Abstract
【解決手段】エンジンから排出されるパティキュレートを排ガスが流通する担体壁により濾過して大気への排出を防止する排ガス浄化フィルタの前後差圧を検出し、排ガス中に含まれる不燃成分量を推定し、エンジンの運転状態に基づいて推定不燃成分量の担体壁への堆積状態を推定する。そして、排ガス浄化フィルタの前後差圧及び不燃成分量の担体壁への堆積状態とに基づいて、排ガス浄化フィルタに堆積するパティキュレート量を検出する(ステップS2,S3)。

Claims (10)
- エンジンから排出されるパティキュレートを排ガスが流通する担体壁により濾過して大気への排出を防止する排ガス浄化フィルタの前後差圧を検出するフィルタ圧損検出手段と、
排ガス中に含まれる不燃成分量を推定する不燃成分量推定手段と、
エンジンの運転状態に基づいて、前記推定される不燃成分量の前記担体壁への堆積状態を推定する不燃成分堆積状態推定手段と、
を備え、
前記排ガス浄化フィルタの前後差圧と前記不燃成分の担体壁への堆積状態とに基づいて、前記排ガス浄化フィルタに堆積するパティキュレート量を検出するパティキュレート堆積量検出手段と、
を有する排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置。 - 前記不燃成分堆積状態推定手段は、前記運転状態としてエンジンのオイル消費量及び走行距離に基づいて前記担体壁への堆積状態を推定する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置。 - 前記不燃成分堆積状態推定手段は、前記排ガス浄化フィルタが再生温度以上のときは、前記排ガス浄化フィルタの温度が再生温度以下のときに比して、前記不燃成分の担体壁への堆積割合が大きくなるように推定する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置。 - 前記不燃成分堆積状態推定手段は、前記排ガス浄化フィルタを通過する排ガス流量が所定値以上のときは、前記排ガス浄化フィルタを通過する排ガス流速が所定値以下のときに比して、前記不燃成分の担体壁への堆積割合が大きくなるように推定する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項に記載の排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置。 - 前記パティキュレート堆積量検出手段は、前記不燃成分堆積状態推定手段によって推定される担体壁への堆積状態に基づいて不燃成分によって閉塞されない担体壁の割合(濾過面積割合)を利用し、以下の式に基づいてパティキュレート堆積量を検出する、
- 前記係数c1,c2は、前記不燃成分によって閉塞されない担体壁の割合が大きくなるにつれて増加し、
前記係数c3,c4は、前記不燃成分によって閉塞されない担体壁の割合が大きくなるにつれて減少する、
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置。 - 前記係数c1,c2は、前記不燃成分によって閉塞されない担体壁の割合が大きくなると段階的に増加し、
前記係数c3,c4は、前記不燃成分によって閉塞されない担体壁の割合が大きくなると段階的に減少する、
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置。 - 請求項1に記載の排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置を有する、
ことを特徴とする排気装置。 - 請求項1に記載の排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置を有する、
ことを特徴とするエンジン。 - エンジンから排出されるパティキュレートを濾過して大気への排出を防止する排ガス浄化フィルタの前後差圧を検出するフィルタ圧損検出工程と、
エンジンの運転状態に基づいて排ガス中に含まれる不燃成分量を推定する不燃成分量推定工程と、
前記排ガス浄化フィルタの担体壁に、排ガス中に含まれる不燃成分が堆積しておらず、不燃成分によって閉塞されることなくパティキュレートを濾過できる割合を、前記排ガス浄化フィルタの状態に基づいて検出する濾過割合検出工程と、
前記排ガス浄化フィルタの前後差圧及び前記パティキュレートを濾過できる割合とに基づいて、前記排ガス浄化フィルタに堆積するパティキュレート量を検出するパティキュレート堆積量検出工程と、
を有する排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出方法。
