Abstract
【解決手段】本発明のリチウム電池10は、シリコン負極1、リチウム混合金属酸化物正極3、負極1と正極3との間に配置されて貯留領域2を形成するセパレータ5、貯留領域2中に充填される電解質溶液、ならびにシリコン負極1、リチウム混合金属酸化物正極3、セパレータ5および電解質溶液を覆う封止構造6を含む。電解質溶液は有機溶媒、リチウム塩および添加剤を含む。添加剤はマレイミド化合物とビニレンカーボネートを含む。上記電解質溶液を用いたリチウム電池のシリコン負極はサイクル効率がより高く、動作寿命がより延長される。

Description
本出願は、出願日を2008年6月17日とする台湾特許出願第97122518号の優先権を主張するものであり、その全体がここに参照として組み入れられる。
本発明はリチウム電池に関し、より詳細にはシリコン負極を用いたリチウム電池およびその電解質溶液に関する。
添付の図面を参照に下記の詳細な説明および実施例を読めば、本発明をより十分に理解することができる。
シリコン粉末(Aldrich社より購入、99%、325mesh)をボール研磨して平均粒径を3μmにした。導電助剤としてのグラファイトKS6(Timcal社より購入)およびカーボンブラックスーパーP(carbon black super P、Timcal社より購入)と、バインダーとしてのスチレンブタジエンゴムL1571(Asahi Chemicals社より購入)およびカルボキシメチルセルロースWS−C(DKS International, Inc.より購入)と、上記ボール研磨したシリコン粉末とを成形し、シリコン電極を作製した。このシリコン電極を負極として用い、ボタン型電池を組み立てることができる。
EMC2体積部およびEC1体積部を取り、電解質溶液の有機溶媒とした。電解質溶液のリチウム塩であるLiPF6の濃度は1Mとした。
EMC2体積部およびEC1体積部を取り、電解質溶液の有機溶媒とした。電解質溶液のリチウム塩であるLiPF6の濃度は1Mとした。電解質溶液の添加剤は式12に示すとおりのビスマレイミドとし、その添加量が電解質溶液の0.5wt%を占めるようにした。
EMC2体積部およびEC1体積部を取り、電解質溶液の有機溶媒とした。電解質溶液のリチウム塩であるLiPF6の濃度は1Mとした。電解質溶液の添加剤はポリビスマレイミドとし、その添加量が電解質溶液の0.5wt%を占めるようにした。該ポリビスマレイミドは式12に示すビスマレイミドから重合したもので、その分子量は300から30000である。
EMC2体積部およびEC1体積部を取り、電解質溶液の有機溶媒とした。電解質溶液のリチウム塩であるLiPF6の濃度は1Mとした。電解質溶液の添加剤はビニレンカーボネートとし、その添加量が電解質溶液の2wt%を占めるようにした。

Claims (10)
- シリコン負極、
リチウム混合金属酸化物正極、
前記シリコン負極と前記リチウム混合金属酸化物正極との間に配置されて貯留領域(reservoir region)を形成するセパレータ、
前記貯留領域中に充填される電解質溶液、ならびに
前記シリコン負極、前記リチウム混合金属酸化物正極、前記セパレータ、および前記電解質溶液を覆う封止構造、
を含むリチウム電池であって、
前記電解質溶液が、
有機溶媒、
リチウム塩、および
添加剤を含み、
該添加剤が、
マレイミド、ビスマレイミド、ポリマレイミド、ポリビスマレイミド、マレイミドとビスマレイミドのコポリマー、またはこれらの混合物、および
ビニレンカーボネート
を含む、リチウム電池。 - 前記有機溶媒が、γ−ブチロラクトン(γ-butyrolactone)、エチレンカーボネート(ethylene carbonate)、プロピレンカーボネート(propylene carbonate)、ジエチルカーボネート(diethyl carbonate)、プロピルアセテート(propyl acetate)、ジメチルカーボネート(dimethyl carbonate)、エチルメチルカーボネート(ethylmethyl carbonate)、またはこれらの組み合わせを含む請求項1に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記リチウム塩が、LiPF6、LiBF4、LiAsF6、LiSbF6、LiClO4、LiAlCl4、LiGaCl4、LiNO3、LiC(SO2CF3)3、LiN(SO2CF3)2、LiSCN、LiO3SCF2CF3、LiC6F5SO3、LiO2CCF3、LiSO3F、LiB(C6H5)4、LiCF3SO3、またはこれらの組み合わせを含む請求項1または2に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記マレイミドが、N−フェニルマレイミド(N-phenylmaleimide)、N−(o−メチルフェニル)マレイミド(N-(o-methylphenyl) maleimide)、N−(m−メチルフェニル)マレイミド(N-(m-methylphenyl) maleimide)、N−(p−メチルフェニル)マレイミド(N-(p-methylphenyl) maleimide)、N−シクロヘキシルマレイミド(N-cyclohexylmaleimide)、マレイミド(maleimide)、マレイミドフェノール(maleimidophenol)、マレイミドベンゾシクロブテン(maleimidobenzocyclobutene)、リン含有マレイミド(phosphorous-containing maleimide)、ホスホン酸含有マレイミド(phosphonate-containing maleimide)、シロキサン含有マレイミド(siloxane-containing maleimide)、N−(4−テトラヒドロピラニル−オキシフェニル)マレイミド(N-(4-tetrahydropyranyl-oxyphenyl) maleimide)、または2,6−キシリルマレイミド(2,6-xylylmaleimide)を含む請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記シリコン負極がシリコン粉末からなり、該シリコン粉末の表面がさらに炭素膜によって覆われている請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記シリコン負極中における、前記炭素膜の重量比が10wt%から50wt%である請求項6に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記リチウム混合金属酸化物正極が、LiMnO2、LiMn2O4、LiCoO2、Li2Cr2O7、Li2CrO4、LiNiO2、LiFeO2、LiNixCo1−xO2、LiFePO4、LiMn0.5Ni0.5O2、LiMn1/3Co1/3Ni1/3O2、LiMc0.5Mn1.5O4、またはこれらの組み合わせを含み、このうち0<x<1であり、かつMcが二価金属である請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記リチウム混合金属酸化物正極がポリマーバインダーをさらに含み、該ポリマーバインダーが、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(poly(vinylidene fluoride))、スチレン−ブタジエンゴム(styrene-butadiene rubber)、ポリアミド(polyamide)、メラミン樹脂(melamine resin)、またはこれらの組み合わせを含む請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記セパレータが、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、またはこれらの組み合わせを含む請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のリチウム電池。
