Abstract
【解決手段】 前記液晶封入用のガラス基板31、35の表面310、350には透明な塗布層312、352を形成してなる。前記塗布層312、352を利用して、前記ガラス基板310、350が速く透明化を実現でき、かつ従来の液晶封入用のガラス基板は機械加工を介して透明化を達成するためにかかる時間が長いという課題を解決する。本発明はさらに前記ガラス基板310、350の製造方法とこのガラス基板310、350を利用する液晶表示装置3を提供する。

Claims (9)
- 表面に透明な塗布層を形成することを特徴とする液晶封入用のガラス基板。
- 前記表面の粗雑度は0.1μm〜3μmとされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶封入用のガラス基板。
- 前記表面の粗雑度は0.1μm〜0.2μmとされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶封入用のガラス基板。
- 前記塗布層は樹脂材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶封入用のガラス基板。
- 前記塗布層の材料は光硬化樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶封入用のガラス基板。
- 前記塗布層の厚さは0.5μm〜5μmとされることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の液晶封入用のガラス基板。
- ガラス基板を準備する段階1と、
前記ガラス基板の表面に透明な塗布層を形成する段階2と、
を含むことを特徴とする液晶封入用のガラス基板の製造方法。 - 前記塗布層は浸漬方法又は回転塗布方法を介して前記ガラス基板の表面に形成されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の液晶封入用のガラス基板の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のガラス基板を少なくとも一枚利用する二枚のガラス基板と、前記基板に封入される液晶と、を含むことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
