Abstract
本発明は、コードを構成する素線に、安定してゴムを被覆させることによって、特にゴム物品の補強コードにおけるゴムの浸入性を改善したコードの提供を可能にすることを目的とする。
【解決手段】
金属素線を押出機に導いて該押出機の口金からゴムと共に押出して該金属素線にゴムを被覆するに当たり、該口金内において複数本の金属素線を並列させてゴムと共に押出す。

Description
(1)金属素線を押出機に導いて該押出機の口金からゴムと共に押出して該金属素線にゴムを被覆するに当たり、該口金内において複数本の金属素線を並列させてゴムと共に押出すことを特徴とする金属素線のゴム被覆方法。
本発明の金属素線のゴム被覆方法について図面を参照して説明する。まず図1に金属素線をコードに撚り合わせて製造する工程を示す。
図1において、複数本の金属素線1、図示例のおいて3本の金属素線1をゴム被覆装置2へ供給し、金属素線1にゴム3を被覆した後、捩じりを遮断する装置4を介して、ゴム3を被覆した金属素線1aをガイド5の貫通孔に通過させる。そして、収束部6にて、金属素線1aを収束させたのち、撚り線機7へ供給し、この撚り線機7にて金属素線1aを撚り合せてコード8を作製する。
すなわち、図2に口金9の幅方向断面を示すように、複数本の金属素線1を口金9の入側から口金9内に並列させて導入できる開口幅を有し、金属素線1の周囲に一度にゴム3を被覆し、ゴム3と共に金属素線1aを押出す。ここで、金属素線1を口金9内にて並列させて導入させるには、金属素線1を口金9内に導入する前に、あらかじめ金属素線1の各々をガイドを用いることによって並列させておくことが良い。

Claims (9)
- 金属素線を押出機に導いて該押出機の口金からゴムと共に押出して該金属素線にゴムを被覆するに当たり、該口金内において複数本の金属素線を並列させてゴムと共に押出すことを特徴とする金属素線のゴム被覆方法。
- 金属素線を押出機に導いて該押出機の口金内において複数本の金属素線を並列させてゴムと共に押出した後、該ゴム被覆した複数本の金属素線を撚り線機に供給してコードを製造するに当たり、該撚り線機から前記ゴム被覆した金属素線に伝播する捩じりを前記口金の出側で遮断することを特徴とするコードの製造方法。
- 前記撚り線機はバンチャー型である請求項2に記載のコードの製造方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法にてゴム被覆した複数本の金属素線を撚り合わせて成る一層撚り構造を有するコード。
- 請求項1に記載の方法にてゴム被覆した複数本の金属素線をコアとして、該コアの周囲にシースとなる複数本の金属素線を配置し、該コアとシースとを同時に撚り合わせてなる一度撚り2層構造を有するコード。
- 請求項2で製造したコードをコアとして、該コアの周囲にシースとなる複数本の金属素線を撚り合わせてなる二度撚り2層構造を有するコード。
- 押出機と口金をそなえるゴム被覆装置であって、該装置の口金は、複数本の金属素線の並列配置が可能な幅を有することを特徴とするゴム被覆装置。
- 請求項7に記載のゴム被覆装置と撚り線機とを有するコードの製造装置であって、該ゴム被覆装置の出側に、撚り線機から金属素線に伝播する捩じりを遮断する装置を設置したことを特徴とするコードの製造装置。
- 前記捩じりの遮断装置は、多条プーリーである請求項8に記載のコードの製造装置。
