Abstract
【解決手段】凹凸意匠面を有する原板2の表面に、下塗り層3、中塗り層4が順に形成され、該中塗り層の表面にビーズ5が混入された第1クリヤー層5が形成され、該第1クリヤー層の表面であって、該意匠面の凸部から凹部に向かう凸部縁角から近傍部分にかけて透明または半透明の第2クリヤー層6が形成されている外壁板である。

Description
ビーズは,上記第1クリヤー層5に5〜20重量%混入させてあることが好ましい。これにより,上記第1クリヤー層5に上記透明または半透明の第2クリヤー層6の塗料が一層確実に塗装されるため,耐候性の不具合を一層確実に防ぐことができる。上記ビーズの上記第1クリヤー層5に対する混入量が5重量%未満の場合には,本発明の効果が充分に発揮されないおそれがある。一方,上記混入量が20重量%を超える場合には,第1クリヤー層5の粘度,チクソ性,ビーズ沈降による貯蔵の安定性が低下し,確実な塗装が行えないおそれがある。上記ビーズ51は、直径50〜150μmの無色透明又は凸部色と同系の淡色でも反対色でもよく、ビーズ51の材質は、メチルメタルアクリレートポリマー或いはアクリルニトリル又は、ガラス粒子、タルク、炭酸カルシュウム等を主成分とする球状や扁平状のものである。
本例においては,まず上記凹凸意匠面を有する原板2を準備する。そして、該原板2の全面に下塗塗料(シーラー)をスプレーすることにより下塗り層3を設ける(図1(A))。次いで,該下塗り層3の上に,中塗り塗料を全面スプレーすることにより、中塗り層4を設ける(図1(B))。次いで、上記中塗り層4の上に多数のビーズ51を混入させた上塗りクリヤー塗料を全面にスプレーすることにより、多数のビーズが散在した第1クリヤー層5を設ける(図1(C))。次いで、上記第1クリヤー層5の凸部とその端部近傍に、透明クリヤー塗料をロールコーテイングをすることにより、第2クリヤー層6を設ける(図1(D))。これにより、上記原板2とその塗布面10の上に、下塗り層3、中塗り層4、第1クリヤー層5、第2クリヤー層6を設けてなる外壁板1が得られる(図1(D))。図2は、図1の中央凸部の拡大図を示す。
本実施例は、第1クリヤー層5と第2クリヤー層6の実施であるが、中塗り塗装4と上塗り塗装5との間や第1クリヤー層5と第2クリヤー層6との間に、インクジェット塗装やグラビア印刷やオフセット印刷することによりインク層13を設けて、更なる意匠性を付加しても良い。

比較例においては,まず上記実施例と同様に凹凸意匠面を有する原板2を準備し、該原板2の全面に下塗塗料(シーラー)をスプレーすることにより下塗り層3を設ける(図1(A))。次いで,該下塗り層3の上に,中塗り塗料を全面スプレーすることにより、中塗り層4を設ける(図1(B))。次いで、上記中塗り層4の上に多数のビーズ51を混入させた上塗りクリヤー塗料を全面にスプレーすることにより、多数のビーズが散在したクリヤー層5を設ける(図1(C))。その後、全面に、多数のビーズが散在したクリヤー層5を設けることにより、全体が艶消し状態の塗膜面10となる。その比較を図3と図4の拡大図面で示す。

- 凹凸意匠面を有する原板の表面に、下塗り層、中塗り層が順に形成され、該中塗り層の表面にビーズが混入された第1クリヤー層が形成され、該第1クリヤー層の表面であって、該意匠面の凸部から凹部に向かう凸部縁角から近傍部分にかけて透明または半透明の第2クリヤー層が形成されていることを特徴とする外壁板。
- 前記凸部縁角より凹部に向かう傾斜面の傾斜角度は30度以上であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の外壁板。
- 前記請求項1または請求項2のいずれか一項において、前記第2クリヤー層の厚膜層の厚さは、10μm以上であることを特徴とする外壁板。
- 凹凸意匠面を有する原板の表面に、下塗り層、中塗り層を順に形成する第1の塗装工程と、該中塗り層の表面にビーズが混入された第1クリヤー層を形成する第2の塗装工程と、該第1クリヤー層の表面であって、該凸部から凹部に向かう凸部縁角から近傍部分に透明または半透明の第2クリヤー層を形成する第3の塗装工程とを含むことを特徴とする外壁板の塗装方法。
