Abstract
【解決手段】導電性基体上に、中間層および電極活物質の層を順次形成して酸素発生用電極とする。中間層は、SnおよびSbと白金族金属との複酸化物からなり、Sn:Sbは陽イオンのモル比で1:1〜40:1の範囲にあり、かつ、中間層の90モル%以下を占め、残部が白金族金属の酸化物である組成を有するものを、焼成法により形成する。電極活物質の層は、Snが陽イオンの0.1〜3モル%、Moおよび(または)Wが陽イオンの0.2〜20モル%を占め、陽イオンの残部がMnからなる複酸化物を、陽極析出法により形成する。

Description
(1)陽イオンとして、MoおよびWの1種または2種を0.2〜20モル%含み、残部Mnからなる酸化物で導電性基体を被覆したもの。
(2)陽イオンとして、MoおよびWの1種または2種を0.2〜20モル%と、Zn:1〜30%とを含み、残部Mnからなる酸化物で導電性基体を被覆し、これを高温の濃厚アルカリに浸漬してZnを浸出させることによって、有効表面積を増大させたもの。
金属酸化物がSnおよびSbと白金族金属との複酸化物からなり、Sn:Sbは陽イオンのモル比で1:1〜40:1の範囲にあり、かつ、SnおよびSbが電極活物質層の90モル%以下、好ましくは1〜70モル%を占め、残部が白金族金属の酸化物である組成を有する電気化学反応用陽極である。この発明に関しても、別途に特許出願した。
Claims (1)
- チタンで製作した導電性基体上に、中間層および電極活物質の層を順次形成してなる、塩素イオンを含む水溶液を電解して塩素の発生は抑制して酸素を発生させるための電極において、中間層が、SnおよびSbと、白金族金属と複酸化物であって、Sn:Sbは陽イオンのモル比で1:1〜40:1の範囲にあり、かつ、SnおよびSbが複酸化物の全陽イオンの90モル%以下を占め、残部が白金属金属の酸化物である組成を有するものを焼成法で形成してなるものであり、電極活物質の層は、Snが陽イオンの0.1〜3モル%、Moおよび(または)Wが陽イオンの0.2〜20モル%を占め、陽イオンの残部がMnからなる複酸化物を、陽極析出法により生成させてなるものであることを特徴とする酸素発生用電極。
