Abstract
【解決手段】カルボキシル基含有ポリオレフィンワックス100質量部が、下記の一般式(1)を満たす化合物15〜67質量部、水90〜380質量部の存在下、加熱溶解された後、カルボキシル基含有ポリオレフィンワックスのカルボキシル基に対して1〜4倍化学当量の割合で加えられた塩基性化合物によって分散されてなることを特徴とする水性樹脂組成物。

以下本発明を詳細に説明する。
プロピレン・エチレン共重合体(エチレン成分含有量=3モル%)420g 、無水マレイン酸105g 、ジーtert―ブチルパーオキシド7g 及びトルエン280g を攪拌器を取り付けたオートクレーブ中に加え、窒素置換を約5分行った後、加熱攪拌しながら140℃で5時間反応を行った。反応終了後、反応液を大量のアセトン中に投入し樹脂を析出させた。この樹脂を更にアセトンで数回洗浄し、未反応の無水マレイン酸を除去した。これを減圧乾燥することで、カルボキシル基含有量が57mgKOH /g 、170℃での溶融粘度が25800mPa ・s の無水マレイン酸変性ポリプロピレンワックスを得た。
実施例1(水性樹脂組成物(a)の製造)
攪拌機を備えたオートクレーブに、製造例1で得られた無水マレイン酸変性プロピレン・エチレン共重合体ワックス200g、エチレングリコールモノ2-エチルヘキシルエーテル36g、脱イオン水400g、をそれぞれ仕込み、120℃に保った状態で2時間撹拌し樹脂を十分溶解させた。この溶液を100℃に冷却後、N,N-ジメチルエタノールアミン23gを加えた。2時間攪拌後冷却することで、樹脂濃度(固形分)が30質量%、平均粒子径が48nmの水性樹脂組成物(a)を得た。
各成分の量を表1の組成に変更したこと以外は実施例1と同様の方法により、樹脂濃度(固形分)が30質量%、樹脂粒子の平均粒子径が77nmの水性樹脂組成物(b)を得た。
各成分の量を表1の組成に変更したこと以外は実施例1と同様の方法により、樹脂濃度(固形分)が30質量%、平均粒子径が35nmの水性樹脂組成物(c)を得た。
攪拌機を備えたオートクレーブに製造例1で得られた無水マレイン酸変性ポリプロピレンワックス200g、ノニルフェノールエチレンオキサイド11モル付加物(商品名ノイゲンEA- 140、第一工業製薬株式会社製、HLB =14)54g 、48%水酸化カリウム水溶液21g、亜硫酸ナトリウム3g、脱イオン水610gを入れ、150℃まで昇温した。昇温後、1時間撹拌し、室温まで冷却することで樹脂濃度(固形分)が30質量%、平均粒子径が180nmの水性樹脂組成物(d)を得た。
各成分の量を表1の組成に変更したこと以外は実施例1と同様の方法により、水性樹脂組成物(e)の製造を試みた。しかしながら、酸変性塩素化ポリオレフィンに対するグリコールエーテルの量が少ないために、分散が行えなかった。
乾燥膜厚が5μm になるように水性樹脂組成物を未処理ポリプロピレンフィルム、未処理ポリエチレンフィルムにそれぞれバーコーターで塗布し、80℃で乾燥後、120℃、1kgf /cm2 にて同じフィルム同士をヒートシールを行い試験片を作製した。この試験片を 20cm/min の引っ張り速度でテンシロンを用いて180°剥離強度を測定した。
水性樹脂組成物をガラス板に50μm アプリケーターを用いて塗布し、室温にて12時間乾燥させて試験片を作製した。この試験片を60℃の温水に24時間浸したあと、試験片の状態を観察した。
水性樹脂組成物80g を容量100mlの容器に入れて密封し、50℃の雰囲気下に2週間放置し、その粘度変化を下記の評価基準で評価した。

Claims (5)
- カルボキシル基含有ポリオレフィンワックス100質量部が、下記の一般式(1)を満たす化合物15〜67質量部、水90〜380質量部の存在下、加熱溶解された後、カルボキシル基含有ポリオレフィンワックスのカルボキシル基に対して1〜4倍化学当量の割合で加えられた塩基性化合物によって分散されてなることを特徴とする水性樹脂組成物。一般式(1)

m :4〜6までの整数、n :1〜4までの整数 - 前記カルボキシル基含有ポリオレフィンワックスが、ポリオレフィンワックスにα, β- 不飽和カルボン酸およびその無水物から選ばれる少なくとも1種を10〜110mgKOH /g グラフト共重合してなる酸変性ポリオレフィンワックスであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水性樹脂組成物。
- 前記カルボキシル基含有ポリオレフィンワックスが、ポリオレフィンワックスを酸価処理することにより10〜110mgKOH /g の酸価を有するものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水性樹脂組成物。
- 前記カルボキシル基含有ポリオレフィンワックスの170℃での溶融粘度が30000mPa ・s 以下である請求項1〜3いずれかに記載の水性樹脂組成物。
- カルボキシル基含有ポリオレフィンワックス100質量部を、一般式(1)を満たす化合物15〜67質量部、水90〜380質量部の存在下、加熱溶解させた後、カルボキシル基含有ポリオレフィンワックスのカルボキシル基に対して1〜4倍化学当量の塩基性化合物を加えて得られる水性樹脂組成物の製造方法。
