老化防止剤:大内新興化学工業(株)製のノクラック6C(N−1,3−ジメチルブチル−N’−フェニル−p−フェニレンジアミン)
ステアリン酸:日本油脂(株)製
酸化亜鉛:三井金属鉱業(株)製の亜鉛華1号
硫黄:鶴見化学工業(株)製の粉末硫黄
加硫促進剤:大内新興化学工業(株)のノクセラーNS(N−t−ブチル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド)
(芳香族ビニル重合体(1)の合成)
充分に窒素置換した100ml容器に、シクロヘキサン50ml、テトラヒドロフラン2ml、スチレン5gおよび1.6mol/lのn−ブチルリチウムヘキサン水溶液6.2mlを混入し、室温で1時間撹拌した後、メタノール2mlを添加することで反応を停止させ、芳香族ビニル重合体(1)を合成した。
メタノール2mlのかわりにスチレンオキシド1.2mlを添加したこと以外は芳香族ビニル重合体(1)と同様に、芳香族ビニル重合体(2)を合成した。
スチレン5gのかわりに1−ビニルナフタレン7.5gを混入し、メタノール2mlのかわりに、スチレンオキシド1.2mlを添加したこと以外は芳香族ビニル重合体(1)と同様に、芳香族ビニル重合体(3)を合成した。
メタノール2mlのかわりにプロピレンスルフィド0.8mlを添加したこと以外は芳香族ビニル重合体(1)と同様に、芳香族ビニル重合体(4)を合成した。
メタノール2mlを添加する前に、炭酸ガスを30分間バブリングしたこと以外は芳香族ビニル重合体(1)と同様に、芳香族ビニル重合体(5)を合成した。
メタノール2mlを添加する前に、二硫化炭素0.6mlを添加したこと以外は芳香族ビニル重合体(1)と同様に、芳香族ビニル重合体(6)を合成した。
メタノール2mlを添加する前に、1,3−プロパンスルトン0.9mlを添加したこと以外は芳香族ビニル重合体(1)と同様に、芳香族ビニル重合体(7)を合成した。
充分に窒素置換した200ml容器に、シクロヘキサン50ml、蒸留水50ml、芳香族ビニル重合体(5)5.0gおよび水酸化マグネシウム0.4gを添加し、室温で1時間撹拌し、芳香族ビニル重合体(8)を合成した。
水酸化マグネシウム0.4gのかわりに水酸化アルミニウム0.26gを添加したこと以外は芳香族ビニル重合体(8)と同様に、芳香族ビニル重合体(9)を合成した。
芳香族ビニル重合体(5)のかわりに芳香族ビニル重合体(7)を添加したこと以外は芳香族ビニル重合体(9)と同様に、芳香族ビニル重合体(10)を合成した。
メタノール2mlのかわりに酢酸エチル2.0mlを添加したこと以外は芳香族ビニル重合体(1)と同様に、芳香族ビニル重合体(11)を合成した。
芳香族ビニル重合体(2)(モノマー成分:スチレン、末端構造:−OH、Mw:700)
芳香族ビニル重合体(3)(モノマー成分:1−ビニルナフタレン、末端構造:−OH、Mw:950)
芳香族ビニル重合体(4)(モノマー成分:スチレン、末端構造:−SH、Mw:650)
芳香族ビニル重合体(5)(モノマー成分:スチレン、末端構造:−COOH、Mw:630)
芳香族ビニル重合体(6)(モノマー成分:スチレン、末端構造:−CSSH、Mw:660)
芳香族ビニル重合体(7)(モノマー成分:スチレン、末端構造:−SO3H、Mw:720)
芳香族ビニル重合体(8)(モノマー成分:スチレン、末端構造:−(COO)2Mg、Mw:1350)
芳香族ビニル重合体(9)(モノマー成分:スチレン、末端構造:−(COO)3Al、Mw:2050)
芳香族ビニル重合体(10)(モノマー成分:スチレン、末端構造:−(SO3)2Mg、Mw:2290)
芳香族ビニル重合体(11)(モノマー成分:スチレン、末端構造:−CO−CH3、Mw:700)
表1および表2に示す配合処方にしたがい、バンバリーミキサーを用いて、硫黄および加硫促進剤以外の薬品を150℃の条件下で5分間混練りし、混練り物を得た。次に、得られた混練り物に硫黄および加硫促進剤を添加し、オープンロールを用いて、50℃の条件下で5分間練り込み、未加硫ゴム組成物を得た。さらに、得られた未加硫ゴム組成物を170℃の条件下で20分間加硫することにより、実施例1〜14および比較例1〜2の加硫ゴム組成物を作製した。なお、以下の各評価試験において、実施例1〜10および比較例1(表1)では比較例1を、実施例11〜14および比較例2(表2)では比較例2を、それぞれ基準配合とした。
ランボーン型摩耗試験機を用いて、室温、負荷荷重1.0kgf、スリップ率30%の条件下で3分間摩耗させて摩耗重量を測定し、その摩耗重量を比重より摩耗体積(以下、摩耗量という)に換算した。そして、基準配合の耐摩耗性指数を100とし、下記計算式により、各配合の摩耗量を指数表示した。なお、耐摩耗性指数が大きいほど摩耗量が少なく、耐摩耗性に優れることを示す。
(耐摩耗性指数)=(基準配合の摩耗量)/(各配合の摩耗量)×100
前記未加硫ゴム組成物を、通常用いられる方法でカレンダーロールによってトレッド形状に押し出すことにより、トレッドを形成し、他のタイヤ部材と貼り合わせ、170℃の条件下で20分間加硫することにより、215/45R17サイズのタイヤを製造した。
Claims (4)
- ジエン系ゴム100重量部に対して、
末端が、−OH、−SH、−COOH、−CSSH、−SO3H、−(COO)xM、−(SO3)xMまたは−CO−R(Mはカチオン、xはMの価数に依存する1〜3の整数であり、Rはアルキル基である)に変性され、重量平均分子量が300〜10000である芳香族ビニル重合体を3〜200重量部含有するタイヤ用ゴム組成物。 - 芳香族ビニル重合体のモノマー成分が、スチレンまたはビニルナフタレンである請求項1記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物。
- ジエン系ゴム成分中におけるスチレンブタジエンゴムの含有率が60重量%以上である請求項1または2記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物。
- 請求項1、2または3記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物を用いたタイヤ。
