Claims (11)
- 多層物品であって、
支持体層、および
前記支持体層上のサブミクロン繊維層、
を含み、前記サブミクロン繊維層が、1ミクロン(μm)未満の中央繊維直径を有する高分子繊維を含み、その高分子繊維が、前記サブミクロン繊維層内で均一に分布しているか又は均一に分布しておらず、多層物品。 - 前記高分子繊維が、0.3μm〜0.9μmまでの範囲の平均繊維直径を有する、請求項1に記載の多層物品。
- 前記高分子繊維が、0.5μm〜0.7μmまでの範囲の平均繊維直径を有する、請求項1に記載の多層物品。
- 前記高分子繊維が、ポリオレフィン繊維類、ポリプロピレン繊維類、ポリエチレン繊維類、ポリエステル繊維類、ポリエチレンテレフタレート繊維類、ポリブチレンテレフタレート繊維類、ポリアミド繊維類、ポリウレタン繊維類、ポリブテン繊維類、ポリ乳酸繊維類、ポリビニルアルコール繊維類、ポリフェニレンスルフィド繊維類、ポリスルホン繊維類、液晶ポリマー繊維類、ポリエチレン−コ−酢酸ビニル繊維類、ポリアクリロニトリル繊維類、環状ポリオレフィン繊維類、またはこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の多層物品。
- 前記支持体層が、不織布、織布、ニット織物、発泡体層、フィルム、紙の層、裏面粘着層、またはこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の多層物品。
- 前記支持体層が、結合された短繊維類のウェブを含み、前記支持体層が、熱接着、冷間接合、接着剤結合、粉末結合剤、水流交絡法、電界紡糸、ニードルパンチ法、カレンダ処理、またはこれらの組み合わせを用いて結合される、請求項1に記載の多層物品。
- サブミクロン繊維層上に追加の層を更に含み、その追加の層が、色保有層、不織布、織布、ニット織物、発泡体層、フィルム、紙の層、粒子類の層、箔層、装飾的な布地層、膜、網状織物、メッシュ、配線網状組織、管状の網状組織、もしくはサブミクロン繊維層とは反対側の前記支持体層上の接着剤層、またはこれらの組み合わせを含むか、又は含まない、請求項1に記載の多層物品。
- 建物の壁、建物の天井、建物の壁もしくは天井を形成するための建築材料、金属シート、ガラス基材、ドア、窓、車両の構成要素、機械装置の構成要素、または電気器具の構成要素を含む基材に取り付けられる、請求項1に記載の多層物品。
- ある領域で音を吸収する方法であって、
前記領域の少なくとも一部を請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の多層物品で包囲する工程、
を含む、前記方法。 - 前記領域が、室内、車内、機械装置の部品、電気器具、事務所もしくは工場地帯の独立した防音領域、録音もしくは音響再生領域、映画館もしくはコンサートホールの室内、音が有害である無響室もしくは無響部屋、分析室もしくは分析部屋、または実験室もしくは実験部屋、ノイズから耳を隔離保護するための耳当てもしくは耳カバーを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記の包囲する工程が、前記サブミクロン繊維層を基材に取り付けることを含み、前記基材が、建物の壁、建物の天井、建物の壁もしくは天井を形成するための建築材料、金属シート、ガラス基材、ドア、窓、車両の構成要素、機械装置の構成要素、または電気器具の構成要素を含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
