- 並列に配置された複数のランプ構造と、
前記複数のランプ構造に電力を供給する共通交流電源と、
前記共通交流電源にまたがる前記複数のランプ構造に直列に接続されているリング平衡器と
を有し、
前記リング平衡器は、それぞれ一次巻線および二次巻線を有する複数の平衡トランスを有し、
前記各一次巻線は、対応するランプ構造に直列に接続されており、
少なくとも2つの前記二次巻線は、閉ループに直列に接続されていることを特徴とするバックライトシステム。 - 前記リング平衡器の一次巻線は、前記各ランプ構造の高電圧端子と前記共通交流電源との間に接続されている請求項1に記載のバックライトシステム。
- 前記リング平衡器の一次巻線は、前記各ランプ構造の帰還端子とグランドとの間に接続されている請求項1に記載のバックライトシステム。
- 前記複数の各ランプ構造は、2つの蛍光灯を有し、
前記リング平衡器の一次巻線は、前記各蛍光灯の間に接続されている請求項1に記載のバックライトシステム。 - 前記複数の平衡トランスは、前記複数のランプ構造に対して実質的に同一の電流を強制的に流すために、実質的に同一の巻数比となっている請求項1に記載のバックライトシステム。
- 前記複数の平衡トランスは、前記複数のランプ構造を所定の比率で電流が流れるようにするために、異なる巻数比となっている請求項1に記載のバックライトシステム。
- 前記共通交流電源は、単一電圧源又は複数の同期化された電圧源である請求項1に記載のバックライトシステム。
- 前記共通交流電源は、制御部と、スイッチ回路網と、出力トランス段とを有するインバータである請求項1に記載のバックライトシステム。
- 前記出力トランス段は、シングルエンド構成の前記複数のランプ構造を駆動するために、グランドに接続された二次巻線をもつトランスを有している請求項8に記載のバックライトシステム。
- 前記出力トランス段は、浮動構成又は差動構成の前記複数のランプ構造を駆動するように構成されている請求項8に記載のバックライトシステム。
- 前記リング平衡器の1つ以上の二次巻線での電圧上昇を検出することによって、非作動ランプの状態を検出する故障検出回路を、さらに有する請求項1に記載のバックライトシステム。
- シングルエンド出力の複数の並列蛍光灯を駆動するように構成されたインバータと、
前記各蛍光灯のシングルエンド出力と高電圧端子との間に挿入されている第1リング平衡器と、
前記各蛍光灯の帰還端子とグランドとの間に挿入されている第2リング平衡器と
を有し、
前記第1リング平衡器は、各一次巻線が対応する前記蛍光灯に直列にそれぞれ接続されているとともに、二次巻線が閉ループに接続されている複数の第1平衡トランスを有し、
前記第2リング平衡器は、各一次巻線が対応する前記蛍光灯に直列にそれぞれ接続されているとともに、二次巻線が閉ループに接続されている複数の複数の第2平衡トランスを有することを特徴とする表示パネル。 - 差動出力をもつ複数の並列蛍光灯を駆動するように構成されたインバータと、
前記インバータの第1差動出力と前記各蛍光灯の第1端子との間に挿入されている第1リング平衡器と、
前記各蛍光灯の第2端子と前記インバータの第2差動出力との間に挿入されている第2リング平衡器と
を有し
前記第1リング平衡器は、各一次巻線が前記各蛍光灯に直列にかつ別々に接続されているとともに、二次巻線が閉ループに接続されている複数の第1平衡トランスを有し、
前記第2リング平衡器は、各一次巻線が前記各蛍光灯に直列にかつ別々に接続されているとともに、二次巻線が閉ループに接続されている複数の複数の第2平衡トランスを有することを特徴とする表示パネル。 - バックライトシステムにおける複数のランプ間で電流平衡をとる方法であって、
1つ以上のランプの各並列分岐に平衡トランスを設定するステップと、
共通電流を流すリング構成に直列に、前記平衡トランスの二次巻線を接続するステップと
を有し、
