Claims (9)
- エンジンから排出されるパティキュレートを排ガスが流通する担体壁により濾過して大気への排出を防止する排ガス浄化フィルタの前後差圧を検出するフィルタ圧損検出手段と、
前記排ガス浄化フィルタに堆積している不燃成分の量を推定する不燃成分堆積量推定手段と、
前記不燃成分堆積量推定手段で推定した不燃成分の量と走行距離とに基づいて、不燃成分によって閉塞されずに排ガスを透過できパティキュレートを濾過できる前記排ガス浄化フィルタの濾過面積を前記排ガスフィルタが新品であるときの濾過面積で除した値である濾過面積割合を算出する濾過面積割合算出手段と、
を備え、
前記排ガス浄化フィルタの前後差圧と前記濾過面積割合とに基づいて、前記排ガス浄化フィルタに堆積するパティキュレート量を検出するパティキュレート堆積量検出手段と、
を有する排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置。 - 前記濾過面積割合算出手段が算出する前記濾過面積割合は、前記不燃成分堆積量推定手段で推定した不燃成分の量が同じ条件で比較したとき、前記走行距離が長いほど小さくなる、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置。 - エンジンから排出されるパティキュレートを排ガスが流通する担体壁により濾過して大気への排出を防止する排ガス浄化フィルタの前後差圧を検出するフィルタ圧損検出手段と、
エンジンが排出し前記排ガス浄化フィルタに堆積すると推定される不燃成分の量を求める不燃成分量推定手段と、
前記排ガス浄化フィルタの温度が再生温度未満であるか又は排ガス流速が大でない場合に、前記不燃成分量推定手段で求めた不燃成分の量を前回算出値に加算して第1の不燃成分堆積量を求め、この第1の不燃成分堆積量に第1の面積換算係数を乗じて第1の閉塞面積を求める手段と、
前記排ガス浄化フィルタの温度が再生温度以上であって排ガス流速が大である場合に、前記不燃成分量推定手段で求めた不燃成分の量を前回算出値に加算して第2の不燃成分堆積量を求め、この第2の不燃成分堆積量に第2の面積換算係数を乗じて第2の閉塞面積を求める手段と、
前記第1の閉塞面積と前記第2の閉塞面積とを加算して不燃成分堆積による閉塞面積を求める手段と、
前記排ガス浄化フィルタが新品であるときの濾過面積から前記不燃成分堆積による閉塞面積を減じた値を前記排ガス浄化フィルタが新品であるときの濾過面積で除して濾過面積割合を求める手段と、
を備え、
前記排ガス浄化フィルタの前後差圧と前記濾過面積割合とに基づいて、前記排ガス浄化フィルタに堆積するパティキュレート量を検出するパティキュレート堆積量検出手段と、
を有する排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置。 - 前記パティキュレート堆積量検出手段は、前記濾過面積割合を利用し、以下の式に基づいてパティキュレート堆積量を検出する、
- 前記係数c1,c2は、前記濾過面積割合が大きくなるにつれて増加し、
前記係数c3,c4は、前記濾過面積割合が大きくなるにつれて減少する、
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置。 - 前記係数c1,c2は、前記濾過面積割合が大きくなると段階的に増加し、
前記係数c3,c4は、前記濾過面積割合が大きくなると段階的に減少する、
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置。 - 請求項1に記載の排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置を有する、
ことを特徴とする排気装置。 - 請求項1に記載の排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出装置を有する、
ことを特徴とするエンジン。 - エンジンから排出されるパティキュレートを濾過して大気への排出を防止する排ガス浄化フィルタの前後差圧を検出するフィルタ圧損検出工程と、
前記排ガス浄化フィルタに堆積している不燃成分の量を推定する不燃成分堆積量推定工程と、
前記不燃成分堆積量推定工程で推定した不燃成分の量と走行距離とに基づいて、不燃成分によって閉塞されずに排ガスを透過できパティキュレートを濾過できる前記排ガス浄化フィルタの濾過面積を前記排ガスフィルタが新品であるときの濾過面積で除した値である濾過面積割合を算出する濾過面積割合算出工程と、
を備え、
前記排ガス浄化フィルタの前後差圧と前記濾過面積割合とに基づいて、前記排ガス浄化フィルタに堆積するパティキュレート量を検出するパティキュレート堆積量検出工程と、
を有する排ガス浄化フィルタのパティキュレート堆積量検出方法。
