Abstract

Claims (10)
- 先端に金属ポイント及び(又は)固定バルーンを備えたチューブ状本体(10)と、前記チューブ状本体(10)の周回りに配置されて前記金属ポイント及び(又は)固定バルーンに取付けられ且つ高周波発信器に接続された活性電極(16)と、前記活性電極(16)の周囲の温度を測定するための少なくとも一つのサーミスタニードル(19)とを有し、腫瘍及びその他の病気を高周波による温熱療法を用いて治療するためのカテーテルであって、前記活性電極(16)を撓み変形自在で、前記活性電極(16)を冷却するための冷却液供給源と接続可能に構成したことを特徴とするカテーテル。
- 前記撓み変形自在な活性電極(16)が、前記カテーテルの前記チューブ状本体(10)の一部に同軸的に取付けられた螺旋状導管(21)を有している、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記撓み変形自在な活性電極(16)が、単一の螺旋筒状の形態に形成されて、高周波発信器に接続されている、請求項1又は2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記撓み変形自在な活性電極(16)が螺旋状に巻回されたチューブ状部材(21)にて構成され、前記チューブ状部材(21)の二つの両端が、電極冷却液を供給及び戻すための二つのチューブ(13,14)と接続又は合体されている、請求項3に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記撓み変形自在な活性電極(16)が二重の螺旋チューブの形態に形成されて、高周波発信器に接続されている、請求項1又は2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記撓み変形自在な活性電極(16)が、U字状に折り曲げられ且つ螺旋状に巻回されたチューブ状部材の互いに平行で且つ連結されるブランチ部にて構成され、各コイル部の自由端部が電極冷却液の供給及び戻し用の二つのチューブ(13,14)の一部分に接続されている、請求項5に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記撓み変形自在な電極(16)を構成する螺旋状に巻回されたチューブ状部材(12)が、金属,導電性セラミック,グラファイト又は同様な材料にて構成されている、請求項1〜6に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記撓み変形自在な螺旋状電極(16)のコイル部が、樹脂シール又は接着剤にて前記カテーテル本体に一体に連結されている、請求項1〜7に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記撓み変形自在な螺旋状電極(16)が、その外面をセラミック,グラファイト又は同様な材質のカバー又はスリーブ(22)で被包されている、請求項1〜8に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記電極が、同心的に取付けられた二つの内外筒状スリーブ(23,24)にて構成され、一方のスリーブの少なくとも一面に溝が螺旋状に付形され、その面が他方のスリーブと接触し、電極冷却液の供給及び戻し用の二つのチューブと接続可能な少なくとも一つの螺旋状通路(25)を形成し、前記二つのスリーブが、導電性セラミック,グラファイト又は同様な材料にて形成されている、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
