することと、
前記SectorParametersメッセージを各キャリア上で送信することと
を特徴とする、方法。 - 記憶されている命令を含むコンピュータ可読媒体であって、
NOMPSectorParametersで割り切れるスーパーフレーム番号において、順方向トラフィックチャネル媒体アクセス制御(MAC)を介してSectorParametersメッセージを送信するための第1の命令セットと、
ExtendedChannelInfoメッセージのSectorSignatureフィールドを次のSectorParametersメッセージのSectorSignatureフィールドにセットするための第2の命令セットと、
マルチキャリアモードがMultiCarrierOnであるか否かを判断するための第3の命令セットと、
前記SectorParametersメッセージを各キャリア上で送信するための第4の命令セットと
を特徴とする、コンピュータ可読媒体。 - 無線通信システムにおいて動作可能な装置であって、
NOMPSectorParametersで割り切れるスーパーフレーム番号において、順方向トラフィックチャネル媒体アクセス制御(MAC)を介してSectorParametersメッセージを送信する手段と、
ExtendedChannelInfoメッセージのSectorSignatureフィールドを次のSectorParametersメッセージのSectorSignatureフィールドにセットする手段と、
マルチキャリアモードがMultiCarrierOnであるか否かを判断する手段と、
前記SectorParametersメッセージを各キャリア上で送信する手段と
を特徴とする、装置。 - アクティブ状態においてSectorParametersメッセージを処理する方法であって、
SectorParametersメッセージを受信することと、
パブリックデータが前記受信されたSectorParametersメッセージと同じSectorIDを有するSectorParametersメッセージを含むか否かを判断することと
を特徴とする、方法。 - 前記受信されたSectorParametersメッセージのSectorParametersSignatureを、記憶されているSectorParametersメッセージ内のSectorParametersSignatureと比較することと、
前記シグネチャが整合しないかどうかを判断することと、
前記パブリックデータ内の前記SectorParametersメッセージを前記受信されたSectorParametersメッセージで置き換えることと、
前記セクタがアクティブセットのメンバであるか否かを判断することと、
SectorParametersUpdatedインジケーション及びOverheadMessagesUpdatedインジケーションを返すことと
を特徴とする、請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記受信されたSectorParametersメッセージを前記パブリックデータに追加することと、
前記セクタがアクティブセットのメンバであるか否かを判断することと、
SectorParametersUpdatedインジケーション及びOverheadMessagesUpdatedインジケーションを返すことと、
前記アクティブセット内にないセクタに対応する古いSectorParametersメッセージを削除することと
を特徴とする、請求項4に記載の方法。 - 記憶されている命令を含むコンピュータ可読媒体であって、
SectorParametersメッセージを受信するための第1の命令セットと、
パブリックデータが前記受信されたSectorParametersメッセージと同じSectorIDを有するSectorParametersメッセージを含むか否かを判断するための第2の命令セットと
を特徴とする、コンピュータ可読媒体。 - 無線通信システムにおいて動作可能な装置であって、
SectorParametersメッセージを受信する手段と、
パブリックデータが前記受信されたSectorParametersメッセージと同じSectorIDを有するSectorParametersメッセージを含むか否かを判断する手段と
を特徴とする、装置。 - 前記受信されたSectorParametersメッセージのSectorParametersSignatureを、記憶されている前記SectorParametersメッセージ内の前記SectorParametersSignatureと比較する手段と、
前記シグネチャが整合しないかどうかを判断する手段と、
前記パブリックデータ内の前記SectorParametersメッセージを前記受信されたSectorParametersメッセージで置き換える手段と、
前記セクタがアクティブセットのメンバであるか否かを判断する手段と、
SectorParametersUpdatedインジケーション及びOverheadMessagesUpdatedインジケーションを返す手段と
を特徴とする、請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記受信されたSectorParametersメッセージを前記パブリックデータに追加する手段と、
前記セクタがアクティブセットのメンバであるか否かを判断する手段と、
SectorParametersUpdatedインジケーション及びOverheadMessagesUpdatedインジケーションを返す手段と、
前記アクティブセット内にないセクタに対応する古いSectorParametersメッセージを削除する手段と
を特徴とする、請求項8に記載の装置。
