Claims (51)
- 患者の心室の駆出率を増加させる装置において、
近位面と遠位面を有すると共に、患者の心室を主な動作部分と2次的な非動作部分に区画するように構成された補強膜部品と、補強膜部品の遠位面によって部分的に画成される心室の非動作部分内に配置されると共に、補強膜部品から、心室を部分的に画成する心壁の領域まで延在するように構成された支持部品とを備える装置。 - 補強膜部品が、中心軸心の回りの収縮構造と、補強膜部品の周囲が中心軸線から半径方向に離れて膨張させた膨張構造とを有する請求項1に記載の装置。
- 支持部品が、少なくとも部分的に細長いステムである請求項1に記載の装置。
- 支持部品が、心室の2次的な非動作部分を部分的に画成する患者の心室壁の領域と非外傷的に係合するように構成された遠位端を有する請求項1に記載の装置。
- 支持部品の遠位端が、少なくとも1個のJ形バンパー要素を有する請求項4に記載の装置。
- 遠位端が、2個から4個のJ形要素を有する請求項4に記載の装置。
- 遠位端が、コイル状要素を有する請求項4に記載の装置。
- 補強膜部品の中心位置に固定されたハブを備える請求項1に記載の装置。
- 近位端において半径方向に膨張自在のフレームによって、補強膜部品が補強される請求項8に記載の装置。
- 半径方向に膨張自在のフレームが、複数のリブを有する請求項9に記載の装置。

中心ハブ部品と、自由近位端及び中心ハブ部品に固定された遠位端を有する複数のリブを含む膨張自在のフレーム部品と、膨張自在のフレーム部品のリブに固定されて、リブの自由近位端の半径方向膨張を中心軸心から約90°未満に制限する膜部品と、区画された心室を部分的に画成する患者の心室壁の領域と非外傷的に係合するように、フレーム部品の遠位部から延在する支持部品とを備える区画装置。 - 支持部品が細長いステムである請求項30に記載の区画装置。
- ステムの遠位端が、患者の心室壁の領域と非外傷的に係合する少なくとも1個の弾性部材を有する請求項31に記載の区画装置。
- 少なくとも1個の弾性部材がJ形状を有する請求項32に記載の区画装置。
- 少なくとも1個の弾性部材が螺旋コイル形状を有する請求項32に記載の区画装置。
- 支持部品が膨張式部材である請求項30に記載の区画装置。
- 膜部品が、リブの近位側に固定された請求項30に記載の区画装置。
- 膜部品が、リブの遠位側に固定された請求項30に記載の区画装置。
- 患者の心室を区画することにより患者を治療する装置において、
中心ハブ部品と、自由近位端及び中心ハブ部品に固定された遠位端を有する複数のリブを含む膨張自在のフレーム部品と、膨張自在のフレーム部品のリブに固定された膜部品と、膨張自在のフレーム部品の遠位部から延在し、膨張自在のフレーム部品を心室壁から離隔するように構成されていると共に、心室壁の衰弱部と非外傷性係合をするのに十分な屈従性を有する支持部品とを備える装置。 - 膨張自在のフレーム部品のリブが、リブの自由近位端の半径方向膨張を90°未満に制限する請求項38に記載の装置。
- 支持部品が、中心ハブ部品に固定された近位端と、心室壁と非外傷性係合をする軟質バンパーを設けた遠位端とを有する請求項38に記載の装置。
- 支持部品の軟質バンパーがJ形状を有する請求項40に記載の装置
- 支持部品の遠位端が複数のJ形バンパーを有する請求項40に記載の装置。
- 患者の心臓を治療するシステムにおいて、
補強膜と、補強膜を患者の心臓の心室内に位置決めする手段と、少なくとも部分的に患者の心室を画成する壁に補強膜の周縁を固定する手段と、補強膜の中心部を心壁から離隔する手段とを備えるシステム。 - 補強膜を折りたたみ構造で送出する手段を備える請求項43に記載のシステム。
- 補強膜を患者の心壁内の所定位置で膨張させる手段を備える請求項43に記載のシステム。
- 患者の脈管構造に経皮的に導入されて患者の心室まで前進させられるように構成された細長いカテーテルの内方ルーメン内に、補強膜を位置決めした請求項44に記載のシステム。
- 補強膜をカテーテルから患者の心室に排出する手段を備える請求項46に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも部分的に心室を画成する心壁に補強膜の周縁を固定する固着手段を備える請求項44に記載のシステム。
- 補強膜が自己膨張型である請求項43に記載のシステム。
- 患者の心室を区画することにより患者を治療する装置において、
中心ハブ手段と、自由近位端及び中心ハブ手段に固定された遠位端を有する複数のリブを含むフレーム手段と、フレーム手段のリブに固定された膜手段と、フレーム手段の遠位部から延在し、フレーム手段を心室壁から離隔するように構成されていると共に、心室壁の衰弱部と非外傷性係合をするのに十分な屈従性を有する支持手段とを備える装置。 - うっ血性心不全の患者を治療するシステムにおいて、
補強膜と、補強膜の周縁が、少なくとも部分的に患者の心室を画成する壁に固定されるように、補強膜を患者の心臓の心室内に位置決めする手段と、補強膜の中心部を心壁から離隔する手段とを備えるシステム。