前記平衡トランスの一次巻線は、前記設定された分岐のランプに直列に接続されることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記複数の平衡トランスは、前記並列分岐に対して実質的に同一の電流を強制的に流すために、実質的に同一の巻数比となっている請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の平衡トランスは、前記並列分岐を所定の比率で電流が流れるようにするために、異なる巻数比となっている請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記ランプの並列分岐を作動させる共通交流電源を使用する動作をさらに有する請求項14に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の二次巻線での電圧上昇を検出することによって、故障ランプを検出する動作をさらに有する請求項14に記載の方法。
- 閉リングに直列に接続された各二次巻線をそれぞれ持つ複数のトランスを使用して、複数のランプ間で電流平衡をとる手段を有するバックライトシステム。
- 二次巻線全体の電位差を監視することによって、短絡ランプ状態か又は開放ランプ状態かを判定する手段をさらに有する請求項19に記載のバックライトシステム。
- 並列に配置された複数のランプ間で共有される電流のための平衡器であって、
前記平衡器は、複数の平衡トランスを有し、
前記各平衡トランスは、特定の負荷に設定されているとともに、前記各平衡トランスは、磁気コアと、設定された負荷に直列に挿入されている一次巻線と、二次巻線とを有し、
前記平衡器の二次巻線は、共通電流を流す閉ループに直列に接続されていることを特徴とする平衡器。 - 前記磁気コアは、環形状であるとともに、前記一次巻線および二次巻線は、前記磁気コアの別々のセクションで段階的に巻かれている請求項21に記載の平衡器。
- 前記磁気コアは、環形状であるとともに、
前記閉ループの二次巻線を形成するために、前記平衡器における前記磁気コアの内孔に1本の絶縁線が通っている請求項21に記載の平衡器。 - 前記磁気コアは、E構造に基づいているとともに、
前記一次巻線および二次巻線は、ボビンの別々のセクションに巻かれている請求項21に記載の平衡器。 - 前記磁気コアは、初期比透磁率が5000以上の高い比透磁率である請求項21に記載の平衡器。
- 前記複数の平衡トランスは、実質的に同一の巻数比となっている請求項21に記載の平衡器。
- 前記複数の平衡トランスは、異なる巻数比となっている請求項21に記載の平衡器。
- 前記二次巻線の極性は、二次巻線で生じた電圧が同期し且つ前記閉ループにおいて共に加えあうように、揃えられている請求項21に記載の平衡器。
- 複数の並列負荷間の電流比を制御する方法であって、
各負荷に平衡トランスを形成するステップと、
対応する前記平衡トランスの一次巻線に直列に各負荷を接続するステップと、
共通電流を流すために直列ループに前記平衡トランスの二次巻線を接続するステップと
を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記平衡トランスは、前記複数の負荷に実質的に同一の電流を強制的に流すために、実質的に同一の巻数比となっている請求項29に記載の方法。
- 前記平衡トランスは、前記複数の負荷を所定の比率で電流が流れるようにするために、異なる巻数比となっている請求項29に記載の方法。
- 前記二次巻線の極性は、対応する一次巻線に印加された交流電圧が同相であるとき、前記二次巻線で生じた電圧が同期するように、揃えられている請求項29に記載の方法。
- 複数の平衡トランスに対応する複数の環状磁気コアを形成するステップと、
前記各平衡トランスに対して、一次巻線に相当させるために、各環状磁気コアのセクションに段階的に絶縁線を巻くステップと、
閉ループに接続された二次巻線に相当させるために、複数の環状磁気コアを通して絶縁線をリングにするステップと
を有し、
前記各一次巻線は、電流の平衡をとるために、個々の負荷に接続されることを特徴とするリング平衡器の製造方法。 - 前記二次巻線は、一巻きの前記絶縁線を有する請求項33に記載の方法。
- 短絡ループに接続された各二次巻線と、別個の負荷に接続された各一次巻線とを有する複数のトランスを使用して、複数の並列負荷の電流比を受動的に制御する手段を有することを特徴とするリング平衡器。
- 前記各二次巻線は、10以下の巻数となっている請求項35に記載のリング平衡器。
