エンジン及びカウンタ・モータの動力に対する偏向モータの動力補助の度合い(比率)は、主ドライブラインと副ドライブラインとの間のトルク偏向量を決定する。制動ベースのトルク偏向もまた、主ドライブラインと副ドライブラインとの間でトルクを偏向するのに使用され得る。
(1)エンジンが単独で、エンジン・ブレーキを用いることによって、自動車を減速させる場合がある。
(2)カウンタ・モータが、運動エネルギーを蓄積可能な電気的エネルギーに変換することによって、自動車を減速させる場合がある。
(3)偏向モータが、運動エネルギーを蓄積可能な電気的エネルギーに変換することによって、自動車を減速させる場合がある。
(4)基礎ブレーキが、自動車を減速させるのに使用される場合もある。
(5)上述の(1)〜(4)を任意に組み合わせる場合もある。

Claims (10)
- エネルギー蓄積装置、主ドライブライン組立体、及び、副ドライブライン組立体を含むハイブリッド電気自動車のパワートレイン・システムであって、
上記主ドライブライン組立体と上記副ドライブライン組立体との間で、機械的動力を伝達する動力伝達ボックス、
第一電気機械、及び、
第二電気機械、を備え、
上記第一電気機械は、選択的に、
(i)電力を動力に変換し、上記動力伝達ボックスを介して、上記主ドライブライン組立体及び上記副ドライブライン組立体の少なくとも一方に、動力を供給する、
(ii)上記主ドライブライン組立体及び上記副ドライブライン組立体の少なくとも一方から動力を受けて、動力を電力に変換する、及び、
(iii)自由回転する、
の少なくとも何れかを実行するように構成され、
上記第二電気機械は、選択的に、
(i)電力を動力に変換し、上記主ドライブライン組立体及び上記副ドライブライン組立体の少なくとも一方に、動力を供給する、
(ii)上記主ドライブライン組立体及び上記副ドライブライン組立体の少なくとも一方から動力を受けて、動力を電力に変換する、及び、
(iii)自由回転する、
の少なくとも何れかを実行するように構成される、パワートレイン・システム。 - 上記自動車はエンジンを含み、
上記第二電気機械は更に、上記エンジンから動力を選択的に受けるように構成される、請求項1に記載のパワートレイン・システム。 - 上記第一電気機械及び上記第二電気機械の一方によって生成された電力は、上記エネルギー蓄積装置に蓄積される、請求項1又は2に記載のパワートレイン・システム。
- 上記第一電気機械によって生成された電力は、上記第二電気機械によって使用される、請求項1乃至3の何れか一つに記載のパワートレイン・システム。
- 上記エネルギー蓄積装置によって蓄積された電力は、上記第一電気機械又は上記第二電気機械によって使用される、請求項1乃至4の何れか一つに記載のパワートレイン・システム。
- 上記主ドライブライン組立体及び上記副ドライブライン組立体と機械的に連結される遊星歯車列を更に備え、
上記遊星歯車列は、上記主ドライブライン組立体と上記副ドライブライン組立体との間の差動回転を許容するように構成される、請求項1乃至5の何れか一つに記載のパワートレイン・システム。 - 上記第一電気機械と機械的に連結される第一要素を含む遊星歯車列を更に備える、請求項1乃至5の何れか一つに記載のパワートレイン・システム。
- 上記遊星歯車列は、上記主ドライブライン組立体と機械的に連結される第二要素を更に備える、請求項7に記載のパワートレイン・システム。
- 上記遊星歯車列は、上記副ドライブライン組立体と機械的に連結される第三要素を更に備える、請求項8に記載のパワートレイン・システム。
- 上記第二電気機械によって生成された電力は、上記第一電気機械によって使用される、請求項1乃至9の何れか一つに記載のパワートレイン・システム。
