Abstract
【解決手段】右スライド30が末端方向へ付勢され、左スライド32が基端方向へ付勢されるようにノブ10が回されると、右スライド30に結合されている撓みワイヤ38が圧縮状態とされ、左スライド32に結合されている撓みワイヤ38は伸張状態とされる。これによって、カテーテル本体4の最も末端14が第1の方向へ撓ませられる。逆に、右スライド30が基端方向に付勢され、左スライド32が末端方向へ付勢されるように回されると、右スライド30に結合されている撓みワイヤ38は伸張状態とされ、左スライド32に結合されている撓みワイヤ38は圧縮状態とされる。これによって、カテーテル本体4の最も末端14が、前記第1の方向と反対の第2の方向へ撓ませられる。

Description
一つの実施形態においては、第1のハンドル部分の回転運動は、ねじ構造によって前記部材の直線運動に伝達される。例えば、一つの実施形態においては、ねじ構造は、第1の部材の外周面に沿った第1の右ねじ、第2の部材の外周面に沿った第1の左ねじ並びに第1のハンドル部分の内周面に沿った第2の右ねじ及び第2の左ねじを含んでいる。左ねじ同士は相互に係合しており、右ねじ同士も相互に係合している。
Claims (51)
- 第1及び第2の撓みワイヤを含んでいるカテーテル本体の末端の撓みを制御するためのハンドルであって、
スライドベースであって、第1の端部、第2の端部及び当該スライドベースの少なくとも一部分内を長手方向に延びているスライド室とを含んでいるスライドベースと、
前記スライドベースの前記第1の端部に回転可能に結合された調整ノブであって、当該調整ノブ内に穴が延びており、当該穴の内径の少なくとも一部分が内側右ねじと内側左ねじとを含んでいる前記調整ノブと、
前記スライド室内に配置されており且つ前記第1の撓みワイヤに結合されるようになされており且つ外側右ねじを含んでいる第1のスライドと、
前記スライド室内に配置されており且つ前記第2の撓みワイヤに結合されるようになされており且つ外側左ねじを含んでいる第2のスライドと、を含んでおり、
前記調整ノブの内側ねじが、前記スライドの外側ねじと係合し、前記調整ノブの回転によって前記スライドが前記スライド室内で互いに反対方向に変位せしめられるようになされたハンドル。 - 請求項1に記載のハンドルであって、
ハンドルカバーを更に含んでおり、前記スライドベースが当該ハンドル内に収納され、前記スライド室が前記カバーによって包囲されているハンドル。 - 請求項1に記載のハンドルであって、
ワイヤガイドを更に含んでおり、当該ワイヤガイドの少なくとも一部分が前記調整ノブの穴内に位置されており、前記第1及び第2の撓みワイヤが前記ワイヤガイド内を貫通しているハンドル。 - 請求項3に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2のスライドの一部分が前記ワイヤガイドの外面に沿って変位するようになされたハンドル。 - 請求項4に記載のハンドルであって、
前記ワイヤガイドの端部が前記カテーテル本体に結合されているハンドル。 - 請求項4に記載のハンドルであって、
前記スライドベースの第1の端部が末端であり、前記スライドの第2の端部が基端であるハンドル。 - 請求項6に記載のハンドルであって、

前記第1の接触点が、スライドフレームの第1の側と、前記第1のスライドと第2のスライドとの間に形成された溝の第1の半体との間に位置しており、前記第2の接触点が、レールの第2の側面と前記溝の第2の半体との間に位置しているハンドル。 - 請求項11に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1の接触点が、前記スライド室の第1の平らな面と、前記第1のスライドの平らな面との間に位置しており、前記第2の接触点が、前記スライド室の第2の平らな面と前記第2のスライドの平らな面との間に位置しているハンドル。 - 請求項1に記載のハンドルであって、
各スライドが長手軸線を有するボルトを含み且つ当該ボルトを螺合状態で収容し、各スライドの各々の撓みワイヤが各々のボルトの長手軸線内を貫通しているハンドル。 - 第1の撓みワイヤと第2の撓みワイヤとを含んでいるカテーテル本体の末端の撓みを制御するためのハンドルであって、
第2のハンドル部分に回転可能に結合された第1のハンドル部分と、
当該ハンドル内で長手方向に変位可能である第1及び第2の部材とを含み、
