Abstract
Description
従来法の欠点を克服するために、本発明においては、水蒸気に対し透過性をもつが、空気および液体の水に対しては障壁性をもち、水の凝縮、並びに建築構造物の中における以後の成形型の膨張を最低限度に抑制する膜が提供される。
本発明の水蒸気を透過するが空気に対しては障壁性をもつ膜は、好ましくは陰イオン性または非イオン性のアクリル乳化物、少なくとも1種の水溶性の重合体、および随時炭酸カルシウム、タルク、砂、または他の粒子状(且つ好ましくは無機性の)材料のような充填剤、またはこれらの随時使用される充填剤の組み合わせを含んで成る液体組成物を、基
質の表面に注型することによってつくられる。
Claims (22)
- 建築物の表面に水蒸気透過性をもった空気障壁性の膜をつくるための液体組成物であって、該液体組成物は式
−(−CH2−CH2COOR−)−、
但し式中RはC2〜C8アルキル基を表す、
の反復基をもった少なくとも1種の疎水性のアクリル重合体を含んで成る乳化物を含んで成り、該少なくとも1種のアクリル重合体はガラス転移温度が−55〜0℃であって、組成物の全乾燥固体分含量に関し50重量%以上、97重量%以下の量で存在し;
該液体組成物はさらに炭酸カルシウム、タルク、粘土、シリカ、および二酸化チタンから成る群から選ばれる無機充填剤を含んで成り、該充填剤の少なくとも1種は全固体分に関して0〜50重量%の量で存在し;いずれの場合も該液体組成物の内部に含まれるすべての充填剤材料の全量は顔料容積濃度(PVC)が0〜25%であるような量で存在しており;
該液体組成物はさらに該液体組成物の全量の30重量%以上、50重量%以下の量で水を含んでおり、
該液体組成物はさらに該液体組成物の全乾燥固体分含量に関して3重量%以上、17重量%以下の量で少なくとも1種の水溶性の重合体を含んで成り、該少なくとも1種の水溶性の重合体は水中に4重量%含まれる場合2センチポイズ以上、50センチポイズ以下の溶液粘度を有することを特徴とする液体組成物。 - 該少なくとも1種の水溶性の重合体は、
数平均分子量が5,000以上で50,000以下のポリビニルアルコール、
数平均分子量が5,000以上で200,000以下のポリエチレンオキシド、および
数平均分子量が3,000以上で20,000以下のセルロースのメチルエーテルまたはエチルエーテルから成る群から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項1記載の組成物。 - 該少なくとも1種の水溶性の重合体は数平均分子量が5,000以上で50,000以下のポリビニルアルコールであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の組成物。
- 該少なくとも1種の水溶性の重合体は数平均分子量が5,000以上で200,000以下のポリエチレンオキシドであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の組成物。
- 該少なくとも1種の水溶性の重合体は数平均分子量が3,000以上で20,000以下のセルロースのメチルエーテルまたはエチルエーテルであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の組成物。
- 該少なくとも1種の充填剤は該組成物の全重量に関し少なくとも5重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の組成物。
- 該少なくとも1種の充填剤は該組成物の全乾燥重量に関し少なくとも1重量%の量で存在し、
顔料容積濃度は18%より大きくはないことを特徴とする請求項1記載の組成物。 - 該少なくとも1種の疎水性のアクリル重合体において、Rはエチル、プロピル、ブチル、オクチルまたはエチルヘキシルを表すことを特徴とする請求項1記載の組成物。
- 疎水性のメタ(アクリル)重合体をさらに含んで成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の組成物。
- 該少なくとも1種の疎水性のアクリル重合体はアクリル酸ブチル重合体であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の組成物。
- 該少なくとも1種の疎水性のアクリル重合体はアクリル酸ブチルおよびスチレンの共重合体であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の組成物。
- アクリル酸ブチル/スチレンのモル比は1.5よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項11記載の組成物。
- 該充填剤は炭酸カルシウムであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の組成物。
- 該充填剤は該組成物の全固体分の重量に関し少なくとも1重量%の量で存在し、その平均の粒子の大きさは0.1μm以上で50μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の組成物。
- 該ポリビニルアルコールは80〜90%の加水分解度をもっていることを特徴とする請求項3記載の組成物。
- 該ポリビニルアルコールは90〜100%の加水分解度をもっていることを特徴とする請求項3記載の組成物。
- 請求項1記載の組成物で基質表面を被覆することによってつくられた膜。
- セメント性、木材、または石膏の基質の上に請求項1記載の組成物を被覆することを含んで成ることを特徴とする水蒸気を透過し得る膜をつくる方法。
- 請求項1記載の組成物で被覆された建築用のパネルまたはセメント性のボディーを含んで成る複合体。
- 平均の厚さが20ミル以上で100ミル以下であることを特徴とする請求項17記載の膜。
- 平均の厚さが40ミル以上であることを特徴とする請求項17記載の膜。
- 平均の厚さが40ミル以上で100ミル以下であり、ASTM E−96による水 蒸気透過性は2perms以上で20perms以下であり、伸びは200%以上で1000%以下であり、1日間水に浸漬した後の水吸収値は50%より小さく、顔料容積濃度は0〜25%であることを特徴とする請求項17記載の膜。
