Abstract
【解決手段】 絶縁基板23と、前記絶縁基板に形成されたポリシリコン層による半導体層と、前記絶縁基板と前記半導体層との間に形成されるゲート電極76と、によって構成されるスイッチング素子と、前記絶縁基板に形成されたポリシリコン層による半導体層によって構成されたPIN型ダイオード29と、前記ゲート電極と同層で前記PIN型ダイオードを構成する半導体層に対向して形成された反射部59と、を具備したことを特徴とする。

Description
先ず、図2乃至図4を参照して、本実施の形態に係る電気光学装置の全体構成について説明する。
図6は本発明の第2の実施の形態に係る電気光学装置の概要を示す斜視図である。図6において図1と同一の構成要素には同一符号を付して説明を省略する。
Claims (7)
- 絶縁基板と、
前記絶縁基板に形成されたポリシリコン層による半導体層と、前記絶縁基板と前記半導体層との間に形成されるゲート電極と、によって構成されるスイッチング素子と、
前記絶縁基板に形成されたポリシリコン層による半導体層によって構成されたPIN型ダイオードと、
前記ゲート電極と同層で前記PIN型ダイオードを構成する半導体層に対向して形成された反射部と、
を具備したことを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 前記反射部は、前記半導体層の全域に対向するように前記半導体層の平面サイズよりも広幅に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気光学装置。
- 前記絶縁基板上には、前記PIN型ダイオードが複数配列されており、
複数の前記PIN型ダイオードを構成する半導体層に対向して、前記反射部が夫々設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気光学装置。 - 前記反射部は、所定の固定電位点に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気光学装置。
- 前記反射部が接続される所定の固定電位点は、前記PIN型ダイオードのアノード又はカソードであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電気光学装置。
- 前記絶縁基板に照明光を照射する照明部と、
前記照明部からの光が前記PIN型ダイオードに入射されることを阻止するための遮光板とを具備したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気光学装置。 - 請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1つに記載の電気光学装置を用いて構成したことを特徴とする電子機器。
