Abstract
【解決手段】 光学フィルム表面に、基材フィルムおよび粘着剤層を有する表面保護フィルムが当該表面保護フィルムの粘着剤層を介して設けられている、表面保護フィルム付光学フィルムにおいて、前記粘着剤層に接する光学フィルム表面は、活性化処理されており、前記表面保護フィルムの粘着剤層は、イオン系帯電防止剤を含有していることを特徴とする表面保護フィルム付光学フィルム。

前記粘着剤層に接する光学フィルム表面は、活性化処理されており、
前記表面保護フィルムの粘着剤層は、イオン系帯電防止剤を含有していることを特徴とする表面保護フィルム付光学フィルム、に関する。
一般式:[(R1,R2,R3,R4)‐N]+X‐
(式中、R1,R2,R3,R4はそれぞれ独立に炭素数1〜18のアルキル基または水素原子を示す。但し、R1〜R4のすべてが水素原子であることはない。Xはハロゲン原子等の塩基を示す。)で表される化合物があげられる。
(光学フィルムの作製)
厚さ80μmのポリビニルアルコールフィルムを35℃のヨウ素水溶液(濃度0.3重量%)中で5倍に延伸したのち50℃で4分間乾燥させて偏光子を得た。この偏光子の片側に厚さ80μmのトリアセチルセルロースフィルムを、ポリビニルアルコール系接着剤を用いて接着した。一方、偏光子のもう一方の片側には、厚さ80μmのトリアセチルセルロースフィルムに防眩処理層(厚さ10μm)を形成したものを、ポリビニルアルコール系接着剤を用いて接着し、厚さ100μmの偏光板を作製した。防眩処理層は、紫外線硬化型のウレタンアクリレートモノマー100部およびベンゾフェノン系光重合開始剤3部からなる紫外線硬化型樹脂組成物に、平均粒径1.8μmのシリカ粒子10部を加え、さらに粘度調整用溶剤として酢酸エチルを添加して固形分濃度50%に調整し、高速撹拌機にて混合して得られた混合溶液を、塗布、溶剤揮発後、紫外線を照射し硬化処理することにより形成した。さらに、得られた偏光板の防眩処理層の反対側にアクリル系粘着剤を塗布し、乾燥して厚さ25μmの粘着層を形成して、粘着剤層付きの偏光板とした。
<粘着剤の調製>2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート、メチルメタクリレートおよび2−ヒドロキシエチルアクリレートのアクリル系ポリマー(重量比:68/29/3,重量平均分子量40万)の25%酢酸エチル溶液を調製した。固形分換算で、前記アクリル系ポリマー100重量部に対してトリメチロールプロパントリレンジイソシアネート3重量部を添加、混合し、アクリル系粘着剤組成物を調製した。
上記偏光板の防眩処理層側に、上記表面保護フィルムの粘着剤層側を貼付けて、表面保護フィルム付光学フィルムを作製した。
比較例1(表面保護フィルムの作製)において、粘着剤中に、イオン系帯電防止剤としてステアリルトリメチルアンモニウムクロライドを、アクリル系ポリマーに対して1重量%加えて粘着剤を調製したこと以外は比較例1と同様にして、表面保護フィルムを作製した。また当該表面保護フィルムを用いたこと以外は比較例1と同様にして表面保護フィルム付光学フィルムを作製した。
比較例1(表面保護フィルムの作製)において、粘着剤中に、イオン系帯電防止剤としてステアリルトリメチルアンモニウムクロライドを、アクリル系ポリマーに対して2.5重量%加えて粘着剤を調製したこと以外は比較例1と同様にして、表面保護フィルムを作製した。また当該表面保護フィルムを用いたこと以外は比較例1と同様にして表面保護フィルム付光学フィルムを作製した。
比較例1で作成した偏光板の防眩処理層側を、10%水酸化ナトリウム水溶液によって、65℃で30秒間、浸漬によりケン化処理した。また表面保護フィルムは、比較例2で得られたものを用いた。上記偏光板の防眩処理層側に、上記表面保護フィルムの粘着剤層側を貼付けて、表面保護フィルム付光学フィルムを作製した。
比較例1で作成した偏光板の防眩処理層側を、10%水酸化ナトリウム水溶液によって、65℃で120秒間、浸漬によりケン化処理した。また表面保護フィルムは、比較例2で得られたものを用いた。上記偏光板の防眩処理層側に、上記表面保護フィルムの粘着剤層側を貼付けて、表面保護フィルム付光学フィルムを作製した。
比較例1で作成した偏光板の防眩処理層側を、ライン速:5m/min、0.7kWによってコロナ処理した。また表面保護フィルムは、比較例2で得られたものを用いた。上記偏光板の防眩処理層側に、上記表面保護フィルムの粘着剤層側を貼付けて、表面保護フィルム付光学フィルムを作製した。
比較例1で作成した偏光板の防眩処理層側を、ライン速:5m/min、1.4kWによってコロナ処理した。また表面保護フィルムは、比較例2で得られたものを用いた。上記偏光板の防眩処理層側に、上記表面保護フィルムの粘着剤層側を貼付けて、表面保護フィルム付光学フィルムを作製した。
サンプルを70mm×100mmに切り出し、同サイズの無アルカリガラス(0.7mm厚)板に貼り合わせた後、23℃/50%RHの雰囲気下において、10m/minの速度で表面保護フィルムを剥離した。その際、サンプルの中心部に発生した剥離帯電の最大値を剥離帯電量(kV)とした。剥離帯電量は春日電機製KSD−0103を使用し、測定点との距離は10cmとした。評価は下記基準による。
◎:0.5kV未満。
○:0.5〜2kV未満。
△:2〜2.5kV未満。
×:2.5kV以上。
サンプル(70mm×70mm)から表面保護フィルムをピンセットで剥離し、保護フィルムが貼り合わせてあった面側を超純水で洗い流し、回収した液を分析試料とした。この試料をイオンクロマトグラフィー(Dionex製:DX−500,カラム:Dionex製IonPacAG12A+AS12A、溶離液:2.7mm−Na2CO3/0.3mm−NaHCO3)により試料中に含まれる塩素イオン濃度から、偏光板に転写された帯電防止剤量を定量した。測定はn=2で行い、その平均値を転写量(g/m2)とした。
サンプルを50mm幅に切り出した。偏光板側(粘着剤層側)を固定し、引っ張り試験機を用いて引っ張り速度300mm/min、引っ張り角度180°で、表面保護フィルムを偏光板から剥離した。剥離する際に要した力を粘着力(N/50mm)とした。粘着力は、0.01〜2N/50mmの範囲、さらには0.05〜1N/50mmの範囲に表面保護機能と剥離性の点で制御されており好ましい。

Claims (4)
- 光学フィルム表面に、基材フィルムおよび粘着剤層を有する表面保護フィルムが当該表面保護フィルムの粘着剤層を介して設けられている、表面保護フィルム付光学フィルムにおいて、
前記粘着剤層に接する光学フィルム表面は、活性化処理されており、
前記表面保護フィルムの粘着剤層は、イオン系帯電防止剤を含有していることを特徴とする表面保護フィルム付光学フィルム。 - 前記光学フィルム表面の活性化処理が、ケン化処理またはコロナ処理であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表面保護フィルム付光学フィルム。
- 表面保護フィルムが剥離された際に、光学フィルム表面に転写される帯電防止剤の量が0.00001〜0.06g/m2であることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の表面保護フィルム付光学フィルム。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の表面保護フィルム付光学フィルムを用いた画像表示装置。