前記第1の部材が前記第1の撓みワイヤに結合するようになされており、前記第2の部材が前記第2の撓みワイヤに結合するようになされており、前記第2のハンドル部分に対する前記第1のハンドル部分の回転によって、前記第1及び第2の部材が互いに反対方向に変位せしめられるようになされたハンドル。 - 請求項15に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2の部材の変位が前記第2のハンドル部分の長手軸線に沿っているハンドル。 - 請求項15に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1のハンドル部分の回転が、前記第2のハンドル部分の長手軸線を中心としてなされるハンドル。 - 請求項15に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1のハンドル部分の回転運動が、ねじが切られた構造によって、前記第1及び第2の部材の直線運動に伝達されるハンドル。 - 請求項18に記載のハンドルであって、
前記ねじが切られた構造が、前記第1の部材の外周面に沿った第1の右ねじと、前記第2の部材の外周面に沿った第1の左ねじと、前記第1のハンドル部分の内周面に沿った第2の右ねじ及び第2の左ねじとを含み、前記左ねじ同士が相互に係合し、前記右ねじ同士が相互に係合するハンドル。 - 請求項19に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第2の右ねじが前記第1のハンドル部分の基端部分内に配置されており、前記第2の左ねじが前記第1のハンドル部分の末端部分内に配置されているハンドル。 - 請求項19に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第2の右ねじが前記第1のハンドル部分の末端部分に配置されており、前記第2の左ねじが前記第1のハンドル部分の基端部分に配置されているハンドル。 - 請求項19に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2の部材が、概して端部対端部の配置状態で前記第1のハンドル部分内で相対的に配置されているハンドル。 - 請求項19に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1の右ねじと前記第2の左ねじとが、前記第1のハンドル部分内の概して同じ位置に配置されていて、前記第2の左ねじと前記第2の右ねじとが前記第1のハンドル部分の内周面に沿った双方向ねじ構造を形成しているハンドル。 - 請求項23に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2の部材が、概して側部対側部の配置状態で前記第1のハンドル部分内で相対的に配置されているハンドル。 - 請求項24に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2の部材の各々が、これらの部材が相対的に反対方向に変位したときに、他方の部材の概して平らな側面に摺動可能に当接する概して平らな側面を有しているハンドル。 - 請求項24に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2の部材の各々が、これらの部材の各々のねじを担持している末端部分と、前記第2のハンドル部分内の穴の概して平らな部分に摺動可能に当接するための概して平らな面を有している基端部分とを有しているハンドル。 - 請求項24に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2の部材の各々が、これらの部材の各々のねじを担持している末端部分と、前記第2のハンドル部分内のキャビティ内の第2の機構に対して摺動可能に当接するための第1の機構を有する基端部分とを有し、それによって、前記第1のハンドル部分が前記第2のハンドル部分に対して回転せしめられたときに前記キャビティ内で回転しながら変位せしめられないようになされているハンドル。 - 請求項18に記載のハンドルであって、
前記ねじ構造が、前記第1の部材の内周面に沿った第1の右ねじと、前記第2の部材の内周面に沿った第1の左ねじと、前記第1のハンドル部分の外周面に沿った第2の右ねじ及び左ねじとを含んでおり、前記左ねじ同士が相互に係合せしめられており、前記右ねじ同士が相互に係合せしめられているハンドル。 - 請求項28に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第2の右ねじ及び第2の左ねじは、前記第1のハンドル部分上のほぼ同じ位置に配置されていて、前記第2の左ねじ及び前記第2の右ねじが、前記第1のハンドル部分の外周面に沿った双方向ねじ構造を形成しているハンドル。 - 請求項29に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2の部材が、概して側部対側部の形態で前記第1のハンドル部分内で相対的に配置されているハンドル。 - 請求項30に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2の各部材が、当該部材が相対的に反対方向に変位したときに、他方の部材の概して平らな側面に摺動可能に当接する概して平らな側面を有しているハンドル。 - 請求項30に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2の部材の各部材が、当該部材の各々のねじを担持している末端部分と、前記第2のハンドル部分内の穴の概して平らな部分に摺動可能に当接するための概して平らな面を有している基端部分とを有しているハンドル。 - 請求項30に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2の部材の各部材が、当該部材の各々のねじを担持している末端部分と、前記第2のハンドル部分内のキャビティ内の第2の機構に対して摺動可能に当接するための第1の機構を有する基端部分とを有しており、それによって、前記第1のハンドル部分が前記第2のハンドル部分に対して回転せしめられたときに、前記キャビティ内で回転変位せしめられないようになされているハンドル。 - 請求項15に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2の部材が前記カテーテル本体の外側面に沿って変位するようになされているハンドル。 - 請求項15に記載のハンドルであって、

前記第1のハンドル部分が前記第2のハンドル部分に対して回転せしめられるとき、前記部材が前記ねじが切られたシャフトを中心として回転変位するのを防止するようになされた機構を含んでいるワイヤガイドを更に備えているハンドル。 - 請求項43に記載のハンドルであって、
前記機構が、前記キャビティに沿って長手方向に延びている概して平らな部分であり、前記各部材の前記概して平らな部分が当該長手方向に延びている平らな部分に対して摺動可能に変位するハンドル。 - 請求項15に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2の部材の各々が、当該部材と当該部材を変位させる前に撓みワイヤの張力が調整されるのを可能にするそれら自体の撓みワイヤとの間に係合構造を含んでいるハンドル。 - 請求項15に記載のハンドルであって、
前記第1及び第2の各部材と各々の撓みワイヤとの間の結合構造が、当該部材が末端方向へ変位せしめられつつあるときには、当該部材を各々の撓みワイヤに対して変位させるが、当該部材が基端方向に変位しつつあるときには、当該ワイヤが前記部材と共に変位することを必要とするハンドル。 - 第1及び第2の撓みワイヤを含んでいるカテーテル本体の末端を撓ませる方法であって、
右ねじを含んでいる第1の部材を前記第1の撓みワイヤに結合することと、
左ねじを含んでいる第2の部材を前記第2の撓みワイヤに結合することと、
前記第1及び第2の部材のねじと係合せしめられる右ねじ及び左ねじを含んでいる第1のハンドル部分を第2のハンドル部分に回転可能に結合することと、
前記第1のハンドル部分を第2のハンドル部分に対して回転させて、前記第1及び第2の部材が、互いに反対方向に変位せしめられ、それによって、前記カテーテル本体の末端を撓ませるようにすることとを含む方法。 - 請求項47に記載の方法であって、
前記第2のハンドル部分が長手軸線を含んでおり、前記第1のハンドル部分が前記軸線を中心に回転するようになされた方法。 - 請求項48に記載の方法であって、
前記第1及び第2の部材が前記長手軸線に沿って変位するようになされた方法。 - 請求項47に記載の方法であって、
前記第1及び第2の部材の各々を当該各部材内にねじ結合によって収容されたボルトを回転させることによって各々の部材を変位させる前に、前記撓みワイヤの張力を調整することを含む方法。 - 外科的方法であって、
カテーテル本体と、当該カテーテル本体の基端に取り付けられたハンドルとを含んでおり、前記ハンドルがベースに回転可能に結合された調整ノブを含んでいるカテーテルを準備することと、
前記カテーテル本体の末端を患者の体内へ挿入することと、
前記カテーテル本体の末端を、患者の体内の選択された位置に位置決めされるまで進入させることと、
前記調整ノブをベースの長手軸線を中心に回転させることによって、前記カテーテル本体の末端を撓ませ、それによって、前記ハンドル内の一対の部材であって、当該一対の部材の各部材が前記カテーテル本体内を貫通して延びており且つ末端に結合されている撓みワイヤに結合されている前記一対の部材を、前記長手軸線に沿って互いに反対方向に変位させることとを含む外科的方法。
